Zeng Tzu said that the way of the master is only loyalty and forgiveness.
It is certainly not loyalty to oneself, but it is very important loyalty and forgiveness, and here loyalty and forgiveness are made one.
Because these two words did not exist before, they did not appear until the Spring and Autumn Period, earlier than the Analects, Zhou Yu said, in the middle of the test, loyalty. Do what they are evil and abandon their loyalty. Serving people's hearts with one's own heart is loyalty. It's not the loyalty of a loyal minister! To do unto others what you would not have done to yourself is called disloyalty.
In the left biography, it is said that forgiveness is done, and Lourdes is also, and the scriptures of etiquette are also. King Huan of Zhou used the twelve cities and Zheng that he could not have, which was unforgiving. Forgiveness and loyalty here mean the same thing.
Therefore, Zeng Tzu said that loyalty and forgiveness are one.
Definitely not, including Confucius, did not seriously use three to distinguish the theorem of all things in the universe, but many aspects realize that this three, or in the middle, or benevolence and righteousness complement each other, and this complementarity is the middle, that is, the three.
It's just that before Zheng Lang appeared, no one had ever seriously thought about this three, or thought about it, and wouldn't think about it in such detail. But even if Zheng Lang did not appear, few descendants thought so. There was a man, a half-servant street writer.
Therefore, the Confucian self further evolved and perfected it.
The master said that I will save my body three times a day, and I will seek for others but not be loyal? Mencius said that if a gentleman is reflexive, I will be disloyal.
And the Master said that he forgives, and that he should not do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Meng also said that the prescription of benevolence is to forgive. There are many more examples, if you flip through the books of Master and Mencius Xunzi, you can find dozens of words of loyalty and forgiveness.
The difference also comes out, the so-called loyalty is internal, and forgiveness is external. Loyalty requires that you do your best in your heart and have a clear conscience, and forgiveness means that I love everyone, everyone loves me, and if you want everyone to love me, I must first love everyone.
Or one more point. Virtuous people. And there is no need for others, that is, the people often say that doing good deeds without leaving a name. Of course it's a good thing, close to the realm of a saint, but a few people can do it. The second is to be virtuous to people and to be used by people. There is also a kind of virtue for people, but for people. This will be hated by everyone, but there are many in real life. There is another situation that Confucius and Mencius did not say, that is, people are virtuous to me. Instead of repaying the favor, I went to harm this virtuous man.
One and four are opposed, and two and three are opposed.
But one and two are also opposites, and they depend on each other.
This is loyalty and forgiveness.
But this loyalty and forgiveness are not absolute, where is the virtue, where is it used?
Therefore, this Zhong many believe that it cannot exist. It actually exists, but it is mixed with a lot of forgiveness when it exists. And forgiveness is mixed with some loyalty. After all, compared to rewarding kindness, it is more clever to give grace first and then seek retribution.
Because no one systematically thinks that what was first loyal degenerates into loyal loyalty.
It is a mistake to think like this, the master said that the monarch and the minister are the father and the son, and the minister is the son and the servant. It can't be said that Lao Tzu is bad or poor, and the son will not raise the elderly, and the same is true for ministers. There is a master-slave relationship, so a true loyal subject does not expect anything from the king. will also honestly do things for the king, advise and advise, govern and save the people, and strengthen the country. This is called a loyal minister, or replaced by Fan Zhongyan's famous saying, wow! To taste the heart of the ancient benevolence, or the difference between the two, what is it? Don't be happy with things, don't be sad with yourself; The height of the temple is worried about the people; Far away from the rivers and lakes, you are worried about it. It is a worry about advancing and a worry about retreating. But when will it be? It must be said that "the worries of the world are worried, and the joy of the world is happy".
Fan Zhongyan was wrong, the heart of Gu Ren is not this heart, Gu Renren's heart is wider, but this is the heart of loyal ministers.
It can't be called loyalty, it's just the side of loyalty, the loyalty of loyal ministers, and loyalty to one's own heart, loyalty to friends, loyalty to people, and doing good deeds and virtues without asking for anything in return, which is true loyalty.
However, Master and Mencius obviously felt that this kind of loyalty could not be promoted, so they promoted more forgiveness, or the kind of virtue between loyalty and forgiveness, and did what they wanted, such as those who knew what they wanted, and then pushed what they wanted, as well as others.
But loyalty is not obedience, it is to establish righteousness and morality, and it is used for loyal ministers not to let ministers flatter the emperor, which is disloyalty, but ministers. A true loyal minister, if he doesn't think about his own officials, and the emperor doesn't do well, he has to be persuaded not to be afraid of the emperor's anger. Let the emperor be a good king and govern the country. Even if the emperor has his head cut off, he is not afraid, this is the real loyal minister.
So here's a big question, according to Zheng Lang's statement, what is Han Qi and Ouyang Xiu's behavior?

The Master often said, but this is also the Tao, and that is also the Tao, and he did not make it clear. So what is the Tao, I really can't say, because everything in the universe is too complex, who can explain it clearly. Ants have the way of ants, beasts have the way of beasts, and people have the way of people.
But the Tao is one, there is only one avenue, and the more saints you are, the closer you are to this path. For example, the loyalty and forgiveness of Confucianism, and then look at the Spring and Autumn Period of the Lu family, if you want to destroy it, you will be tired of it, and if you want to kick it, you will exalt it. The reason is almost the same, the miscellaneous family Lu Buwei is a businessman, and he is very utilitarian, so he does not talk about Deren, but says that it is tired of destruction and hesitation. There is also Lao Tzu's desire to be strong, to be weak, to be strong, to decline, to rejuvenate, to take away, to give. It is similar to the Confucian self-desire to establish people. Zhou Shu also said that if you want to defeat it, you will be assisted by it, and if you want to take it, you will be with it. When Han Feizi of the Legalist saw this sentence, he was happy to hunt his heart, and he also quoted it.
Why is there such a difference, Lao Tzu was born, so it is said that there is some accumulation, Confucius wants to enter the WTO, and he said it positively, there are several reasons, Lu Guoxiao, respect the Zhou room, and Lu Guo will be safe. Therefore, the master did not like war, so he faintly felt that there was benevolence and righteousness, and he talked more about benevolence and less about righteousness. Etiquette talks more about etiquette and humility, and less about war. Secondly, the master directly absorbed nutrition from the Zhou royal family, and learned royal etiquette, and no matter whether the Zhou royal family or Lu Guoqiang exercised the surrender of all the candidates in the world, he used more preaching.
This creates some incompleteness of the Master.
But the master also vaguely knew that it was useless to just preach, and wrote some righteousness, some prestige, and neutrality, but not much.
There is also karma in Buddhism.
and the original Diamond Sutra.
The Diamond Sutra rarely talks about karma, but mostly talks about self-control and self-cultivation of the mind. This temperance is for the sake of cultivating the Taoist heart, or for the forgiveness of Confucianism. There is also a more naked way to show that Shakyamuni's way is not rare in many treasures, as long as you read and preach this Buddhist scripture, you will accumulate great merit. Reading and preaching the meaning of Buddhist scriptures is the majority of Buddhism. Ask or forgive. Although Shakyamuni later felt this contradiction and covered it up with some specious words, why did he say it more than a dozen times?
So what is the Taoist heart, the actual Confucian benevolence is the foundation, righteousness is the moderation, the middle tone, and the etiquette is the law, which is already close to this kind of Taoist heart. Of course, it can't be regarded as a true Dao heart. Therefore, the master talked for most of the day. The more you go around, the more confused you become. Lao Tzu simply came to a sentence, mysterious and mysterious. Shakyamuni also simply said that all things have a way, such as a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such. It became a paradoxical emptiness.
They want to be saints, and Zheng Lang doesn't want to be saints.
So just get this right. You can get close to the so-called Dao Heart.
There is much help for the righteous, and little help for the unjust, which is in this. Instead of a benevolent god, don't look at anything else, when you see the Song Dynasty, you know what will happen to blind benevolence? He was benevolent to the Khitan, and he didn't go to war, but why did he still station more than 200,000 forbidden troops in Hedong, Hebei? Why did Qing Lishi let the Khitan blackmail him again?
Look at Western Xia again. not only rewarded him, but also gave him coins to help them quell the rebellion that did not hide the false Pang, how did Li Liangzuo repay him in the past two years?
There is also cochin. The same is true.
Benevolence, where are the hardcore friends?
Therefore, this kind of Mohist benevolence is not the Tao, the real Tao is this kind of middle. Benevolence is the mainstay, righteousness is the festival. Only benevolent people can be good people, can be evil, only benevolent people can love people, can be evil. It was not Zheng Lang who said it, but the words in the Book of Rites.
A slap in the face, put up with it, and persuade it. The second slap struck, and then persuaded and warned. The third slap is coming, can you still bear it? Fuck it.
This is the true benevolence and righteousness, love and moderation, and the true Tao. This point was better than that of the Song Dynasty in the early Tang Dynasty, focusing on benevolence, and never rejecting Fanbang, but if it was not satisfied, the cattle people would use the weapons of the elite soldiers. Therefore, all nations came to court, and once the white race in the mountains of the Caucasus, as well as the Yi people in Kamchatka, came from thousands of miles to the court. Look at the present, if it weren't for the peace prison, even the Wa Kingdom would not have sent an envoy to the Song Dynasty to congratulate him. came, a few wild monks, or widows who came to borrow seeds.

Otherwise, if it continues, Xiaofei will become more and more rampant, and Wa Guo, Lao Mei and Ah San think that Xiaofei can ride on their heads, and they will become more and more bold. In the end, it is not weakness in exchange for peace, but in exchange for big wars and special operations, which can even be divided.
