Chapter 183: Secrets
Chapter 183 Secret Davy? After Redfellow left, Don sent Hammer to call William #Edward#Boeing to his private room. William founded his own company a few years ago and is now its president, always under the banner of the extinct St. Alden family. In fact, the first start-up capital for the company he founded came from this family!
"Dear Mr. Boeing!" Tang said, "You have to continue to run this company under my protection. You don't have to worry about yourself or your possessions. You keep fifty-one percent of the proceeds, and I get forty-nine percent of what was previously owned by the St. Alden family, and I am represented by the same legal person. Agreed? βγ
William # Edward # Boeing Although he is old, he is a man of good character and good appearance. He cautiously said, "If I continue to do it, I must run the company with the same authority." Otherwise, I will sell my fair share. β
"Sell a cornucopia?" Tang asked in a skeptical tone, "Don't, don't." Please don't be afraid of me. I'm a businessman first and foremost. If the St. Alden family had been restrained a little in the first place, those terrible things would not have happened. Now, they no longer exist. But you and I are reasonable people. My representative gets the amount of the St. Alden family. Mitnick, aka Tommy, wants to get what he deserves. He's going to be my boss in Chicago, with a salary of $100,000 a year, paid by your company as you see fit. If you have any trouble with someone, you go to him. In the process of doing business, you will always have trouble. β
William # Edward # Boeing is a tall and thin man who seems to be calm. He said, "Why do you exalt me? You have other more profitable options. β
Don #Clint said in all seriousness, "Because you're very talented." That's what everybody says in Chicago. To prove that I value you, I'm going to give you a little in return. β
When Boeing heard this, he couldn't help but smile and said, "You've given me enough." What could be so important other than my company? β
Don threw a good-natured smile at him, and though he had always been a serious man, he liked to surprise people with his power: "You may nominate who will serve on the United States of America Flight Commission," Don said, "and there is a vacancy there." β
Boeing was amazed and thrilled, one of the few times he had in his life. Most of all, he rejoiced because he saw a bright future for his company, one he could never have dreamed of. "If you're willing to do that," said Edward #Boeing, "we're going to make a fortune." β
"That's it," Don nodded, "now you can go out and have fun." β
Boeing shook his head again and again and said, "I'm going back to Chicago." I don't want people to know that I'm here, it's not wise. β
Don nodded and said, "Hammer, send someone to drive Mr. Boeing to New York." He can go to Chicago there! β
Now, apart from Don, only his sons, Sam and Albert #Marcino are left in the room. They looked somewhat stunned. Alfred was the only one who could put his mind to him, and others didn't know what he was going to do.
Albert is a few years younger than Sam, and he is too young to be the boss. Although Don is about the same age as him, no one thinks it has anything to do with it; Albert was in charge of New York's labor unions, clothing industry centers, transportation, and several drug businesses. Don #Clint told him that he could go ahead and read the power out of the Eastwood family. He only had to pay 10 percent of the tribute. Other than that, he is 100% in control of his actions.
Albert #Massino was overwhelmed by this act of generosity. He was originally an enthusiastic person, whether he expressed gratitude or complained, he was always very emotional, but this time, he was so grateful that he didn't know what to do, he just hugged Don.
"Speaking of the ten percent of the tribute, five percent of it I will keep for you in case you are old age or in case of misfortune!" Don said to Albert, "Forgive me, but people change, memories skew, and gratitude for past acts of generosity fades." I would like to remind you that the accounts must be kept accurate. He paused, then continued, "I am not a tax collector after all, and I cannot charge you those terrible profits and fines. β
Albert understood. For Don #Clint #Eastwood, punishment is always swift and clear, without even saying hello. And the punishment is always death. Then again, what other way can there be with the enemy?
Don #Eastwood sent Albert away, but, when he dropped Sam to the door, he stopped, then pulled Sam to him, leaned into his ear and whispered, "Remember, there's a secret between you and me." You are to keep this secret forever. I never gave you that order. β
Sam nodded and walked out, and then came another New York black *hand* leader, Victor #Corleone, Don liked this peer very much, he was very wise, he knew how to forgive others, which in Don's opinion, was very wise.
Victor kissed the back of Don's hand and said, "I'll do it, you don't have to worry!" β
Tang nodded and said, "I guess he still refuses to give up the drug * product business, since this is the case, we have to alienate him, gradually distance, don't show too much traces!" β
"Okay!" Victor said, "Don't worry! β
Theresa #Eastwood stayed on the lawn outside the mansion, waiting to talk to Tommy's son. She was a very young, very beautiful woman, but she was not fit to wear mourning clothes. mourning for her fiancΓ© suppressed her natural liveliness, and her unique appearance needed that liveliness to set off. Her big brown eyes looked too dark, and her tawny skin looked too yellow. It was only the hairpin that her mother had pinned on her head that gave her a touch of color. Throughout the day, she hid from her father, Don #Eastwood, and several brothers, Alfred, Fixio, and Hammer. However, she greeted her brother because she felt that he did not participate in the incident. But for now, she's waiting to see Frank #Mitnick.
The two of them have a very good relationship, and Frank is a few years older. When Theresa was in her teens, she fell madly in love with Frank. But Frank always put on the posture of an elder, and he was always so disappointed. Although Frank is a man who is known for his carnal desires, he has always been very cautious and does not dare to indulge in lust with Don's daughter.
