According to the report of the new commander of Army Group Kolkata, Lieutenant General Vaduddin (the Soviet Union reformed the military rank system in mid-September), among the Indian Red Army officers and soldiers who retreated into the city in the Kolkata cluster. Three-quarters of them are bare-handed! Moreover, the structure is completely chaotic, most of the officers and political cadres have been sacrificed, and the three group armies have no value in rebuilding. As for the original defenders in Calcutta, the situation was much better, due to the most difficult moment of the Battle of the Bay of Bengal in Blyukher. The five Indian Army Group in the city of Calcutta were still not sent into battle. As a result, these units were largely intact, with only minor losses in the air raids.

Another important city near the Bay of Bengal, Dhaka, at this time also concentrated a large number of units of the Indian Red Army. They were mainly troops withdrawn from the Imphal front, and there were 6 group army numbers alone, as many as 34 divisional numbers, and a total strength of no less than 250,000 troops. It's just that successive defeats have left their morale extremely low.

Deployed by Blyukher, on the southern slopes of the Himalayas on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, were the Nepal Army, the Snow Mountain Army, the Western People's Army and the Indochinese Liberation Army of the Indian Red Army. These troops were basically playing soy sauce in previous Himalayan campaigns. Therefore, the losses were not severe, but the heavy weapons assigned to them were all drawn to replenish other Indian troops. However, the southern slopes of the Himalayas they are defending now have difficult terrain and dense vegetation, which is not suitable for Chinese heavy troops to enter and exit.

And there is no sign of attacking the area on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, and they are concentrating their efforts on sweeping the plains of Bengal, destroying the Indian GCD regime there, and helping the East Indies to establish a theocratic rule in the rural areas that controls the people no less than the Indian regime!

This act of greening Bengal seems to have hit the dead end of India's GCD, and within the headquarters of the Northeast Front of the Indian Red Army in Patna, there has been a fierce debate over different views on "greening", and the voice is becoming louder.
