The Buddha begins!

"It's not blasphemy against the Buddha, the Buddha should be grateful to the officials," Cui Xian replied in a low voice. She is smarter than Jiang Xing'er and thinks far, her husband's arrangement this time is not for the Buddha, but for various Buddhist disciples. Even if there is a Buddha, he will not blame.

But those Buddhist scriptures, Cui Xian had a headache when she thought about it.

These means of pretending to be gods and ghosts are auxiliary means, and whether they can distinguish between winning depends on how many Buddhist scriptures the husband can read during this time. It's not about memorizing, it's about understanding it.

Zheng Lang had already walked to this small high platform and sat calmly on the big Buddha character.

A monk was furious and rushed up and shouted, "What qualifications do you have to sit on it?" ”

"You're not a monk!"

Most monks agree with this sentence, but some senior monks who are proficient in Buddhist scriptures frown when they hear it. Sure enough, Zheng Lang said: "May I ask the monk, a child entered the temple, urinated urgently, and was about to pee under the Buddha statue, and a senior monk saw it and said loudly, you don't pee in a place where there is a Buddha." The child then asked, "Master, where there is no Buddha, I will pee in a place where there is no Buddha." Now I ask you, where is there no Buddha, where should I sit. ”

"Good, good," Zheng Lang just said, so that many monks have already put down the idea of preparing to distinguish the Buddha, and he declares goodness.

The monk was dumbfounded.

Zheng Lang said: "Su Bodhi, if Bodhi has the appearance of me, people, sentient beings, and longevity, it is not a bodhisattva. So what? Subodhi, there is no one who has the dharma to develop the three bodhichittas. ”

Saying that, he stood up, came to Yunruo, the abbot of Zhaoqing Temple, touched the old monk's head, and said: "Everyone says that you are a monk, but if you really think that you are a monk, then you are not a monk." ”

It's a Zen machine.

The above sentence is from the Diamond Sutra, which says that if a bodhisattva is attached to self and others, and all beings live a long life, he is not a true bodhisattva. Why? Subodhi, in fact, there is no such thing as a person who seeks supreme enlightenment.

It is difficult for ordinary people to understand, and in layman's terms, because the Bodhisattva is the same as the Buddha is ethereal, vast, everything is not attached, everything does not dwell, so the real Bodhisattva is a selfless, nobody, sentient beings, and lifeless. This is the basic doctrine of Buddhism, if you still covet the name of a high monk, how can you talk about it?

Yun Ruo's old monk Guang's brain was touched dozens of times by Zheng Lang, and he couldn't say anything.

And what he was most worried about in his heart was another thing, and there was another sentence above this sentence, which was that I should destroy all sentient beings, and I should destroy all sentient beings, and there is no one who has destroyed all sentient beings. That's why we have the following sentence. This is a very contradictory statement, I should destroy all sentient beings, but if I really destroy all sentient beings, then none of them will be truly destroyed. But if this sentence is really dissected, it will have a huge impact on the three-day Buddha discernment meeting.

Zheng Lang touched the old monk's head, it was very smooth and felt very good, but the people next to him were dumbfounded. Zheng Lang whispered again: "Old monk, yes, yes, it's the first time I've touched a big monk when I'm so big, and I'm still a monk's head." ”

"You!"

He whispered again: "Old monk, I didn't really destroy the Buddha, but I just returned the original appearance of Buddhism, what are you doing here to do in this troubled water?" With this curtain in the air, will you be able to discern victory? If Buddhism continues like this, will it be able to promote the true Dharma? ”

Zheng Lang sent someone to do a secret investigation in advance, this old monk is still good, usually coarse clothes and linen, deep and shallow, if you say that the real monk, there are not many people who can get into Zheng Lang's eyes, this Yun Ruo is one of them. Xing'er and Si'er also went to Zhaoqing Temple to burn incense, saw this old monk, and admired him very much. So Zheng Lang did the dotting.

"Don't you really want to destroy the Buddha?"

"What Buddha to destroy?" Zheng Lang suddenly said loudly: "The Buddha said that everyone has a Buddha surname, and everything is a Buddha. Why? The Buddha is the universe, and the Buddha is the supreme principle of the operation of the universe. The stone is the Buddha, the Buddha character on the high platform is the Buddha, you are the Buddha, I am the Buddha, Zoroastrianism is the Buddha, Confucianism is the Buddha, so the Diamond Sutra says that all the sages and saints are different from the Dharma by non-action. If I use Confucianism to understand the truth between heaven and earth, then I will also become a true Buddha. Of course, it's hard. I'm looking at the picture, and you're looking at the picture. But I don't deliberately seek to become a true Buddha, and I am already a step above you in terms of artistic conception. Go ahead, you are here today, at least delaying your practice for several years. If you continue to be obsessed, you will not be a monk immediately, and you will gradually enter the devil's path. ”

Yun Ruo's face was cloudy, and suddenly she said: "Good, good." ”

After reading it, he left without saying a word.

Many people were stunned, Yun Ruo was not as famous as Chongxian, but he was also a famous monk in Hangzhou, and he actually left because of Zheng Lang's few words, or let Zheng Lang touch his head.

Fu Bi sighed, looked at Zheng Lang returning to the high platform not far away, shook his head and said, "Zheng Xingzhi, are you enlightening the Demon Dao or the Buddha Dao?" ”

Xing'er opened her eyes wide and said in surprise: "Xian'er, did Zen Master Yunruo let the officials ignite?" ”

"Almost," Cui Xian pursed her little red lips and secretly laughed, her husband made a good start.

Zheng Lang sat cross-legged on the high platform again and said loudly: "The Buddha said that everyone is a Buddha, but there is a difference between whether there is enlightenment or not. I can sit here, you, him, can sit on the Buddha characters. Ladies and gentlemen, don't have any objections, if there are objections, let me ask another question, I am not a monk, and I am not a monk, but what is a layman? ”

Some monks' faces changed again, because they thought of a scripture.

Zheng Lang didn't expect them to answer, and said: "According to Confucian theory, a layman refers to a person who has virtue and ability but lives in seclusion or unofficial, but I am here today, I will not talk about Confucianism, if I follow this statement, I will not be able to be a layman." But I'm talking about the Dharma, so when I talk about Buddhist laymen, laypeople in Buddhism refer to those who practice Buddhism at home. So what can this layman do? I recite a passage of Buddha's teachings. At that time, there was an old man in the great city of Vijali, whose name was Vimalaya. He has made offerings to countless Buddhas and cultivated rare books; There is no patience, and there is no obstacle to debate; The game is supernatural, and the general is arrested; Gain fearlessness, subdue demons and grievances; Penetrate the deep method, be good at wisdom...... In this way, the elder Vimalaya, who asked the sick as he spoke, made thousands of people develop the three bodhichittas. ”

It is the second product in the Vimala Sutra.

The Vimala Sutra has a profound influence on national Buddhism, second only to the Diamond Sutra.

The first is that if a bodhisattva wants to attain a pure land, he should purify his mind, and if he purifies his heart, then the pure land will be pure. If you want to purify the society, you must purify people's hearts, only if people's hearts become beautiful, then the society will be beautiful, at least help the old lady who fell down Don't worry, this is more clever and more positive than the empty break proposed by the Buddha at the beginning.

The second strongly rebukes Hinayana for having compassion but not universal thinking, emphasizing universal compassion, benefiting the world, and caring for the world.

But this book of Buddhism is very long, a total of fourteen products, if you recite them all, it will take a long time, so Zheng Lang only memorized the second convenient product. Convenient parami is the seventh of the ten paramites. It is not a convenience to make way, it is a method of cultivating the Bodhisattva Path. The first is a performance by Shakyamuni Buddha, and the protagonist of this sutra appears in the second one. The Buddha is the head of the sect, and he must show his family body, and he can also practice as a layman at home to become a Buddha, which is the convenient method of Buddhism, so it is also called a convenient product.

The second product talks about how convenient it is for the Wei Demon Layman, and he is also rich in business, but he uses this property to help the poor, not for the Buddha, when he read this sentence, Zheng Lang deliberately bit the back. It was not enough, hearing that Zheng Lang was reading this scripture, Fu Bi was full of mouths, and the officials began to distribute the translation of this scripture.

The translation and annotation work was handed over to Sima Guang, because he wanted to show it to the common people, Zheng Lang asked Sima Guang to translate it into colloquialism, and the more plain the better. After the translation was completed, Zheng Lang personally revised it again. There are not only Vimala Sutras, but also Diamond Sutras and other books, each of which has 2,000 copies printed and distributed to the people free of charge. In short, for this Buddhist meeting, Zheng Lang spent thousands of times before and after.

The layman also has a wife and a child, but he often practices purity, has six relatives, but is not restrained by the world, dresses luxuriously, is known for his solemnity, and eats and drinks well, but he eats and drinks well, but he eats Zen Yue as food, and also involves foreign Taoism and world books, but he takes Buddhism as the authentic and also enters and exits the Qinglou, in order to warn the world of the fault of silver desire, and also drinks, and also visits the door, up to the palace nobles and down to the samurai people, but for what.

Zheng Lang was reciting, so that a group of rich and powerful bigwigs listened to it leisurely, such a layman is still good at cultivating Buddhism, he can drink, he can make friends with powerful people, he can remember, as long as he has a Buddha in his heart, he can become a Buddha in the future. Good, good, great, great!

This is the wisdom of the Vimala Sutra, the first is to facilitate the entry into the WTO, the second is secularization, holding the countless precepts of Buddhism is too hard to become a monk, it is not easy for ordinary people to do, affecting the popularization of Buddhism. So there was this Vimal monk.

Suddenly there was another sound of amazement from the people.

Then the people looked up at the giant mantle in the sky, and at this time, the giant mantle changed again as Zheng Lang began to preach, and there were countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas sitting on lotus seats. And the petals of the flower floated down from the great mantle, and fell to the high platform.

Seeing such a miraculous scene, more than half of the people fell down.

Fu Bi couldn't cry or laugh.

Zheng Lang was also covered with flower petals, but Zheng Lang was "solemn" and continued to recite, but the following paragraph did not memorize the scriptures, but lectured on the scriptures. At that time, when Vimal was sick, and he was thinking about it, wouldn't the compassionate World-Honored One send someone to visit me?

This paragraph is a transition for the rest of the story, but it's not very good. It's the same picture, and I have a thought! It is also the biggest flaw in this scripture. Zheng Lang did not want to completely defeat Buddhism, so he did not mention it. As soon as the lay monk had this thought, the Buddha knew about it, so he sent Sariputta, who was the first in wisdom, to visit the patient, and Sariputta said a big call, in short, his realm was too far away from the Vimal layman, and he was not qualified to visit the sick (again). He also sent one of the ten disciples, the Great Ka Ye, who was known for his asceticism, to visit the sick, but he was ashamed and did not dare to go. Then there are Subodhi, who is the first to liberate emptiness, who is the first disciple of enlightenment, Furunami Taranizi, who is good at righteousness, Mahakaljanyan, who is the first of the ten disciples of Discussion, Anaru, who is the first of the ten disciples of the Heavenly Eye, Upali, who is the first to hold the Vinaya, Rahula, who is the first in Tantra, and Ananda, who is the first cousin of the Buddha. They all shouted no. The Buddha had no choice but to invite the Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Guangyan Boy, Holding the World Bodhisattva, and Zi Shande, all shouting that virtue was not enough and could not be competent. In the end, I invited Manjushri, and Manjushri said that it was not easy to answer with the layman, but the Buddha asked, and I could only reluctantly make it difficult. So I went. When the Bodhisattvas, the Great Disciples, the Emperors, the Great Brahma, and the Four Heavenly Kings heard this, these two masters together would definitely have wonderful dialogues, so the eight thousand Bodhisattvas, the five hundred Arhats, and many celestial beings went with Wenxian Bodhisattva. Then the question and answer constitute the origin of this sutra.

It is still mentioned in the Diamond Sutra that the so-called Dharma is not the Dharma. A true Buddha does not think of himself as a Buddha, and a true saint does not think of himself as a saint, so the true Dharma is not the Dharma. If there is a concept of the Dharma, it is already a form.

Therefore, the Qing Dynasty Confucian Gu Tinglin said, ordinary people don't look at Buddhist scriptures, this thing is a bucket of water, one is full, one is empty, all at once upside down, all at once upside down, with the mountain like a mountain to metaphor, look at the mountain like a mountain, look at the mountain is not like a mountain, look at the mountain is still like a mountain, and then look at it is not like a mountain, it looks like a mountain, and so n cycles go on, it is the so-called Buddhist scripture. The more I watched, the more confused I became (at least one was called Fang Qing in the afternoon).

The Vimala Sutra is a step further than the Diamond Sutra, but compared to the so-called realm of Buddhism, the Vimala Sutra is inferior.

The reason why Zheng Lang said this paragraph is not to tell the story of this most powerful layman, but to reveal a truth, as long as he does what Vima layman does, no Bodhisattva, disciple, or Arhat is inferior to him. Why do you want to become a monk and make offerings to the monastery? Ladies and gentlemen, let's help the world! As long as you have this heart, even Maitreya Bodhisattva is not as good as you!

This kind of thinking is not for the temple?

After waiting for Zheng Lang to finish this paragraph, a great monk asked eagerly, "Master Zheng, do you have a Buddha in your heart?" ”

Even if you practice at home, if you don't have a Buddha in your heart, you can't be considered a layman, so you don't have the right to say such things.

It can also be said to be reasonable.

But everyone suddenly made an uproar again, and as the great monk finished asking, the pattern on the giant curtain changed again, and it became a hell, and a huge devil stood in the hell and laughed wildly, and there were a few poor ordinary people holding in the giant palms, these people were poorly dressed, and their faces were slightly vegetable, one by one struggling in the clutches, begging...... It's even worse.

As long as Zheng Lang was talking, the scene of the Buddha appeared on the giant mantle in the sky, and even flower petals were scattered, but when the monk interrogated, the petals disappeared immediately, and the giant mantle was replaced by a hell devil.

Many monks want to vomit blood.
