When the Great Jin Army fought bloody battles on the Samhan Peninsula in the third year of Hongwu, the navy was not idle, especially affected by the Ryukyu Incident, the navy was ready to learn from Lin Feng, and with a ship, it could realize the long-cherished wish of expanding the territory for the imperial court.

In particular, with the southern base of Ryukyu Island, the navy can advance more confidently and boldly into the uncharted waters. At a critical juncture in the construction of the Ryukyus, the news came that the navy was very excited: there was another large island in the southwest of the Ryukyus.

Immediately the navy set its sights on a farther direction, this time the navy was more experienced than the first, and the Admiralty set up a fleet in the Ryukyus to specialize in ocean-going exploration, preparing to go south in search of the legendary islands.

After the Great Jin Dynasty incorporated the Ryukyus into its rule, it left more than 20 warships and some naval officers on the Ryukyu Island, forming the Second Naval Fleet, which was responsible for the defense of the Ryukyus.

Originally, the center of gravity of the Second Squadron was placed in the direction of the northwest continent, that is, to guard against Jiangdong. But now, thanks to the appearance of the newest islands, the navy has suddenly shifted its focus to the south.

It took a lot of effort to finally assemble an expedition fleet of five large ships and more than 1,100 crew members. In order to ensure the combat effectiveness of the fleet, the Admiralty equipped this team with the best weapons, including muskets, divine arm bows, longbows and other hot and cold weapons.

The date of departure of the fleet was set in August of the third year of Hongwu. When the day came, a fleet of five warships, 400 sailors, 800 soldiers, and 50 natives set sail from the Ryukyu base.

Along the way, Danfan encounters islands. The members of the expedition team had to go up and search for it, and then lay the boundary monument to declare their sovereignty. So despite the speed of the big ships of the fleet, it took a lot of time to throw them.

In the middle of the third year of Hongwu, a fleet of five ocean-going ships set off from the Ryukyu base and embarked on the sea route southward.

Because of some experience, the navy knows that only a dozen small boats can travel in the vast sea. It's almost impossible. So the further south. The larger and larger the fleet of ships traveling in the Navy, the larger the number of people.

After the departure of the fleet, along the way they also encountered some islands, but in the eyes of the naval people. These islets are too small. Compared to the Ryukyu Oshima, it is not worth anything at all. They continued to advance south except after laying boundary markers on the island.

After two months of drifting at sea, the Navy's expeditionary fleet finally came across a land piece large enough for their initial exploration. They found that the island seemed to be a little larger than the Ryukyu Island.

The naval personnel of the Great Jin Dynasty did not know that this large island was the famous Luzon Island in later generations, but at this time, the Chinese people knew almost nothing about it. The natives living on the island are somewhat similar to the Liuqiu people, and they also have the custom of headhunting.

At the beginning of September, the expedition fleet landed successfully on the Big Island (i.e., Luzon). After landing, the crew found that the terrain here was much more complicated than the small islands they passed on the way, and the dense primeval forest, not to mention the Japanese island, was much inferior.

What's worse is that there are so many tribes here, and they don't understand each other's language, not to mention that the Jin people can't understand the language of the locals, even a dozen guides brought from the Ryukyus, including a few natives collected from the islands along the way, have also become decorations.

However, at this time, the crew of the Dajin ocean-going fleet were all experienced veterans, and they were no longer the fledgling and trembling chicks of the year.

After some research, the leadership of the expedition fleet decided to build a base near the landing site in order to lay the foundation for future development. More than ten miles away from where the fleet landed, there was a place where the river flowed into the sea, and the expedition fleet decided to build a large village here.

While the expedition fleet was building in Luzon, the news of the discovery of Oshima was transmitted to the Ryukyu base so that the rear could provide them with support. In the process of construction, they will inevitably clash with some nearby indigenous tribes. However, in the face of this situation, the navy is already very experienced.

The plan of the Great Jin Expedition Fleet was to first scare the local natives, and then let them submit, and at the same time let them have enough "freedom". The subjugated tribes were required to provide food and some "labor" for the "expeditionary force", and in return, they could obtain the "shelter" of the Great Jin, and if they clashed with other tribes, the Jin army would side with them.

On 19 October, a support fleet from the Ryukyus also landed on Luzon Island to officially join the previous expedition fleet. As a result, the military strength of the Jin army in Luzon increased greatly, and under the deterrence and attack of the Jin army, three of the four neighboring indigenous tribes were subjugated, and one was defeated and forced to move elsewhere.

For the indigenous tribes that were annexed, the expedition team carried out naturalization education among the three tribes according to the case of the Ryukyus, and aimed to achieve county rule as soon as possible.

However, as the population grows, the problem comes. Not to mention anything else, the number of people has increased so much at once, on land, on ships, thousands of people have to eat, how can only three local tribes who can barely feed themselves be enough? There was no choice but for the navy to do fishing in the fields with their own hands to achieve the goal of self-sufficiency.

The six warships that arrived from the Ryukyus for reinforcements not only brought much-needed supplies to the expedition fleet, but most importantly brought enough medicine and doctors to the fleet.

The Jin army's expansion in the Ryukyus provoked a backlash from the local natives, and two months after the landing, the Jin army knew that good days were coming to an end. It turned out that the local tribes on the island of Luzon formed an anti-Jin army alliance, and a total of forty or fifty indigenous tribes formed an alliance.

These anti-Jin indigenous leaders began to preach among the natives the brutality and greed of the Jin army, and they would take away the last of the natives' proud horns and the last of their furs. So a rumor that caused panic among the local natives began to spread in Luzon.

"A group of invaders has come from the north, and they will rob you of your belongings, burn down your grass houses, and take possession of your wives and daughters."

With the hostility of the local tribes, the Jin army felt more and more that the naturalization work was not easy to do. Finally, after some deliberations, the expeditionary force prepared to launch an armed conquest of the local tribes. So inside the base in Luzon, the Jin army formed an expeditionary army of 1,000 men, ready to sweep away the indigenous tribes of northern Luzon.

The army swept through the past, and along the way, conquered many tribes, large and small, but compared with Liuqiu, the population of the tribes here is often smaller, one or two thousand people, it is already a large tribe, and the tribes of hundreds of people abound.

These tribes, of course, cannot be the opponents of the Jin army. Some tribes surrendered, and some began to migrate south after the defeat. As the Jin army advanced, a high mountain emerged (present-day Mid-Cordillera Hill in the Philippines).

In the vicinity of this mountain, the real opponent of the Jin army appeared, there was a large tribe of tens of thousands living here, and dozens of small tribes were attached to him, and these tribes were the backbone of the opposition to the Jin army. Now, under the leadership of the tribal leader, they have formed an indigenous coalition of 10,000 people, ready to fight to the death against the Great Jin here.

Although the tribal leader heard that the soldiers of the Jin army were very powerful from the tribes that kept taking refuge, he did not pay attention to it, and now his strength is more than ten times that of the Jin army, and it can be said that most of the tribes in the north of Luzon are concentrated here, so he is full of belief in defeating the Jin army.

On 5 November, a "great battle" began on the eastern slopes of the mountain.

On one side, there are more than 800 Jin soldiers, all the way to the battle, it is inevitable that there will be some losses, after a few battles plus the sick Jin army can fight only more than 600 soldiers. The troops involved in this war also included nearly 100 indigenous soldiers, and for these indigenous soldiers, the Jin army was not worried about the other party's rebellion, because their tribes had been annexed, and their relatives were all in the places controlled by the Jin army.

On the other hand, more than 12,000 warriors from more than thirty indigenous tribes, ranging from thirteen to fifty years old, almost all the men who could take up arms are here.

Waving their weapons and shouting loudly, the natives rushed down the hillside towards the Jin army a little lower, and these warriors showed the unique bravery of the primitive people.

However, the Jin army under the mountain had advanced weapons at that time, and the power of muskets and crossbow arrows increased a lot for the natives who did not have armor to protect their bodies.

In the dense rain of bullets, arrows and other long-range fire strikes, the indigenous fighters continued to fall.

Eventually, the native soldiers collapsed under the threat of death, panicked, and retreated.

The natives left behind hundreds of their companions and began to flee into the jungle in the mountains, and in this battle the Jin army suffered almost no losses, but killed more than 1,200 enemies and more than 2,000 prisoners.

This battle brought the prestige of the Jin army, and the Great Jin established its dominance in northern Luzon. To the west, there are steep mountains, and to the south, dense primeval forests.

The Jin explorers had to pause again, and then they began to reorganize the northeastern part of Luzon, and after the war, they subdued six new indigenous tribes, adding 2,6700 indigenous people, and shortly thereafter, two more tribes that originally lived on the eastern side of the Great Jin took the initiative to come to submit to the Great Jin soldiers because of the strong fighting power of the Great Jin soldiers-
