In order to effectively guide the missile, the MiG-23 fighter was also unable to maneuver with a large overload, so it flew smoothly all the time. However, Belosvich sensed that something was wrong.

But now, the other side is diving, and when the radar of the carrier aircraft keeps turning downward, the echo suddenly becomes extremely chaotic and disruptive.

The radar beam had already hit the ground, and the undulating peaks kept reflecting the echoes, so the airborne radar immediately discovered that there were no more echoes, and it was not known which echo was the target.

Theoretically, the Sapphire-23ML radar has the ability to shoot downward, and it has a pulsed Doppler system. Pulse Doppler means that the target and the jammer have different radial velocities relative to the radar, and the echo signal also has different Doppler frequencies. In this way, the Doppler frequency spectral line of the target is selected by the frequency domain filtering method, and the spectral line of the interference clutter is filtered, so that the radar can separate and detect the target signal from the strong clutter. Such capabilities require high-performance computers to achieve, and the computers of the MiG-23 fighters cannot be effectively calculated.

The two targets disappeared from the radar screen, and the two R-23P missiles that had just been fired were even more unable to distinguish the targets from the clutter, so they both lost their targets and exploded in the air after flying for more than ten seconds.

If the R-23T missile has just been launched, the terminal guidance is using an infrared seeker, which may also hit the target, and now, because of the wrong missile selection, the MiG-23 fleet misses out on fighters.

The earth kept getting closer and closer, and even the little trees in the valley could be seen clearly, and Hussein held on, overcoming his fear, and continued to descend for two seconds before he jerked the lever back.
