Of course, this is also because the blast furnace equipment and converter equipment are too large, too many related equipment, and occupy too much tonnage.

However, the power consumption of the electric furnace is too large, and more power stations need to be built, and the production capacity of the electric furnace is far less than that of the converter, but the quality of the steel production is better.

In Li Yongji's current situation that only ordinary or even inferior steel is needed, it is a bit too wasteful to use an electric furnace, and it is more suitable for converter and blast furnace.

Moreover, the mode of blast furnace and electric furnace is also conducive to their own scientific research team to explore and copy, how to say that the process can still be touched, can not copy the big one, copy the small one can always be. But the electric furnace is different, if other related technologies can't reach this thing, such as no electricity, it can't be copied at all, so whether it is from the perspective of cost performance or cottage, it is more suitable for blast furnace plus converter.
