Some people are poor, some people are rich, some people are high, and some people are as humble as ants. But that's why 'all beings are equal'. The so-called equality of all beings refers to the equality of the Dharma of all beings, the equality of compassion and joy for all beings, and the equality of all beings in the face of the law of cause and effect. It does not mean that all living beings are equal in their circumstances, equal in their fortunes and in their misfortunes. The difference between sentient beings is based on the general environment of cause and effect. The inequality of sentient beings is also caused by the inequality of the good and bad karma that everyone has created since the beginning of time. Some do much good, some do little, some do more evil, and some do less. There is no reason to demand that no matter what is done evil or good, the same treatment should be given to reincarnated as a human being. Therefore, the equality of all beings means that everyone is equal in the face of the cycle of cause and effect. ”
