Chapter 562: Oil Wars

"Bang! Bang bang! ”

In the Führer's office in the Third Reich State Building, Hitler was so mad that he smashed his head against the wall when he learned that the Romanian oil industry had been bombed by the Allied air forces again. Pen? Interesting? Pavilion wWw. biquge。 info╔╗

"Führer, I understand your sadness, but please take care of your body, it doesn't matter if a Romanian oil is ruined, as long as you are the Führer, we will always have a way."

Heinrich and other Nazi Party officials persuaded Hitler to stop harming himself, and although everyone understood that he had a habit of doing so, they couldn't help but stop Hitler's exaggerated behavior.

Hitler, of course, didn't really hit the wall, he just didn't want to face it, because the devastating destruction of the Romanian oil industry would stop the huge German war machine for a month, which was obviously unacceptable to Hitler.

Through the glass window, Hitler looked northeast and seemed to be able to see the raging fires thousands of kilometers away.

On the Wallaqian Plain, all German oil facilities in Romania were concentrated. With the end of the bombing in the early morning of the 8th, the Hualaqian oil area was in flames, more than 1,270 oil refining units were blown up, and more than 3.8 million tons of crude oil and petrochemical products were incinerating.

Although it took less than a month for Germany to resume production after the last major air raid, after this major air raid, because the bombing mission was carried out by volunteer pilots from the Chinese Empire and advanced Aerial Fortress strategic bombers, plus the aerial bombs dropped were all giant bombs weighing one to two tons, as well as extremely destructive white phosphorus bombs. As a result, the entire oil industry area was completely destroyed. In particular, the fragments of white phosphorus bombs adhered to invisible corners, and the equipment on the ground could be inspected after perforation, and many of the underground pipelines could not be discharged in a short time after the underground pipelines were corroded. Unless the pipeline is rebuilt, which will take at least two years.

In the air raid in the early morning of the 8th, the Allied air force lost a total of 133 bombers, including one H5 bomber was shot down, but all 200 H6 Flying Fortress strategic bombers were not lost, of which 6 H6 bombers were injured to varying degrees, but they still staggered back to the French airfield. The British and French High Command was very pleased with the operation and highly praised the excellent combat capabilities of the H6 bombers. Suddenly threw the entangled mood of buying an expensive H6 bomber out of the clouds.

After that, the British and French high command decided to expand the strategic bomber force, and the British and French tightened their belts and pledged their remaining gold and silver reserves to the Chinese Empire with a mortgage amount of 14.4 billion dragon coins. All of them were used to import advanced weapons and equipment from the Chinese Empire and urgently needed materials for the war, including an additional order for 600 H6N3 series strategic bombers, as well as hundreds of thousands of tons of mass destruction aerial bombs, which were specially used to bomb important German military bases and industrial cities.

Just when the Germans were crying because of the bombing of the oil industry in Romania, the British and French were secretly rejoicing. Far in the Forbidden City of the Chinese Empire, far to the east, the imperial emperor Wang Chenhao, who was holding a pre-imperial meeting, learned of this and said directly in front of the ministers: "Hegemony began and ended because of oil. Due to the scarcity of oil resources. The German tanks would eventually stop advancing due to lack of fuel. ”

Wang Chenhao said in one sentence that one of the biggest factors at stake in Germany's war of aggression was launched.

"Your Majesty is wise!" The new Prime Minister of the Imperial Cabinet, Song Jiaoren, immediately chimed in: "However, before that (the oil runs out)." Driven mad, Hitler was expected to take the plunge to invade the Soviet oil fields, and they were even likely to attack the Reich-controlled Middle East oil fields. Because the biggest pair of hands that grabbed the Germans' necks was none other than us. ”

In the summer of the 39th year of Guanghua, Tang Shaoyi, the former prime minister of the imperial cabinet and the supreme leader of the Civil Rights Party, was seriously ill and could not continue to preside over national affairs, so Song Jiaoren, the second person of the Civil Rights Party, naturally took over Tang Shaoyi's position in the party, and was nominated by the imperial emperor Wang Chenhao to exercise ruling power as the acting prime minister of the empire. ╔╗

This year was not a good year for the Chinese Empire. It is not because of the slowdown in economic growth, but because more than a dozen founding heroes of the Chinese Empire have died one after another during the year, including Zhang Feng, Tang Shaoyi, Wang Shizhen, Duan Qirui, Feng Guozhang, Ruan Zhongshu, Li Guodong and other important ministers, as well as dozens of veteran members of the National Assembly.

Of course, this is not an emergency, from the eighteenth year of Guanghua to the thirty-eighth year, a total of hundreds of heavyweights from all walks of life in the empire have died one after another. Among them, Concubine Ning, Concubine Xian, Concubine Gong, Concubine Chen, Concubine Kang, Concubine Shu, and Concubine Li, especially Concubine Ning, as the princess of the previous dynasty, inherited the gene that the royal women of the previous dynasty could not live to forty, and became the first woman to leave Wang Chenhao, which can be described as an untimely death. And on September 5, the 39th year of Guanghua, Wang Chenhao's most true love queen Li Youyi returned to the west. As a woman born in the old society, Li Youyi was able to live to the age of sixty (the average life expectancy of the Chinese Empire at that time was 40.26 years), which was considered a joy and mourning, but for Wang Chenhao, the departure of the queen hit him hard, and Wang Chenhao felt that he was much older overnight.

It is precisely because of the death of Empress Li Youyi that the 39th year of Guanghua was called the saddest year by the officials of the Imperial History Observatory of the Chinese Empire. Since then, there is only one woman left by Wang Chenhao's side, Concubine Zhuang, this princess from the Alxa League is also the youngest among all the concubines, and she is the only one who has been waiting for the opportunity to become the queen of the empire.

Until the beginning of the 40th year of Guanghua, the top management of the Chinese Empire had completed a new round of reshuffle. The main reason is that a large number of founding heroes and important ministers have left the power vacuum left one after another, and after being recommended by them and strictly reviewed by the supervision and inspection departments of the imperial government, a new generation of young people can enter the central system of the empire.

The new generation of leading collectives basically grew up in the general environment after the founding of the Chinese Empire, were rarely influenced by the old society of the previous dynasties, were open-minded and advanced, and generally had a bachelor's degree or above, and were a new generation of leading collectives that met the requirements of the continued prosperity of the Chinese Empire.

Most of them are descendants of the founding fathers of the country. They all thrives under the emperor's grace. Their loyalty to the royal family and the country is unquestionable, but what really reassures and makes Wang Chenhao feel at ease and happy is that this generation is extremely active in thinking, and has a much stronger grasp of the changes and trends of the world situation than their elders. Just like Song Jiaoren's remarks just now. The depth of his insights and thorough analysis far surpass the previous Zhang Feng, Tang Shaoyi, Ruan Zhongshu, Wu Tingfang, Wang Shizhen and others, who cannot achieve the level of Song Jiaoren.

Song Jiaoren pointed out that Germany was very likely to invade the Soviet Union militarily and even the Chinese Empire, just like a boulder falling into a calm lake, and quickly stirred up a huge wave within the supreme ruling group of the empire.

If it was twenty years ago. The high-ranking officials of the Chinese Empire may not have paid much attention to the importance of oil to the country's economic development and national defense, because at that time they paid more attention to the mining and use of coal and steel resources, believing that steel and coal were the country's primary living resources. The Chinese Empire's domestic steel production and coal reserves are the largest in the world, and Germany's domestic coal resources are also very rich. Therefore, it would not be considered that the Germans were challenging the Chinese Empire for the sake of resources.

But after the twenty-year treaty era passed, the international landscape has changed dramatically. For industrialized countries, oil is not only used to power the war machine to protect itself, but also to lubricate the industrial machine to strengthen itself. Hence how much of the international oil market share. It often determines whether they are at the top or at the bottom of the international political food chain. ╔╗The unfair distribution of oil naturally ignites the torch of war.

Oil redistribution was mostly a staple on the post-war negotiating table. Because of the rapid development of the Chinese Empire's industry. Dependence on oil and related petrochemicals has far surpassed coal, and before World War I, the Chinese Empire consumed only about 8 million tons of oil per year. The demand for oil was largely anchored in the empire's vast military power. However, after the rapid development of the treaty era, the Chinese Empire was in the thirty-ninth year of Guanghua. The consumption of oil has reached 34 million tons, and the role of petroleum and petrochemicals is no longer a simple demand for military fuel, but has replaced coal as the empire's largest energy consumer.

During the treaty era, the Chinese Empire launched the Gulf War to force the Caucasus Federation to submit and surrender the Baku oil region to the Chinese Empire. At the same time, through the control of Turkey, the Chinese Empire expanded the actual control area in the Persian Gulf, from the initial control of a small Kuwait to meet the oil supply of the Chinese Empire, to the control of the entire Iraqi oil region, and forced the Persian Empire (Iran) and the Federation of Saudi Arabia to hand over the oil exploitation rights of the Persian Gulf coastal region to the Chinese Empire, so that the Chinese Empire's monopoly on the entire Middle East oil region was realized.

It can be seen from the total control of the Chinese Empire over the oil industrial areas of the Middle East that the importance of oil to the Chinese Imperial Government at this time has increased exponentially.

Similarly, in North America, the oil in the Gulf of Mexico has also become the root cause of the outbreak of the Third Mexican-American War between the United States and Mexico, because Mexico seized the oil areas of Texas and the Gulf of Mexico during the Second Mexican-American War, thus laying the foundation for more than ten years of Mexico's super-rapid development, but also because of this oil area, the United States after Roosevelt came to power, through the third Mexican-American War recaptured.

All this indicates a key word - "oil", which has been highly valued by various great powers.

In the face of Song Jiaoren's astonishing words, the ministers of the empire thought that he was exaggerating on the one hand, and they did not believe that any country in the world dared to speak out against the Chinese Empire. But on the other hand, the ministers also understood that Soong Jiaoren was not untargeted, and with the current state of Germany, it was very possible to take risks.

"The Romanian oil fields of the Germans were destroyed, and it will be difficult to recover without a year or two. It can be said that the Germans' domestic oil reserves and refined oil products can last less than a month, so it is very possible that the Germans will take risks for the sake of oil, and I agree with what Lord Song said. ”

The new Minister of the Interior, Chang Keqin, made a statement, but he also disagreed, so he continued: "But I don't think Hitler dared to declare war on the Reich, not to mention that we have a powerful nuclear strike force, and the conventional military force alone is not something that the German army can contend with!" ”

"I also agree with Chang Daren's point of view!" The new Minister of National Defense, General Zhang Zizhong, made a statement at this time that no country would be allowed to surpass the Chinese Empire in military strength. This is a compulsory course as the Minister of Defense of the Empire, and any country that wants to challenge the power of the Chinese emperor will be blacklisted.

"But!" Zhang Zizhong then changed his words and said: "It is very likely that Germany will attack the Soviet Union in a desperate way, but only if the Reich blocks the passage of oil to Germany from the United States, Colombia and Venezuela. Only then would Germany be forced to attack the Soviet Union and gain access to oil resources. ”

"Germany's oil reserves are only enough for its industry and army to operate for a month, during which it can borrow a batch of oil from Italy, Spain and other allies, and then buy a batch of oil from the Reich with the help of Turkey, although the Soviet Union will ask for a sky-high price, but the Germans can endure for a while, 35% of the oil Germany buys from the American countries may be destroyed by the Entente, so that Germany's oil can last for four to five months. If Romania's oil fields are not restored, within a month Germany will have to make a choice between bowing to the Reich or invading the Soviet Union militarily. The new Chancellor of the Exchequer, Wu Zinan, rolled his eyes and had already calculated the mathematical probability of Germany's various actions. ╔╗

Minister of Agriculture and Industry Hu Wenlian also expressed his views. "Germany, as one of the world's great powers, was forced to toss and turn in war from the very beginning with a severe shortage of this black and flammable liquid. Britain and Germany, the two great powers of Europe, had a fierce rivalry at the end of the 19th century, and eventually fought it out through World War I. However, the intervention of the Empire prevented Britain and Germany from deciding the outcome of World War I. As a result, the fundamental contradictions between the two sides were not resolved, and the root cause of World War II was naturally laid. The Middle East, which had the richest oil reserves, was monopolized by the Chinese Empire, thus weakening Germany's ability to challenge the superpower of the East, the Chinese Empire. But Britain and France, in order to maintain this competitive situation of their own dominance, were long before Germany launched the war machine again. A trade war with Germany aimed at blocking oil supplies began. ”

Song Jiaoren asked, "What are you referring to?" ”

Hu Wenlian said directly: "It's Romania!" Before I joined the Imperial Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce, I had been studying the oil problem. Romania was the only oil-rich region on the European continent and was a natural point of contention between the Central and Entente powers. ”

After Hu Wenlian's analysis. Wang Chenhao and his ministers quickly learned about Romania's role in the world war.

The oil-based dispute between Britain and Germany was most intense in Romania. As an oil-poor country, Germany's oil supply problem remained unresolved after the First World War, and it was forced to import oil from the Chinese Empire because of its financial lifeline. Before the outbreak of World War II, Romania was Germany's main source of oil, in addition to Venezuela, Mexico, the Dutch East Indies, the United States, the Soviet Union and other countries. As tensions between Britain and Germany continued to rise, most of the oil routes from the Americas to German ports were blocked by the British navy, although the German navy was able to enter the Atlantic and had a strength advantage over the British navy. However, Germany lacked overseas military bases, and in the case of the Atlantic "surname", it also had to look at the face of the Chinese Imperial Navy, and in fact the American oil routes were still under the control of the Chinese Empire. After the economic crisis, Germany's relations with the Chinese Empire took a sharp turn for the worse, and in order to prevent the outbreak of war from being pinched by the Chinese Empire, Germany had to shift oil importers and import routes, so Romania's role on the German geopolitical map became more and more important.

Romania has been the largest oil producer in Europe since the Baku oil region of the Caucasus was controlled by the Chinese Empire, and is located at the intersection of Eastern Europe, Central Europe and Southeastern Europe. Taking control of Romania will undoubtedly change the power of both sides of the war. What's more, Romania is still an agrarian country, with very low capacity to extract and consume oil, and foreign capital is the de facto master of the country's mines.

Since Romania had been part of the Allied countries until World War I, the Entente countries controlled the oil there. Among them, the Anglo-Dutch oil company accounted for 39.8%, France accounted for 16.6%, the United States accounted for 12.5%, the Chinese empire accounted for 8%, and Romania itself accounted for only 1.7%.

In fact, since the First World War, the Anglo-German oil offensive and defense in Romania has not stopped. In November 1916, the Germans invaded and occupied the Walla Thousand Plains. Seized all oil facilities in Romania. Britain then sent agents to infiltrate the country and successfully destroyed more than 70 oil refining units and burned more than 800,000 tons of crude oil and petroleum products. Although it took five months for Germany to resume production, production never returned to its original level.

Germany made Romania's oil reserves an important part of its preparations for war. Because the latter provides at least a third of Germany's total oil consumption. In order to control Romania economically, the German chemical company Farben Chemical Company purchased 17 million marks worth of grain from Romania and supplied 13.6 million marks of industrial products, and the trade volume soared from 1,096,000 dragon coins in 1934 to 300,000 dragon dollars in 1937. In exchange, Germany demanded that Romania increase its oil exports to Germany and offered to compensate for the cost of oil with armaments. The following year, Germany also provided Romania with a loan of 250 million marks to purchase German fire. The two countries also follow the German initiative. The company Droz United, which mainly deals in petroleum business, was established.

The British obviously did not want to see cooperation between the two countries, because Romanian oil would not only sharpen the Germanic sword, but also the well-planned economic war against Germany. In the opinion of the London side, "if Germany takes control of Romania." Then Britain will not suffer any damage from Germany by economic warfare, which is an important part of British strategy". In order to prevent Romania from falling to Germany, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain announced that he would provide all assistance to Romania in the event of aggression, and gave Romania a loan of 5 million pounds sterling to buy British equipment. It also promised to buy 200,000 tons of wheat in return for giving up cooperation with Germany.

Romania, which was strictly neutral and unwilling to provoke the great powers, was reluctant to make a false concession to London and Berlin. Two are not guilty. Britain has instead begun to use its economic advantages to induce Romania to move closer to itself through economic and trade means. It unites France. Ready to pay 60 million dragon coins to Romania on the condition of blowing up the Romanian oil fields. But it was rejected by Luo Fang. Britain instead took advantage of its own capital to control most of Romania's oil exploration rights, importing large quantities of Romanian oil at the beginning of World War II, and raising prices, so that it mainly flowed to other Western countries with relatively abundant foreign exchange.

All of Romania's oil stocks were snapped up by the British, who also booked contracts for the second half of the year and the right to supply oil after the contract expired, and rented all the barges and train cars in Romania as much as possible so that they would not be used to sell oil to Germany. Soon, 148 tankers of different types in the Danube River basin were chartered by the British, who even had to set up a special Grande company to centralize the management of these steamers, which were of little use for the time being.

The British's oil rush policy hit Germany hard. Due to the deterioration of relations with the Chinese Empire, Germany's foreign exchange shortage (international settlements were dominated by dragon coins), and the volume of oil imports from Romania plummeted from 70,000 tons in October 1937 to 60,000 tons in November. In September 1938, only 10,000 tons of crude oil were imported into Germany, while 255,000 tons were sold to Britain and 106,000 tons to France. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain even proudly declared in a letter to his sister, "I have a premonition that the war will be over in the spring [of 1939],...... There was no need to defeat them on the battlefield, only to show the Germans whether they could win or not, and that it was not worth it to continue to grow poorer and poorer. ”

The British blockade in the field of oil supply forced the German staff to exercise restraint in formulating battle plans. In the early days of the war, due to the rapid decline of Germany's oil reserves from 2.4 million tons to 1.6 million tons, the German army never dared to take the initiative to launch large-scale air battles and bombing against Britain and France, because its fuel stocks were seriously insufficient, and it was only enough to launch a land offensive on the Western Front. If Germany did not actively fight back against the energy war of Britain and France, Germany would not only not be able to win the war, but would even end its industrialization process.

The Germans first put pressure on Romania, and if Romania continued to resign the energy war between Britain and France, they could not rule out the possibility of launching an attack on it. The outbreak of the Soviet-Finnish war also helped Germany. Fearing that it would become the next target of the Soviet Union's attack, Romania was anxious to acquire German-style equipment for self-defense, so it began to break "neutrality" and turn to Germany. At the end of 1938, Romanian Prime Minister Tatanescu promised Germany that he would guarantee the sale of no less than 150,000 tons of oil per month to Germany in any case, on the condition that the other side would supply it with weapons. Romania's submission was not only not relieved of German pressure. Instead, it has been increased again. In the spring of the following year, Germany demanded that Romania supply oil to Romania at a lower price than the market price, threatening to stop supplying it with weapons. Romania exchanged 200,000 tons of oil for armaments seized by Germany from Poland. With Germany's successive victories on the Western Front, the Romanian king even forced the national oil companies at home and abroad to supply Germany with 25-300,000 tons of oil per month. But Germany was not satisfied. Finally, he sent troops to directly occupy the Romanian oil region and forced the Romanian king to join the Allied bloc.

The Soviet Union was another strategic gap for Germany to break through the Anglo-French energy blockade. In August 1937, the Soviet Union and Germany signed a non-aggression pact. In that year, Germany received 900,000 tons of oil from the Soviet Union. In the second year of the war, Soviet oil accounted for two-thirds of Germany's total imports that year. Not only that, but the Soviet Union also helped Germany to purchase the necessary strategic materials from third countries.

"According to statistics, by the end of Guanghua 39, the raw materials obtained through the Soviet Union reached 246972 tons."

When Hu Wenlian judged the war situation in European countries through the analysis of oil. The head of the Reich's CIA, Mark Ming, added.

Hu Wenlian continued: "Britain and France have greatly grazed the cooperation between Germany and the Soviet Union. After the Soviet invasion of Finland, Britain first stopped trade with the Soviet Union and prepared to unite with France to cut off Soviet oil supplies to Germany. In March last year, Britain and France planned to attack the Caucasus oil fields in the south of the Soviet Union. French Army General Moganlin said. "If the bombing destroys these resources, it will not only deprive Germany of the Soviet Union's oil supply, but the Soviet Union itself will be in danger of running out of oil."

"I can confirm that!" Defense Minister Zhang Zizhong said: "Britain and France asked Turkey to provide air bases for the British and French air forces, but this plan was eventually rejected by the Turkish military because of the strong opposition of the imperial side, and the British and French plans were immediately shelved. ”

Wang Chenhao nodded. Said: "This matter is prevented by my decree, and Britain and France must not be allowed to get involved in Turkey." What's more, in addition to the oil fields of the Soviets in the Caucasus, the Baku oil region under imperial control is also nearby. It was impossible for Britain and France not to know that much of the Soviet oil was also imported from the Reich. Then resell it to the Germans at a markup. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the British and French air forces will bomb the Baku oil field together. ”

Song Jiaoren asked, "Your Majesty's concern is not unreasonable!" If it's us. It will also blow up the Baku oil area 'by the way', and when the time comes, it will only be called a misunderstanding. At most, it will be compensated. But for Germany, it was equivalent to cutting off a considerable part of the oil source, and the negative impact on the entire war situation was self-evident. ”

The oil shortage not only forced Germany to reshape its relations with Romania and the Soviet Union, and to create energy conditions for the war on the Western Front by adopting a pragmatic attitude, but also changed the mode of operation of the German army during World War II. Long-term offensive and defensive warfare with high energy consumption was basically abandoned, and energy-saving "blitzkriegs" characterized by rapid raids became the main choice. In addition, the combat objectives were no longer limited to the siege of cities and land, and more oil towns and logistics bases were marked on the operational map of the German General Staff.

"According to estimates from the Imperial Statistical Office, the German Army and Air Force attacked Poland. Because of the rapid operation and the short duration of the war, about 155,000 tons of oil were consumed, of which 100,000 tons were consumed in the Polish battlefield, and the goal of occupying the country was achieved with low energy consumption. The German invasion of Norway and Denmark and the campaign in Western Europe took less than 500,000 tons of oil, and with less than 300,000 tons of daily consumption in the first four months of the year, Germany has consumed less than 1.5 million tons since the start of the war, which is only a quarter of the estimated 5 million tons of oil it must spend. This does not include the no less than 1.5 million tons of oil that the Germans plundered from all over Europe, which alone was enough to compensate for the previous war. ”

Wang Chenhao said with a smile: "So the Germans want to defeat France quickly, and the empire has to fully support France and Britain in order to maintain the balance in Europe, so they will sell all the advanced weapons and equipment to the Entente." ”

"Your Majesty is wise!" When everyone thought of it, they were immediately impressed by Wang Chenhao's far-sighted strategic decision, and their faces were full of admiration.

Song Jiaoren said at this time: "The blitzkrieg cannot offset the negative impact of the oil shortage on the progress of the war. Since oil had become the key to victory or defeat in the war, Hitler had to let his army advance along the oil veins and abandon the more strategic route of the march. ”

Hu Wenlian nodded and said: "So, according to my estimates, Germany's total oil consumption this year will reach 10,000 tons, and the oil source of the Romanian oil fields controlled by it is only about 12 million tons a year." This was for German tanks attacking from all sides. It's like a drop in the bucket. What's more, the British and French air forces dealt a fatal blow to the Romanian oil fields this time, and Germany's gasoline reserves were only about 800,000 tons, and if a high-intensity battle was fought, it would only be enough to meet a month's consumption. Germany either had to cease war with Britain and France. Either they had to invade the Soviet Union in a desperate way, or they could kneel down and beg the Reich for mercy and beg the Reich to sell them oil. ”

"France has stabilized the situation with the help of the Reich, and at present on the Western Front, the German army has not been able to move forward. The Italian and Spanish armies were not to be concerned and could not inflict a fatal blow on the French. Then the balance in Europe seems to have emerged, and the Reich is not opening up oil exports to Germany at this time, which will be a huge amount of revenue! ”

For oil exports. No one knows better than Hu Wenlian that the huge profits from oil and petrochemicals during the war were no less than the huge profits from the export of arms. So he immediately replied: "Your Majesty, the minister has made an estimate if Germany turns to import oil from the Reich. Even Italy, Spain, Bulgaria and other allied countries will import oil from the empire, and then at least 30 million tons of oil will be exported every year, and at a price of 15 dragon dollars per barrel, it will make a profit of 27 billion dragon dollars per year. If we control it properly, reduce crude oil exports. Increasing the export of refined oil, especially high-performance fuel for military use, would make at least 40 billion dragon dollars a year, if the Second World War lasted a few more years...... Hey hey ......"

Speaking of this, Hu Wenlian couldn't help but laugh. Although his expression was a bit xx (you know), it undoubtedly spoke to everyone's hearts.

Wang Chenhao looked at everyone. He asked, "What do you think?" ”

Everyone, you look at me, I look at you, and after talking to each other for a while. Immediately, he said in unison to Wang Chenhao: "The ministers seconded the proposal!" ”

Wang Chenhao nodded, and said to Song Jiaoren: "Since there are no objections, then you will be responsible for handling this matter in the Song Qing family!" ”

Song Jiaoren hurriedly bowed down and said, "The minister obeys the order!" ”

Zhang Zizhong on the side said suddenly: "Your Majesty, is that going to blockade the Atlantic Ocean and completely ban the flow of oil from the Americas to Europe?" ”

Wang Chenhao looked at everyone, and everyone laughed in unison. Zhang Zizhong understood, and couldn't help laughing.

The debauchery laughter in the Qinzheng Hall is known to be internationally recognized as the most filthy laughter in history many years later, because these laughter delayed the process of the entire Second World War for several years, the wealth of Europe was ruthlessly plundered again, and the pockets of the Chinese Empire became bulging, and the direct consequence was that the average wealth level of the entire Western world was left behind by the Chinese Empire for 20 years.

For Germany, the loss of Romania's oil industry was only the beginning. The Anglo-French joint air force relied on the powerful Flying Fortress strategic bombers provided by the Chinese Empire, and since the air attack on Romania, Britain and France have been like stimulants, on the one hand, they will continue to import H6 strategic bombers from the Chinese Empire, and on the other hand, they will maintain a high-intensity and continuous bombing of the German mainland.

In less than a month, Germany "had been hit at least twice by air strikes on every major oil plant, as well as on more than 200 oil refineries, tens of thousands of storage facilities, and various liquid fuel plants." Most of Germany's huge war machines were halted due to lack of fuel supplies, which was undoubtedly a fatal blow to Germany.

In February 1940, Air Force Admiral Harris was appointed commander of the British bomber force, and as the commander of the bomber force, he made great achievements in the strategic bombing of Germany, and was called one of the best air force commanders in modern history. His idea of bombing operations was mainly to carry out thorough and concentrated bombing of large cities with urban bombing (area bombing), destroying various facilities and demoralizing the enemy citizens. He investigated the Luftwaffe bombing of Coventry on the night of 14-15 November 1939 and gained clear confidence in the amount of bombs and patterns of attack necessary to completely destroy a given area.

After March, the British Air Force's bombing method changed from attacking one target at a time to concentrating a large number of bombers to bomb a large area (city) in as short a period of time as possible. The initial target was the German city of Lübeck, which was as large as Coventry (a seaport at the western end of the Baltic Sea in northern Germany). The British called this method of bombing "area bombing", and it was used by the British Air Force from then until the end of World War II.

On the night of March 28, 1940, the British Air Force dispatched 200~300 H6 strategic bombers and dropped about 2,000 tons of white phosphorus incendiary bombs, blasting bombs and gasoline incendiary bombs on the city of Lübeck. On April 24~27, the city of Rostock was bombed in the same way. The effect of the bombardment was judged on the basis of aerial reconnaissance, and as General Harris had predicted, the destruction of the two cities and the casualties inflicted on the citizens were staggering compared to previous bombardments of German cities. But the British Air Force was prosecuted by the International Commission on Human Rights and charged with crimes against humanity because of the two bombings, which killed more than 600,000 civilians and left millions homeless.

But at this time, the League of Nations had already existed in name only, and the Chinese Empire was well aware that it could not stop the actions of the British Air Force, and refused to mention sensitive topics such as the bombers equipped by the British Air Force were made in China.

In Churchill's words, "If I win the war, crimes against humanity will become just actions to protect world peace, and if I lose, not only will there be crimes against humanity, but there will be more crimes on my head." ”

The victor is the prince and the loser is the thief, this is the law of human existence, and it can never be changed.

As a result, the British Air Force became even more unscrupulous.

On the night of 31 May, the British Air Force dispatched more than 1,000 bombers to bomb the city of Cologne, which was the beginning of a fierce strategic bombing of the German mainland. During the bombing that night, 430 H6 strategic bombers and 1,300 H5 tactical bombers were dispatched, dropping more than 10,000 tons of bombs in 90 minutes. In early June, the British Air Force launched 1,000 bombers to bomb the central cities of Essen and Bremen in the Ruhr region. Most of the other German cities and industrial areas were also subjected to large-scale area bombardment guided by the operational concept of area bombing.

During this period, the British Air Force learned from the Imperial Chinese Air Force the tactics of the large-scale bombing of the Romanian oil field, and for the first time adopted the combat method of "guiding" aircraft. The essence of this was to dispatch several pilot planes to fly in front of the large group of bombers, and to mark the bombing area with flares for the bombers. Thanks to this method of warfare, night bombing achieved extremely significant results.

In a few months, the British Air Force bombed the German mainland more than 1,000 times, including more than 17 bombs of more than 1,000 tons.

For the unscrupulousness of the British Air Force, the German Air Force retaliated by dispatching a large number of fighters to intercept it, but on the one hand, the most advanced fighters in service in Germany were inferior to the Chinese-made Jian-10 fighters equipped by the British and French Air Forces, and on the other hand, even if they broke through the blockade line of the Jian-10 fighters, it was difficult for German fighters to shoot down the H6 Aerial Fortress strategic bombers armed to the teeth.

During the months of bombing, the British and French air forces lost only 7 H6 bombers and 131 H5 bombers, although the British and French bombers of their own production were shot down the most, with losses of more than 2,000 bombers.

Due to the destruction of the Romanian oil area, the fuel consumption of the Luftwaffe had to be controlled, which to a large extent caused the Luftwaffe to dare not stay in the air for a long time, did not dare to pursue enemy aircraft, etc., resulting in the Luftwaffe falling into passivity, causing the British and French air forces to be unscrupulous and arrogant.

But the British Air Force was arrogant for only a few months, and soon the desperate Germany chose to give in to the Chinese Empire, Hitler strictly ordered Germany and the Allies to prohibit anyone from engaging in ** anti-Chinese activities in any way, and Germany handed over the only 700 tons of gold and 120,000 tons of silver reserves to the Chinese Empire as collateral in exchange for importing petroleum and petrochemical products from the Chinese Empire.

For Germany, the much-needed refined oil was quickly obtained from the Chinese Empire, and Germany's huge war machine was put in motion again. (To be continued.)
