Chapter 434: Three Sights Stalin

By June 1943, the Soviet Union had largely completed its military preparations for a "possible" full-scale invasion. They built a large number of fortified lines about fifty kilometers behind the border between the Soviet-German-controlled zone (mostly the former Polish region) (which was the military zone agreed between the two sides) - the same happened to Germany, and despite the non-aggression pact, both the Soviets and Germans were afraid of wolves, and both built a large number of fortified defenses in their own zones of control 100 kilometers apart.

While the French rout in the Battle of France proved the uselessness of the transmission line, the traditional fortified defense line was not completely useless. Building strong forts at key communication points is an important weapon for delaying an opponent's large group of armored assaults.

Over the past two years, under Stalin's iron fist, the Soviet Union has also desperately accelerated the pace of modernization and armoring of the army. Mass production of the new T34 began in early 1941, and in the two and a half years leading to Stalin's visit to China in June 1943, Stalin built 5,000 T34s, all of which were T34-76 with 76 mm guns.

During this period, Stalin received information that the newly developed German Leopard Tank No. 4 used an 88-mm tank gun, but the Soviet Red Army did not upgrade the T34 to an 85 gun, mainly due to the existence of another Soviet tank of the same era, the KV. The designer of the KV tank, Kotin, had a much larger backstage than the designer of the T34. Historically, in the competition to equip the Soviet Red Army, Kotin used his connections to create obstacles for the T34 tank, and even made the T34 almost unable to equip the troops normally - if it weren't for Stalin's appreciation of the mobile and agile T34 during the review, this tank would have been removed from the Soviet Union's armored corps.

After the outbreak of the Soviet-German war, the T34's excellent performance on the battlefield won praise from the Soviet Red Army, and although the bulky KV had some miraculous results with its thick skin and rough flesh, its poor mobility and overly bulky stature. It also won a bunch of bad reviews in the war. For example, the biggest bad comment is that a certain Soviet general said: When tanks are needed on the front line, we only see the T34 charging at the front line, and what is the KV doing? They also crushed roads and bridges in the rear.

Historically, the T34 tank's biggest enemy in the USSR was precisely Kotin, the developer of the KV tank. This plane has no actual test and demonstration. The armament of the T34 was greatly disturbed. Kejing relied on his own people in the court to grab a large number of orders that originally belonged to T34 through his connections, and suppressed the output of T34 as much as possible. In the current Soviet Red Army, the number of KV tanks in the series is as high as 8,000 units. Its models ranged from the KV1 with 76 guns to the KV2 with 152 guns (nicknamed Walking Latrine), and later, after learning that the German No. 4 tank was equipped with 88 guns, Kotin developed the KV-85, which was equipped with an 85 mm cannon. And the KV-85, the opponent of the fourth tank, the Soviet Red Army produced nearly six thousand units.

(Note: The number of main tanks in the USSR in peacetime.) I refer to the historical number of 13,000 Soviet tanks after the end of World War II. Considering Stalin's cautious mentality, after the end of World War II, he only retained this value, which should be the maximum number of tanks and equipment that the Soviet Red Army could withstand in a non-wartime state.)

And before Stalin's visit to China again, the Soviet side had developed the KV-100, armed with 100 guns, and was currently being tested. And the Kharkov Comintern plant, which developed the T34, is more tragic. Since there is no one in the DPRK and China, there is no war to test itself. This type of tank was regarded as a "low-end cargo" in the Soviet Red Army. Although the technicians of the Kharkov plant managed to develop the T34-85 on their own, they were blocked by Kotin with their connections, and they were never approved for mass production except for the prototype.

In addition to these new tanks, the Soviet Red Army also retained more than 20,000 light tanks such as the T26, BT5, and BT7. As far as the number of armored forces is concerned, Stalin, after two years of peaceful construction, successfully completed the replacement of the Soviet armored forces.

On the Air Force, however, the refitting from biplanes to monoplanes was also completed, and the aircraft of the MiG-3 and Yak series, which were the main ones, were heavily equipped with the Soviet Red Army. In terms of aircraft performance, although it is inferior to the current HE151 and TA152 of the Luftwaffe (the TA152 in this plane is an air-cooled engine), it has an absolute advantage in numbers.

By May 1943, the complacent Stalin was not afraid of the outbreak of the Soviet-German war. He was shrewd at this time and still didn't want to easily start a war with Germany to cheapen a third party, but his good mood became bad overnight because of the sudden lifting of the lid on the "divine envoys".

Stalin's sense of crisis was similar to that of President Dewey.

When he heard these news, he felt as if he was playing instigation, and finally got his hands on a bomb, and was proud, but the opposite (Germany) suddenly turned out a straight flush, not to mention how awkward it was.

At the beginning of June, after learning that there were so-called "divine envoys" in Britain and Germany, Stalin wanted to ask China what was going on.

The Soviet Union had some spies in Britain and Germany, and through these spies, he successively obtained some information related to the "divine envoys." Some of these messages were specially revealed by the German side to mislead Stalin. According to these messages, the truth of Stalin and Chi, the so-called divine envoys or Japanese gods, is that "a nation with a long history, when it is on the verge of extinction, the will of all its people, under certain special conditions, on a special parasite, will finally give birth to a superhuman being." Such an existence has only one purpose, and that is to guide one's country into the darkest abyss. ”

This statement is the most favorable statement made up by Lin Han, and compared with the real answer, it is only a difference between nine truths and one falsehood. The secular power of both the Japanese, the Germans, and the British was convinced after hearing this statement.

Hannah appeared before President Hindenburg at a time when the German economy was at its worst and on the verge of bankruptcy.

Li Huamei's appearance in front of the emperor was also a fiasco in Japan's war of aggression against China, and the country was on the verge of an unprecedented crisis.

Even for Britain, it was the destruction of the British Grand Fleet, and the colonies of the world were facing the tragic situation of the division of various countries.

The three of them appeared in front of the high-level leaders of various countries as "saviors" when the country was at its most important.

In the past, he did not know, but after the lid was lifted by the governments of the three countries, Stalin, who was "late aware", had now recalled the important role of the ship's spirit in the war, that is, the terrifying battlefield surveillance capability.

In the Chinese War of 1935~1936, the Soviet Union also participated, and the Soviet Air Force, which participated in the war at that time, tasted the sweetness of one-way transparency in the air combat battlefield. And the ground heavy artillery units have also tasted the sweetness of knowing the enemy's movements at any time. The Japanese landing force lost nearly 30,000 men on the beachhead in Shanghai, more than two-thirds of which were due to the success of aircraft and heavy artillery under the guidance of the ship's spirit. As for the later wars in Europe, not to mention the miraculous performance of the German Navy in the Atlantic.

In a sense, this superhuman "crystallization of national will" can be said to be second only to the existence of a strategic weapon second only to a nuclear bomb.

According to the British and German figures, the Soviet Union was no better than the United States, a "mongrel" country with a history of only more than 200 years, and he should have had the opportunity to give birth to a similar existence, but the Soviet Union did not have such a thing, at least not at present.

With Stalin's shrewdness, it was easy to guess that the best person to ask to unravel this mystery was Lin Han, the "non-human traverser" he had met and who was also "sure" the "crystallization of China's will".

In June, Stalin contacted China by telegram to inquire about the matter. After some collusion between the two sides in the special line, on 15 July, Stalin personally flew to Beijing, China, where he stayed for a day and had a brief exchange and discussion with the upper echelons of the Chinese Communists, and then he arrived in Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao, on 17 July to meet the so-called "crystallization of China's will."

The place where Stalin and Lin Han met was on the yacht on which Lin Han first lodged his spirit, the Sephiroth. During the War of Liberation in 1935, the yacht was temporarily converted into a torpedo boat and renamed the Nanchang, which successfully attacked the Japanese fleet, sinking a destroyer and sinking the armored cruiser Izumo.

Soon after the end of the war, it was changed back to the function of a yacht, and then it was parked in the Qinhuang River for a long time, and was used as a yacht to receive foreign guests and leaders during special periods, and was used to receive "model workers" from all over the country on vacation in peacetime.

The first Sino-Soviet and German talks in Kiel were also on this yacht.

After Stalin boarded the yacht renamed "Liberation", Stalin took his assistant and Stalin's secretly appointed successor, Malenkov, and the successor of the third generation, Anrepov, to the top three of the CCP: Li Runshi, Wang Jiaxiang, and Comrade Wu Hao.

When the six people sat down, Lin Han materialized in front of the six people out of thin air. Stalin and his entourage were originally here for Lin Han and the so-called "Soviet crystal", or "Russian crystal". When they were in Beijing, they had already explained their intentions to the Chinese upper echelons, and the Chinese side, who understood their intentions, led them to this summer resort in Beidaihe to meet Lin Han's yacht.

After the meeting in the Gulf of Finland, it was time for Linhan and Stalin to meet again for a showdown. This is also the third time that Lin Han and Stalin have met. (To be continued......)
