At a time when the people of Czechoslovakia had not yet recovered from the euphoria of Dubcek's rehabilitation and return to power, another bombshell blew them up.

This kind of compliment is naturally fueled and distorted by Western values, and some things do not mean that they do not exist, that is, during Havel's tenure, Czechoslovakia was officially separated, and the Czech economy officially fell from a competitive industrial power to a second-rate power in Europe.

Havel pointed out that the more people completely abandon the hope of comprehensive reform, the more they are no longer interested in transcending their personal goals and values, and give up the opportunity to exert influence "outward", the more they will turn their energies to the areas of least resistance, practice their "internal skills" in a big way, and devote their minds to the family and the home. They renovated their homes, bought villas, bought cars, and they enjoyed the freedom to buy washing machines and refrigerators of one brand or another, but they did not have the freedom to share in economic decision-making, participate in political life, and display their talents. People think of the helpless alternative to real life as human life. The means employed by those in power against these self-preserving creatures are effective, and they choose the most effortless path, but completely ignore the price they have to pay - the gross trampling of personality and the ruthless emasculation of dignity.

Qi Yiming, as a researcher of communist theory, naturally has extensive knowledge and research on Havel's remarks, and there is no doubt that many people feel very instigated by his remarks when they see him, and they also think that they are wise sayings, and it is not surprising that many GZJYs will respect him so much. But Qi Yiming didn't think that Javier was completely right.

Try the combination of traditional Chinese philosophical concepts and redism to refute Havel's views. First, Havel argues that social stability is a sham, that people are afraid to rebel against the government because of fear, that they are more immersed in the choices of their personal lives, and that they selectively forget about greater political power. This in itself is extremely wishful thinking, and the high degree of division of labor is a typical feature of social functionalism after entering modern society. If everybody had the right to choose their own profession, it would be nice to choose to be a painter or a playwright, or to choose prostitution or adult films.

This is not to say that everyone should abide by the career plans set by others, but that there can be no personal autonomy in the absolute sense. Just like the Czech Republic in later generations, a large number of women chose to engage in the adult industry, which in itself is a violation of women's rights and a harm to the country's economy and industry, but this is their freedom, and letting their freedom is harmful to the country and society.

Furthermore, the right of citizens to participate in politics is very good and magnificent, but can it really be achieved that all people enjoy power? Can you be sure that you won't become the same imaginary masters and rich people as Javier will end up grabbing benefits through such power? The continuous privatization of Czechoslovakia has created a large number of wealthy people, which is definitely not a fair thing, but Havel and other politicians have shy faces and shouted that private property is sacrosanct.

Another example, in a political system like the United States, after 911, the people need a cathartic outlet for revenge, so some people follow the push and launch two wars on terror through public opinion, and see what the end will be, the United States spends a lot of money, and after the economic crisis, it begins to be challenged by China, and the people who really pay for this sunk cost are pushed by politicians to the whole people, and then there is no one to blame, because the people support the government to start the war. If the people are wrong, they will be wrong, it doesn't matter.

So, those who are shouting all kinds of great slogans, are you really sure that this noble thing you are pursuing can lead to a happy ending?

In Qi Yiming's view, a guy like Havel is nothing more than a detachment from reality who is good at organizing words, rich in logic and some knowledge, although not all intellectuals have this virtue, but many people are shouting for the benefit of the people, but they don't care about the people at all. Their greatness only exists in their own hearts, and they do not really stand among the people.

Humanism, personality, and human dignity are all worthy of respect and protection, but overemphasizing these things ignores the material basis for establishing them, and ensuring that these are not out of line and has the opposite effect.

There is no doubt that socialism needs more reforms to keep progressing in order to move to a higher level of civilization. For example, we should strengthen the construction of political style, such as improving the smoothness of the people's reasonable demands, and using the system more flexibly to solve problems. It is still necessary to return to the combination of traditional Chinese culture and red doctrine, and it is necessary to grasp it to an appropriate degree.

In other words, Qi Yiming's dislike for Javier is actually not necessarily related to Jakesh and Javier. Javier's position meant that Jakesh had to take Javier out.

Different from the previous pattern of directly arresting people and then locking them up, the Czechoslovak authorities used the propaganda position to broadcast and disseminate evidence of Havel's collusion with the US CIA and other institutions and the acceptance of huge bribes of more than $1 million in bribes from the time Havel was not arrested.
