In this era, national interests were basically confined to these areas around the country, and a radius of 3,000 kilometers basically covered all the core interests of the Celestial Empire. Qi Yiming, who endowed the PLA with stronger aggression and mobility, hoped that in any urgent situation, the three armed forces would have the ability to quickly attack, strike, and deliver quickly.

Taipei can be said to be the area with the most dense air defense firepower on the whole island, and although the Hawk missiles are suppressed by electromagnetic and cannot counterattack, hundreds of large and small anti-aircraft guns still give the air force some headaches. This also confirms that the density of anti-aircraft fire in some areas is indeed high, such as the "Presidential Palace".

Attack planes and drones have repeatedly launched surgical precision excision strikes in the urban area of Taipei, which is also what Qi Yiming and other high-level officials have particularly explained, if it is in Malaysia, Indonesia and other places, it will be okay to accidentally injure civilians, but in Taiwan we must be very careful, because the killing is too large, and it may leave a knot between the two sides of the strait that is difficult to untie in the future.

The air defense positions were almost cleared, and then the airborne troops appeared, and the large-scale air force mobilized more than 200 large and medium-sized transport planes, airdropped two divisions, and tens of thousands of people into the theater. It was not only the soldiers with light weapons who were dropped by air, but also paratroopers, combat vehicles, supplies and other necessities, because of the larger scale, so this time the "Ten Thousand Trees and Pear Blossoms" over Taipei looked much more spectacular than the airborne operation in Kuala Lumpur that day.

The Airborne Forces still use the relatively lightweight ZBD-03 paratrooper fighting vehicle, not that the MIFV multi-functional infantry vehicle is bad, but considering that the smaller ZBD-03 can be loaded more, and in essence, the firepower of the multi-functional infantry vehicle is not necessarily stronger than the Type 03 paratrooper fighting vehicle, that is, it can be more equipped with soldiers, so the equipment of the Airborne Forces is still dominated by the Type 03 paratrooper fighting vehicle. After landing in Taipei, the airborne troops still faced a more difficult battle situation than other troops. However, it was at this time that the airborne troops that were constantly gathering suddenly counterattacked, and dozens of paratrooper chariots and a group of airborne troops rushed to the 226th Division of the Taiwan Army with a fierce tiger descending the mountain. Although the 226th Division is known as a tiger roaring force, it does not look like a tiger in the face of such an offensive, but like a sheep pounced on by a tiger.

The bomber unit of the Air Force came again, and several H-6Ks dropped dozens of tons of guided bombs in one go, and the Type 226, which was a little dizzy, came to a catastrophe. Taking advantage of the cover of their own air force, the airborne troops fought with a small number of troops to swallow up the 226th Division, and the normal operation lasted more than an hour, and finally the 226th Division was completely annihilated in the border areas of Taipei City and Taipei County, and the remaining troops surrendered.

Obviously, this mode of fighting the airborne troops is not Qi Yiming's favorite method, although this way of retreating and rushing is very angry like Changhong, but it is also very medieval, just like the way of fighting during the Liberation War, according to Qi Yiming's rules, it must be the air force and artillery to knock hard, and then the infantry go up to sweep the tail and reap the results.

After thinking about it, Qi Yiming can also see that although modern warfare no longer needs this kind of charging and bloody pride, this mode of war is easy to be praised and remembered by people. Naturally, the Airborne Forces are assisted by attack aircraft and bomber units with strong air supremacy, and their firepower is actually not weak.

As soon as the 45th Division of the Airborne Forces came into contact with the 249th Division of the Taiwan Army, it was a posture that had to hit the opponent's brains, and the 249th Division was born in the youth army of Jiang Guangtou, and later fought Gu Ningtou in the battle of retreating to Taiwan Island. So in terms of morale alone, there is no difference between the two.

Although the infantry-tank coordination exercised by this Taiwan military unit is not very high-end, it is also a clear fight, and although the airborne troops have been prepared for such a hard time, they are still surprised. It's just that the Airborne Forces are by no means easy to bully, although the paratrooper fighting vehicle, an armored vehicle of more than 8 tons, is basically one cannon in front of a tank like the M60, but they also have their own counter-weapon, that is, the Red Arrow 73 anti-tank missile.

Even if the PLA is now equipped with a lot of the most advanced anti-tank missile Red Arrow 10, but after many improvements several models of the Red Arrow 73 itself can be produced by ordinary military factories, it can be regarded as a way for the military to maintain their livelihood, so the mainstream anti-tank missiles are still stronger than the original New Red Arrow 73 missile.

The range of this thing is farther than that of the M60 105 tank gun, and the mobility of the paratrooper fighting vehicle is also stronger than that of the M60.

This is the difference between a smart army and a rigid army, originally if the degree of rigidity PLA should be regarded as the forefront of the world, but the new things and new atmosphere brought by Qi Yiming still affected the whole army, so that everyone understands that no one can retreat when they should fight hard, but they must use their brains when they can better hit the enemy.

After a swarm of anti-tank missiles made a gap, a group of tanks and soldiers rushed up to get to know the remnants again.
