2. Three Martial Saints
The Chinese nation is a nation with a tradition of martial arts. There are countless people who are strong in martial arts in history. However, there are only three people who have really been officially posthumously crowned as martial saints by the emperors of previous dynasties: Jiang Shang, Guan Yu and Yue Fei.
I have a different view on this.
Taigong Jiang Shang, the more ancient he is before he comes out of the mountain, he is old, his qi and blood are decaying, what kind of martial arts can he talk about?
Guan Yuyun is long, and his martial arts are not convincing. Under the Tiger Prison, he couldn't fight with Zhang Fei and Lu Bu, and he had to add Liu Bei and the three brothers to bully others, and they couldn't win. Guan Yu led the troops independently, and his record was not significant.
Later, I figured out that these three martial saints have one of the biggest things in common, that is, "loyalty". In particular, Guan Yu was loyal and righteous, and was respected by the emperors of previous dynasties. Therefore, it can be named "Martial Saint". Its intention is the same as that of our country, which once vigorously promoted Jiao Yulu and Lei Feng. That's all.
The three martial saints in my mind are: Xie Xuan, Yue Fei, and Qi Jiguang.
Xie Xuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty recruited displaced people from the north to set up the "Beifu Soldiers", and his achievements were brilliant and he did not taste a defeat. The most bullish one, the Battle of Weishui, with 80,000 soldiers, forcibly swallowed the millions of people of the former Qin Fujian (in fact, there were only 800,000), and it was a long drive straight in, without any water. is so strong, not a "martial saint"?
Qi Jiguang of the Ming Dynasty, the head of the Ming Dynasty's anti-Japanese heroes. Recruited miners and peasants in Yiwu, Zhejiang, organized and trained the Qi army, fought from Shandong to Guangdong, and led the army to fight with Yu Dayou, the general soldier of Fujian, and Liu Xian, the general soldier of Guangdong, to expel the Japanese from the coastal border. Meritorious service has saved countless people.
What is most admirable about Qi Jiguang is that he attaches great importance to the development and application of high-tech military weapons. Under his promotion, the application of thermal weapons by the Qi family army was ahead of the entire era. Therefore, Qi Jiguang is also well-deserved as a "martial saint".
Qi Jiguang is good at guns, and his marksmanship claims to be the Yang family's Liuhe marksmanship.
After Yue Fei's death, there were two kinds of Yang family marksmanship in the world: one was the Yang family's marksmanship handed down by the Yang family; The other is the Yang family Liuhe marksmanship that has been modified and supplemented by Yue Fei.
The Yang family Liuhe gun is Yue Fei's integration of the Liuhe heart method into the original Yang family marksmanship. The so-called Liuhe: Yihe, Qi, Body, Gun, Horse; The last one is the second (fusion) of the first five, that is, the heart. Those who are in harmony with each other are the most sincere way, which can be known in advance. In the vernacular, it means that you can predict good luck and evil, so as to avoid risks. Therefore, the Yang family's marksmanship and the Yue's gun are almost the same in terms of moves, and it is difficult to distinguish, and the idealistic method and the body method are different.
Because Yue Fei was killed on "trumped-up" charges, for a long time, all the things of the Yue family were banned, and the Yue family's marksmanship was forced to be changed to the Yang family's Liuhe marksmanship and spread. Later, Yue Fei was rehabilitated by the Song family, and he also posthumously sealed the king of Hubei Wumu, and the Yue family's marksmanship was re-circulated under his real name. Therefore, the Yang family's Liuhe marksmanship is also the Yue's marksmanship. The two are the same thing and have different names.
Yue Fei later used Liuhe marksmanship in boxing, and it became "Liuhe Boxing".
Whether it is "Liuhe Gun" or "Liuhe Boxing", in its practice and play, visualization and the use of ideas occupy a very important position, so it is also called "Liuhe Gun" and "Liuhe Boxing". Later, it gradually evolved into a major type of boxing in modern times--- Xingyi boxing.
Because Yue Fei's "Liuhe" mental method is obtained from Huashan, there are also descendants of Xinyi Liuhe Quan and Xingyi Quan to worship the ancestor of Huashan Chen Tuo.
The Yang family's marksmanship was originally the use of a spear on horseback, and there was only a single practice method. Therefore, the "Xinyi Liuhe Boxing" or "Xingyi Boxing" in later generations, including the "Dacheng Boxing", are all based on single-style practice methods (such as various pile methods, refining and nourishing qi methods, visualization methods, etc.) and playing methods, and the routines are all added by later generations.
Yue Fei's story is well-known and widely circulated among Chinese. Yue Fei had a sad ending, "The ambition died before he was rewarded, and the hero was full of tears." Heroic! A song "Manjianghong" makes the blood of many people with lofty ideals boil.
I have always had a wish to be able to write a book for the three martial saints in my mind and talk about it. This "Legend of the Martial Saint: Yue Wumu Chapter" is my first attempt. Hope to be accepted.
