3. Machinery Factory
Jogura's home is at the Wotif estate, not far from the Vienna Ring Street.
A lingering, a few clouds and rain.
Li Haiton felt ashamed of what he had just done, he was really a little ashamed, he was like a junior brother who had never experienced the love of men and women in bed, his movements were jerky and clumsy. He sat up from the bed, and to avoid embarrassment, he took a cigar from his pocket, lit it on the candlestick at the head of the table, and took a deep breath.
"Haydn, you're not the same as before?" Jogura leaned out of the quilt, her skin looking more and more delicate in the red candlelight. He gently rested his head against his chest, tilted his face, and blinked at him.
"Well, maybe I've been a little too busy lately, you know, I've been running around preparing for the construction of the machine factory, looking at the three funders I met at Count Wilger's house, and they didn't want to pay until they saw the real samples." Lehairdon shook his head, things weren't going very well.
"Well, I've heard a few too, and they're interested in your idea, don't worry, maybe I can get my machine shop to produce a sample for you." Jogura whispered, "I know a little bit about how to do business and how much you can invest now." β
"What?" Lehedon looked at Jogura with some confusion, what did she mean by this? It seems that his idea has come true. However, things don't seem to be as simple as he thinks, and Jogula doesn't seem to want to be a simple funder.
"It's very simple, I'm tired of the life of doing nothing now, and I want to take care of those factories, maybe it's fun to do business with you." Jogula raised his head slightly, and his lips pressed slightly into Leheldon's ear.
"That's a good idea." Li Haiton smiled and said, always feeling that something was wrong in it, he took two more puffs of cigarette before frowning and said, "You mean you are the boss?!" β
"Of course, my machine shop has a total value of more than 1.3 million crowns, and I don't think you have that much money." Jogura said.
"Oh, that's not a good idea, and if you don't have decision-making power, I think it's better to start from scratch." Lehedon spread his hands, he didn't want to do things under women, especially shrewd women.
"Okay, okay, how much can you invest?" Jogura sat up and said solemnly.
"300,000 kroner, plus some ideas to make money." Lehedon closed his eyes slightly, and the two white flesh on Jogula's chest shook dizzily.
"That's supposed to be a quarter, twenty-five percent of the shares." Jogura said that at the mention of money, she began to become quite calm.
"No way, I have to take at least seventy-five percent of the shares, and my ideas are at least half worth." Li Haidun raised his voice slightly, "I know that your machine factory doesn't seem to be doing well. β
So the two began to bargain naked, which can definitely be called "honest and relative", and there were fierce quarrels during the period. Eventually, the two were exhausted, and Heldon managed to convince Jogura to come to an agreement: the new partnership would each be 50 percent owned by each of them, and Heldon would have the final say on the new company, but he would need to bring in a profit of three million crowns for the new partnership within three years.
Then the two reconciled, and continued to turn clouds and rain in bed until they were exhausted......
The next day, Heldon arrived in Trieste by train with Chogula.
Trieste is located at the tip of the Gulf of Trieste, the northernmost point of the Adriatic Sea, and the city is one of the oldest Habsburg possessions, having been under Habsburg rule from 1382 to 1918. As the fourth largest city in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the capital of Istria, it was also the most important port city in the empire and the Mediterranean and the largest industrial and commercial center in the south.
Of course, it was one of only three naval bases in Austria-Hungary.
As early as 1857, the Austro-Hungarian Empire built the Southern Railway between Vienna and Trieste, and due to the convenient transportation, this port city has developed rapidly, and today it is a prosperous port city with a population of nearly 160,000, and the shipbuilding, machinery, metallurgy and textile industries are quite developed.
ISRAIA Maschinenbau is a small machine shop located near the wharf not far from the Austrian Mail Line. The factory has about 600 skilled workers who are proficient in operating various machine tools, mainly for the production of marine power plants, and also has a small shipyard of about 70 people.
Plasic, the manager of Israia's company, was stout, pot-bellied, and had an eye-catching bald and shiny head. Accompanied by him, Hirton walked around the factory and made a rough judgment of the situation of the whole factory: the whole factory had about 160 machine tools, and the main workshop was a two-story brick and wood building of about 800 square meters, powered by two steam boilers and 18 three-cylinder steam engines.
However, it was not these facilities that Lehaydon valued most, but the more than 600 skilled workers that Islea currently had, and it would have been impossible to train so many qualified operators without three or four years.
The manager, PlaΕ‘iΔ, is a Slovenian, skilled in business, quite proficient in metalworking technology, and is a good manager, but lacks business vision and innovative spirit. In the factory's modest reception room, Hirton gave a rough account of his plans, and Plasic quickly came up with his own plan for the retrofit: not much new equipment was needed, a set of hydraulic precision forging equipment, two high-precision boring machines and two high-precision broaching machines for rifling, and a set of bullet casting and stamping equipment.
"Why don't you use an electric motor as a power device?" Lehydon asked.
"Yes, the electric motor runs smoothly than the steam engine and is more conducive to improving the machining accuracy, but ......," Plasic shook his head, "we don't have that much money at the moment. β
Li Haiden paused slightly, and estimated in his mind the investment required to renovate the factory's electrical power, his own electrical company can produce electric motors, but it still needs to buy a set of power generation equipment, and the factory's boiler can still be useful. "I'll figure it out to me to rebuild the power facilities, but we need to recruit some firearms specialists, and that's something that Mr. Plasic needs to come into." He thought for a moment and then said.
"It shouldn't be a big problem, I know some of the gun owners in Trieste, and we can go to Steyrtown to recruit some gun designers and fabricators." According to Plasic, Austria has a high level of machining in Europe, with Linz, Prague, Vienna and Trieste at the same level of metalworking as any European country.
Later, Helton also went around the shipyards of the Islaia Company, and as a naval officer, he naturally had a keen interest in shipbuilding, but he gave up this unrealistic illusion. The Isterian shipyard is very small, with only two small wooden docks and two slipways, and can only build small sailing fishing boats with a displacement of no more than 250 tons and a few small short-distance cargo ships.
The problem is that he doesn't seem to be able to come up with even a fraction of the funds for the expansion of the shipyard now.
After signing a simple partnership agreement with Jogura, Helton was finally able to put his idea into action. Now he needed to produce a few satisfactory samples before Igar's gang could get new investment to expand the factory.
