Chapter 765: Jealousy
The first week of the new semester passed unconsciously, and whether it was a first-year student who had just stepped into the school and was interested in everything, or an old student who had been studying at Hogwarts for at least a year, they were gradually integrating into the intense study and life.
Aside from the critically acclaimed Lupin, the professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts class this semester has been replaced by Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Alastor Moody, nothing has changed much.
Of course, as the most mediocre and inconspicuous boy in the fourth grade, Ron was sitting alone in the common room, staring at his former best friend Harry Potter in the distance, and his beautiful and lovely girlfriend Zhang Qiu next to him, full of envy and jealousy.
As the youngest son of the Weasley family, a boy who grew up under great pressure, he was a standard ugly duckling since he was a child, not only did he have to listen to his parents repeatedly praise his brothers every day for how good they were, but he never got what he wanted, whether it was clothes, daily necessities, textbooks, and utensils, all of which were old.
Although he understands that it is impossible for parents to have so much money to provide the best for each child, under this daily unequal treatment, the dissatisfaction squeezed in his heart has long been on the verge of exploding.
Especially after going to school and getting acquainted with the famous Harry Potter, he felt more and more that compared to the other party, he was like an inconspicuous star next to the sun.
Almost every time something happens, the first thing others want is always the "savior", and he is the companion of the hero in the adventure story, the kind of small character who can't even remember the name after reading the whole story.
Look at the great Harry Potter, not only was he born with a huge reputation that most wizards can't get in their lifetime, but his dead parents also left a large fortune to squander freely, and even Headmaster Albus Dumbledore looked at him differently.
Ever since the events of the last few months of the semester had caused the three friends to drift apart, Ron quickly realized that he had been in two worlds with Harry Potter from the beginning, and that there was no such thing as a friendship at all, just that he wanted to use the Savior's aura to get extra attention.
But now, it's all over.
Harry Potter kills the enemy who betrayed his parents, and goes down another path with Dumbledore, growing stronger almost every once in a while.
Even many professors believed that with his current strength, even if he was attacked by one or two Death Eaters, it would not be too dangerous.
In contrast, the adoration and convincing from classmates seem to be less important.
"Damn it, why wasn't I the one who became the savior!"
Ron Weasley clenched his fists and roared loudly inside, a strong taste of jealousy and bitterness that filled his brain.
Just as he was about to get up and go to the toilet to cool his face with cold water, he suddenly heard an exclamation from the common room, and looked up to see that it was Hermione Granger walking in from outside with a thick stack of books.
Many boys who are in a state of oversecretion of El hormones try to go up and offer courtesy to win favor, but they are all ruthlessly rejected.
With her latent bloodline activated, she looks like she's transformed from an ugly duckling to a white swan, causing a stir wherever she goes.
"Good morning!" the girl said casually, sitting down next to her.
"Uh-good morning! you're so beautiful today!" Ron stammered in response, hiding his inferiority complex and panic.
"Thank you, but I'd rather hear it come out of the mouth of another person. Hermione held her chin and the corners of her mouth turned up slightly, revealing a happy look that only a girl in love would have.
"Who are you referring to?" Ron cautiously probed, holding back the fire of jealousy burning in his heart.
Hermione rolled her eyes angrily, "Sorry, keep it a secret, I won't tell you." ”
With that, the girl opened a notebook densely filled with experimental records, lowered her head and began to get into work.
On the third day of school, she had already gone to the makeshift laboratory that Zhang Cheng had set up in the castle, and finally understood what was going on with the nature and change of magical energy, not just a simple user like ordinary wizards.
For her, those profound knowledge and complex changes are almost equivalent to opening the door to a new world, and the whole person is full of energy.
"Good luck!"
Ron shrugged his shoulders casually, stood up and walked into the men's bathroom at the end of the hallway, turned on the faucet and poured cold water on his face, and then gasped while staring at himself in the mirror.
For some reason, he seemed to feel a force surging from within him, and his eyes glowed with a yellowish glow from time to time.
Just when he thought he was so angry that he hallucinated, his heart beat violently, and then all the jealousy, unwillingness, and anger were all transformed into strength, and they were vented like a flood.
Hair, skin, hands, feet......
Almost every part of the body changed violently, and finally turned into a figure draped in red scales, like a demon in mythology, and even breathing would spray flames and a strong smell of sulfur.
"I ...... What's wrong with me?!" The boy looked at his changed appearance with a surprised face, and couldn't help but fall into a strong panic.
There's no way not to panic!
You must know that the Weasleys don't have much history of Animagus, and even if the Animagus usually changes their form as animals, not in this diabolical stance.
But as the saying goes, accidents always come with misfortune.
Before Ron could figure out what was going on in him, a junior boy who had accidentally barged in spotted him and let out a piercing scream.
"Ah!!!!!!! weird...... There's a monster here!"
"Damn it, shut up, don't make a sound!"
In desperation, Ron subconsciously stretched out his thick arm and pushed the other party.
But who knows, the force of this push is far beyond his imagination, and the boy directly soars into the air and slams into the wall behind him, spurting a mouthful of blood from his mouth, and then fainting.
"Oh-no! no! no! I didn't mean to! I need to get out of here! I can't let anyone see me!"
In a panic, he didn't care about anything else, smashed the toilet glass, rushed quickly in the direction of the Forbidden Forest, and disappeared without a trace after a while.
Coincidentally, Zhang Cheng, who was standing in front of the window, saw the flashing red figure, and couldn't help but curl the corners of his mouth and muttered to himself: "Aha! Another mutant! I hope this won't die too soon......"
