Chapter 397: Indian Princely States

Shostakovich, who received the task, left, full of confidence in his new mission.

When Shostakovich went out, Mushaaf on the side said: "President, is the policy of the Soviet Union really about to start changing?" ”

For a bite of bread, even his own military industry can be sold, such a change makes Musha'f feel a little incredible, once, it was a powerful Soviet Union that made the world tremble!

"The world is changing, every moment." "If we don't keep up with the times, we will be left behind," Mhammad said. ”

Mhammad's words were profound, Mushaaf pondered, and another air force general, Nur Khan, said: "Then we will simply build some big, ballistic missile industry, and we need the good things of the Soviets, but unfortunately, we lack enough people." ”

This Shostakovich was just a soldier at the bottom, slowly climbing up, it also took time, however, to get in touch with the Soviet ballistic missile industry, it took a long time.

If only there was someone at a higher level.

"yes." "In this matter, we also need to set it up and find the right person," Mhammad said. For the current Soviets, there is nothing impossible, it depends on whether the price is high enough. ”

As the Soviet Union began to shift to a new approach, the opportunity for the lower classes to make a fortune came, and Mhammad believed those would seize the opportunity.

Although Gorbachev wanted to change, alas, he was still too naΓ―ve, and the problems of the USSR were already entrenched and could not be solved.

Mhammad will not lament the collapse of the Soviet Union or anything, this is a historical necessity. At the beginning, when the Soviet Union collapsed, those CIS countries were cheering, cheering for the liberation of a shackle, and as a result, the current situation is also seen. Yugoslavia was a powerful country before its dissolution, and now there are wars everywhere. And those former republics of the Soviet Union, every one of them has a hard time, and even, Russia and Ukraine, these two former brothers, are now fighting over trivial matters.

There are no eggs under the nest, and the collapse of the Soviet Union. Representing the cease of existence of a powerful state, the revival of Russia will also be a long and arduous road.

Mhammad will not do anything for the Soviet Union, the collapse of the Soviet Union is inevitable, and all he can do is to reap as much benefit as possible in the process of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In addition to arranging the internal response in advance, Soviet arms can be carried out cheaply. There is another important thing for Mhammad.

"How's it going on in India?" Mhammad asked.

"We've been preparing. I've secretly supported them with a lot of weapons, so it stands to reason that I should have done it recently, right? Musha'af said: "Why don't we rush again?" ”

"No, we just have to watch, this thing. It has to have nothing to do with us. Mhammad said.

"That's of course, it's an internal affair for Indians." Musha'af said: "The thugs are the Sikhs, who have nothing to do with us, the princely states. After enduring the oppression of the Indians for so long, it is long overdue to rise up. ”

After Musha'f finished speaking, everyone laughed, a huge India, once a neighbor who was eyeing each other, is now, under the instigation of Pakistan, civil strife has begun!

India's land area is several times that of Pakistan, and its population is even larger, but it is second only to the population of China, and it is not easy to deal with such a huge country.

If Pakistan occupies India completely, it is absolutely impossible, the Indians will rise up and resist, there will be guerrilla warfare everywhere, just like Afghanistan now, if you want to solve the Indian problem, you have to change another way of thinking, that is, divide it!

When you look at the problem from another angle, the huge India is no longer a whole, but a part of a part, in which, a large area, is a declining aristocracy, a princely state!

The question of the princely states can be traced all the way back to the colonial period, when the flag of the empire of the day was planted all over the world, and the South Asian subcontinent was no exception.

In what is now India, the British colonizers established two systems of colonial rule. One system is a system of direct rule, which directly establishes all levels of government and controls the society and resources of India. These regions are known as British India. The other system was the indirect system of rule, in which vassal states were established in which feudal lords governed their own princely states, and the British colonists controlled them behind the scenes, and these areas were called princely states of India.

These princely states were essentially the territories of the original indigenous princes. When the British came with guns and swords, they left and surrendered, allegiance to the British king, to retain their position, which was still inherited by the former princes, monarchs or their families.

Many princely states have independent authority in finance, taxation and justice, and are almost an independent kingdom, among them, the princely state of Hyderabad.

The princely state of Hyderabad was the largest princely state in the colonial period of India, located in the south-central part of India, and was established since 1724, before the partition of India and Pakistan, it had its own currency, mint, railroad and post office, and was almost a completely independent kingdom.

The princely state of Hyderabad is vast, encompassing most of the Deccan Plateau in India, larger than England and Scotland combined. For a long time, the princes of Hyderabad, known as Nizam, had been staunch supporters of the British colonizers in various positions, guaranteeing their dominance, but sadly, this qiΔ“ ended in 1948.

The British colonists had no choice but to leave, but before leaving, they wanted to make a mess of it, and the last British governor at the time, Mountbatten, proposed the famous Mountbatten plan, which dissolved British India under the British Empire and gave birth to two new states, the Union of India and the Dominion of Pakistan.

This is purely a powder keg plan, and the war has not stopped since the birth of the plan.

At the same time, the princely states, by stipulation, decided whether to join India or Pakistan by the princely states themselves.

At that time, after the announcement of the Mountbatten plan, the princely princes of the wider and more populous princely states such as Hyderabad, Mysore, Indore, Jammu and Kashmir, Travankol and Junagit were very worried about the problems they were facing, they were in India, but they wanted to join Pakistan, and at the same time, this was absolutely impossible, so they wanted to continue to maintain their independent status and become independent kingdoms.

At that time, the largest princely state of Hyderabad issued a proclamation claiming that Hyderabad had the right to maintain its independent sovereign status after Britain lost its supreme right over the princely states.

At that time, Mir Osman Ali Khan, the ruler of the princely state of Hyderabad, hoped to use his wealth to make Hyderabad an independent state or join the patrimonial Pakistan. Unfortunately, this wish was soon frustrated, and Nehru took military action and ordered the Indian army to occupy the princely state of Hyderabad, which has since become part of Indian territory.

This is how the rest of the princely states end.

Mir Osman Ali Khan, who became the last monarch of the princely state of Hyderabad, was a legendary figure. He became the cover of Time magazine in 1937, the man with a white hat and a princely uniform became the envy of all, his private fortune exceeded $2 billion, he was the richest man in the world, he had 86 mistresses and gave birth to more than 100 illegitimate children. Unfortunately, when the princely states were forcibly annexed to India, all his powers were gone, and his wealth was gone.

When he finally died in 1967, the huge wealth he had accumulated during his life was also used to pay off debts, maintain the expenses of the palace and sustain future generations.

After his death, his grandson, Mukaram al-Jah, who was 33 years old at the time, succeeded to the title of "monarch" and became the 8th "Nizam". Unfortunately, at this time there was no power left, and the central government of India still had an annuity for the princely monarchs to maintain their lives. As a result, more than 20 years later, in 1971, India passed a constitutional amendment to abolish the annuity of the princely monarchs, and the title was abolished. In this way, the era of princely princely princes and nobles came to an end in India.

Of course, the real aristocracy of India did not end, and the decline of these nobles in the princely states was the beginning of the birth of some new nobles. Whoever holds power will become the new aristocracy, this is an eternal truth.

The descendants of Mir Osman Ali Khan did not fare well, and in later generations, Mukaram Jah, the titular Nizam of the princely state of Hyderabad, lived in a small apartment in Istanbul, lived the life of an ordinary person, and had long lost his aristocratic temperament.

This situation should not have happened, those princes and nobles, the heads of the princely states, should have established their own independent kingdoms! It was the Indians who used their own forceful means to force these princely states to be incorporated into India!

In the past, the princely chiefs dared to think about it at most, but now, it is completely different.

India is no longer the powerful India of Nehru's rule! Now, the central government of India is already a foreign powerhouse and a middle cadre! Those so-called millions of troops are already yesterday! The combat effectiveness of the Indian army, that is, a scum, was hit by Pakistan to the capital last time, they didn't have time to react, and finally signed an agreement to lose power and humiliate the country, and Pakistan withdrew its troops!

Such a central government, there is no credibility left, there is nothing to be afraid of, this is the best chance, a chance to re-establish the princely state! (To be continued......)
