767th Invasion of India XII Is there still a monthly pass?

“…… September 1935 was undoubtedly a very, very difficult time for us, and the beginning of an even more severe and difficult period! This difficult period is known to the Indian folklore as the 'Three Years of Food Hardship'. But I don't agree with this statement, because in those three years, we experienced so many difficulties that those of us who experienced it firsthand will be shocked to break out in a cold sweat when we look back twenty or thirty years later. And the food shortage is only one of all, and it is not the greatest......

Let's not talk about the difficulties of those three years, but let's talk about the situation in late September 1935. At that time, we had just lost three important battles - the Himalayan Campaign, the Imphal Campaign, and the Bay of Bengal Campaign. The Indian Red Army suffered its greatest setback since its creation. In these three failed battles, my Northeast Front lost more than 800,000 men, and more than 50% of its artillery and countless guns, ammunition, and baggage supplies were also left on the battlefield. Large swathes of the Bengal and Naga regions were lost, and the East Indies Y-Slan traitors also took the opportunity to expand their power, and the grassroots organizations of the Indian GCD in the Bengal and Naga regions were severely destroyed. The remnants of the Northeast Front's troops, of less than 1 million, were scattered across the two isolated cities of Dhaka Kolkata, the southern slopes of the Himalayas, Bihar and eastern Odisha. Moreover, an atmosphere of pessimism and disappointment permeated the whole army, including Comrade Pavlov, who had just been transferred to the post of chief of the General Staff of the Indian Red Army, who had also lost confidence in the northeast battlefield of India, and at the beginning of his tenure actually opposed organizing forces to reinforce the northeast battlefield of India on a large scale, because he believed that the situation in the northeast battlefield of India had been eroded to the point of irretrievability!

It was under these circumstances that Comrade Apanashchenko and I took over as military and political commissioners and commanders of the Northeast Front. - The above is an excerpt from Comrade Charya's memoir "Written Before the Second World Revolution" (aka "The Beginning of the Failed World Revolution").

The headquarters of the Northeast Front of the Indian Red Army in Patna had just opened. In a complete panic and quarrel, several commanders of the command of the Northeast Front and Pavlov, who had arrived in Patna by plane immediately after taking over as Chief of the General Staff of the Indian Red Army, stood in front of the map in the war room. Urgent telegrams and telephones were sent in everywhere. A group army with two reinforced infantry divisions in the direction of Imphal had completely lost contact, and in their last telegram it reported that "the Chinese army has attacked near the headquarters of the group army, and the final battle is coming".

And the situation of the three armies resisting the northward advance of the Chinese army in the Bay of Bengal was not much better, and the army of 17 divisions was scattered by the armored assault of the Chinese army. There were hundreds of tanks running over the ground, and hundreds of planes chasing after them in the sky. The troops who finally fled back to Calcutta don't know if there was a single percent? As for heavy weapons and baggage, of course, they were all abandoned.

According to the report of the new commander of Army Group Kolkata, Lieutenant General Vaduddin (the Soviet Union reformed the military rank system in mid-September), among the Indian Red Army officers and soldiers who retreated into the city in the Kolkata cluster. Three-quarters of them are bare-handed! Moreover, the structure is completely chaotic, most of the officers and political cadres have been sacrificed, and the three group armies have no value in rebuilding. As for the original defenders in Calcutta, the situation was much better, due to the most difficult moment of the Battle of the Bay of Bengal in Blyukher. The five Indian Army Group in the city of Calcutta were still not sent into battle. As a result, these units were largely intact, with only minor losses in the air raids.

Another important city near the Bay of Bengal, Dhaka, at this time also concentrated a large number of units of the Indian Red Army. They were mainly troops withdrawn from the Imphal front, and there were 6 group army numbers alone, as many as 34 divisional numbers, and a total strength of no less than 250,000 troops. It's just that successive defeats have left their morale extremely low.

Deployed by Blyukher, on the southern slopes of the Himalayas on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, were the Nepal Army, the Snow Mountain Army, the Western People's Army and the Indochinese Liberation Army of the Indian Red Army. These troops were basically playing soy sauce in previous Himalayan campaigns. Therefore, the losses were not severe, but the heavy weapons assigned to them were all drawn to replenish other Indian troops. However, the southern slopes of the Himalayas they are defending now have difficult terrain and dense vegetation, which is not suitable for Chinese heavy troops to enter and exit.

And there is no sign of attacking the area on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, and they are concentrating their efforts on sweeping the plains of Bengal, destroying the Indian GCD regime there, and helping the East Indies to establish a theocratic rule in the rural areas that controls the people no less than the Indian regime!

This act of greening Bengal seems to have hit the dead end of India's GCD, and within the headquarters of the Northeast Front of the Indian Red Army in Patna, there has been a fierce debate over different views on "greening", and the voice is becoming louder.

“…… Now it is necessary to send more troops to the Bengal region! Comrade Blyukhel's original plan did not work. What Allah is doing now has caused serious damage to the local organization of our GCD in India. There are many Mismlins in Bangladesh, and we have not completely reformed their thinking, and if Allah is allowed to gain a foothold in Bangladesh, these people will soon follow Allah. With the Muslin in Bangladesh as a mass base, Allah's heel will stand firm, and then our guerrillas will simply not be able to gain a foothold in the Bengal plains! Bangladesh will be separated from India forever! ”

It was Charia who spoke, and the eldest son of Comrade Lu Yi now seemed to be ten years old all of a sudden, and his whole body was haggard. The several setbacks suffered by the Indian Northeast Front were clearly devastating to him, and with Bengal being his hometown, he knew more about the situation there than a few Soviets in the command. Before the British imperialist conquest of India, Bengal and most of India were ruled by Muslin. So to speak. Before the advent of Western imperialism, the main content of political life in India was the struggle between the Hindu forces and the Slavic forces! Bangladesh, on the other hand, has been one of the regions where Hinduism and Yaslanism have fought the most.

However, there is no sectarian conflict in Bangladesh today, because the Hindu GCD has taken harsh repression against both Hinduism and Yaslanism after the liberation of the region. The upper echelons of both sects either fled or were eliminated. But Chalya knew that religions like Hinduism and Yaslanism, which had been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people for thousands of years, could never be completely eradicated from the soil of India in just a few years. It will take generations to achieve complete victory, but now the Slavs, with the support of Chinese imperialism, have begun to re-establish their rule in Bengal...... And before that, the Indian GCD completely eradicated the Hindu forces in Bangladesh! Although the Mslin in Bangladesh was also suppressed, after all, the Mslinism is an international religion with foreign aid, even if it kills all the great imams in India. The caliph of Egypt would send new imams all the time. Hinduism, on the other hand, is a native religion, and it also talks about caste, and the Brahmin caste is gone.

So. Isn't the revolutionary action of the Indian GCD to eradicate the Brahmins tantamount to opening the door to the greening of India by the Slavic religion?

"What is needed now is a counteroffensive to drive the Chinese invaders off Indian soil!" Chalia's tone is so fierce and his attitude is so unkind. He did not care in the slightest about the feelings of Pavlov, who opposed the reinforcement of troops in the northeastern theater of India.

"Now we still have more than 60 divisions of 11 armies in Kolkata and Dhaka, with a total strength of more than 550,000 troops. If you add it on the spot. It is still possible to raise an army of 700,000. And the enemy, even if he had an advantage in Bengal, did not dare to defend Kolkata and Dhaka, but only sent troops to monitor. This shows that their troops are insufficient, and we only need to draw large troops from central and western India to fight a decisive battle against the Chinese invaders in Bengal with an absolute superiority! This is a decisive battle that has a bearing on the victory or defeat of India's War of Resistance against China and the success or failure of the world revolution! This battle must be fought, and it must be won! ”

"What if you can't win?"

"The people's army armed with Marxist Luyi Thought is invincible!"

"Comrade Chalya, the Indian Red Army, armed with Marxism and Ruyi thought, has just been defeated in the Himalayan Campaign, the Bay of Bengal Campaign and the Imphal Campaign! In these three failed battles, we lost at least 800,000 troops, more than 1,000 artillery pieces and a large amount of military supplies. Now the Northeast Front still has 1 million troops. But there were less than four hundred suppressed guns, not a single aircraft and not a single tank armored vehicle. Ammunition reserves have also been reduced to a dangerous level. It's simply not enough to deal with a conference battle. The squadron has at least 12 armies in northeast India, including two armored cavalry corps, an estimated 2,000 or 3,000 suppressed artillery, more than 1,500 tanks and self-propelled guns, and more than 1,000 aircraft, and their powerful Western fleet in the Bay of Bengal. And a large number of Allah party troops from the fallen Soviet Central Asia are coming...... What's more serious is that India's land communication with the Soviet Union is facing the serious threat of the Chinese and German air forces, and the Belochistan corridor is full of Chinese and German bombers, and now for every ton of military supplies transported to India, more than a ton of materials are blown up by planes during transportation, and a large number of Indian and Persian former migrant workers have been killed, so every ton of materials transported to India is extremely valuable and must be used sparingly! ”

"Now is not the time to save supplies! Comrade Pavlov, don't you understand at all? If we don't hurry up and counterattack to recapture the northeastern part of India. Then it won't be long before Allah will gain a foothold there, and the Erslanism will rule tens of millions of Indians in Bengal! That's tens of millions of people, and millions of troops can be mobilized...... The Chinese will not be as stingy with weapons preparation as you, they will send 150,000 tons or even 200,000 tons of supplies to Allah every month! They will also send a large number of planes, tanks and artillery to help in the battle. They will use Indians to kill Indians, just like British imperialism did in the first place! At that time, there will be no 800,000 Indians a month to support the world revolution, and we will even have to mobilize troops from the Middle East to return home to fight! ”

Now Pavlov has nothing to say, because Comrade Charia is right in what he said. The situation now is indeed beyond Blyukhel's original expectations, although he was a brilliant military strategist. But it's not a political family. And as an atheist, he was very contemptuous of the power of religion. I have never thought that any religious thought can compete with the cosmic truth of Marxism. So he would never have thought that the grassroots organization of the Indian GCD in Bangladesh could not resist the destruction of Allah!

In fact, it was also the Indian GCD that had bad luck. This time they met Allah, which imitated the Soviet GCD in terms of organizational system and followed the extreme fundamentalist line in religious ideology. If it is replaced by the moderate "semi-Hindu" Indian Musling forces, I am afraid that it is really no match for the Indian GCD. Of course, the previous destructive blow of the Indian GCD to the Hindu forces in Bangladesh did clear the way for Allah to green Bangladesh, otherwise the sectarian conflict alone would be enough for Allah, an outsider, to drink a pot.

Apanashchenko, commander of the Indian Northeast Front, spoke at this time: "Comrade Pavlov, Comrade Carya. There is some truth in your arguments. However, the question of whether or not to wage a general decisive battle with Chinese imperialism in the Bengal region is a matter of the general military line, and I do not think it is up to our Front Command to decide. Therefore, I propose to report both opinions to the General Headquarters at the same time, and ask Comrade Lu Yi to adjudicate it! Before that. The areas on the north bank of the Kolkata, Dhaka and Brahmaputra rivers must be defended, and the formation of guerrilla units in the occupied areas of Bengal should be accelerated, while at the same time doing everything possible to support the Indochinese Liberation Army guerrillas in Burma and strive to disrupt the enemy's rear. ”

"I agree with Comrade Apanashchenko's proposal." Carya loudly agreed. He looked at Pavlov and said, "Comrade Pavlov." As the chief of the General Staff, please personally report the two different opinions to Comrade Lu Yi and ask him to make a decision. ”

Pavlov sighed in his heart and nodded slightly. What Comrade Lu Yi's decision will be, he can figure it out even with his heels. It seems that the arrangements made before Blyucher's departure have been completely lost, and a decisive battle to determine the fate of the revolution in India and the world will soon be fought in Bengala. But where can he, the chief of the General Staff of the Indian Red Army, draw enough troops to Apanashchenko and Carya to fight this hopeless Armageddon? The number of the Red Army in India was quite large. Excluding the international columns supporting the Soviet Union, the Indian Red Army had more than 10 million troops on its books. In terms of numbers, it is comparable to the Chinese Defense Forces. However, more than 3 million of them are deployed in the Middle East, and the remaining 6 million or so Red Army troops remaining in the country are not all field troops, but are "public security forces" with a large number of logistical and local garrisons to maintain order, and less than 4 million can really be pulled out for field battles. Of these, 1 million are already in the northeast of India, 700,000 troops are placed on the east and west coasts of the Indian peninsula, there is a 400,000-strong army group in the Sindh and Belochistan regions, and 1.5 million troops in the northwest of India. These troops that must not be transferred add up to 3.6 million, and the remaining less than 400,000 people are divided into 5 group armies, which is the "mobile force" in the hands of the General Staff of the Indian Red Army, even if they are all given to the Northeast Front, it is probably not enough to fight a decisive battle against the Bengal region, right?

However, Pavlov could not have imagined that the problem of insufficient troops, which had troubled him, would be solved on the day he returned to Delhi.

"What? Comrade Borodin, are you telling the truth? "At the airport outside Delhi, Pavlov, who had just stepped down the gangway, heard a ......... It should be mixed news, right?

The reason for this mixed news is that this news is definitely sad for the Soviet Union, but for the People's Republic of India at the moment, it is good news.

"The news is very certain, it was sent by the high command in Moscow." Borodin's face was very gloomy, and he nodded: "The Chinese have launched an attack in Central Asia and Eastern Siberia!" I really didn't expect them to attack at this time. ”

Pavlov lamented: "The timing they chose was good, although now it is almost autumn in Siberia and the weather in Central Asia is starting to cool...... But this is also the time when we take it most lightly, and the battle on the Western Front is very fierce, and the troops in Siberia and Central Asia must have been transferred to the west in large quantities. They attacked at this time, paying the least price, but gaining the most. He thought for a moment and said, "They can't take the Krasnoyarsk fortress, but they are likely to surround it...... The main trouble may be in the south of Central Asia, maybe they will advance all the way to the Caspian coast! So that the big oil fields of Baku and Grozny are within the combat radius of the Chinese bombers! But......" he paused and added, "but this is a rare opportunity for the Indian Red Army. ”

"Opportunity?" Borodin was stunned for a moment.

"It's an opportunity, as soon as the Chinese move in Central Asia, they will not attack Afghanistan and Kashmir, so that our use of forces will be much more relaxed."
