Volume III: Summary and Author's Statement
The war in Europe felt unexpectedly long, and I originally planned to write only about the plot of turning to Asia after the end of the French campaign, but after I deduced the plot, I found that this goal could not be achieved at all.
Because if you don't explain the ending of Britain clearly, you can't write the rest of the story. In addition, there is another problem that when writing a book about this kind of world war and the big picture, it often affects the whole body, Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, Germany, Japan, France, China, and even Italy, several major countries were affected by the war situation during the war, and their foreign policy changes had to be explained.
After reading a lot of novels about World War II, I feel that the biggest problem of many authors is that they lack the courage to smash history, and they are faced with the dilemma of not being able to deduce and write screenplays without history.
Because of being kidnapped by history, I feel that the current World War II text is getting narrower and narrower. Because the author is always put on the head by the "history" sleeve and dragged away. What's more, because of the routine of history, the World War II strategy they made up always has huge flaws.
For example, it is the German route. According to strategic deduction, no matter what victory method Germany makes, if it cannot continue to "follow history" and launch the Soviet-German war regardless of the defeat of Britain and the forced peace of Britain, then Germany will not be able to avoid fighting on two fronts, and sooner or later it will be stabbed in the back by the British who have recovered their anger.
A bunch of authors on the Internet who wrote about World War II, when they wrote about this plot, they just lacked the courage to smash the history of the calendar. The campaign against Britain was written in a dazzling way, and in the end, it was written that Britain still did not destroy Britain or force Britain, and then it was kidnapped by history and forcibly launched the Soviet-German war.
Then this kind of writing is written, and the author himself feels that the road is getting more and more difficult to walk in the end, and the screenwriter can't make it up, and then he becomes a eunuch, or it is unfinished.
Because of this, when I was conceiving this book, my position was to completely shatter history and write with an open mind.
The description of the war in Europe, the plot is so huge that I didn't expect it, and the European plot, which was originally planned to end in early May, has not ended yet. However, after writing about the destruction of Cunningham's fleet yesterday, the European plot can be completely ended in two or three days, and then return to the Pacific War in Asia.
By now, three-quarters of the way through this book has been completed, and only the battle between the United States and Japan in the Pacific War remains, which is a big plot. According to my writing plan, after the end of the war between the United States and Japan, I will spend half a month or a month to put the finishing touches on the work, and the main plot is to write about the changes in the new world pattern after the end of World War II, as well as the plot push after the Cold War and the quadrupolarization of the world. Although the plot plan after World War II was to be written in about a month as the ending, it is estimated that the plot will be inflated due to continuous deduction by then.
My personal writing habit is that I never write an outline when I write a book, because I don't know how to write according to the outline myself. It's all about writing wherever you want to go, and it's free to play. I thought that if I wrote an outline, there would be a problem of cutting it to fit the bill, so the outline would be of no use to me at all.
In addition, when chatting with readers, some readers said that they now read World War II texts or time-traveling texts, and they want to see more about the impact of time-travelers on a country in education, construction, movies and other aspects.
Well, I'll write about this idea as well, but I'm planning to write it in the context of the Cold War after World War II
The number of chapters in the third volume of this book has accumulated too much. So let's make an end here, it's not convenient for readers to read, and I'll open a fourth volume today. The title of the volume is called Empire in the Sunset. For the decline of the British Empire, a separate volume is devoted to explaining the final outcome of the Anglo-German War.
