There is no doubt about this, because of the special situation in Vietnam, the only camouflage that the soldiers can choose is the military. Otherwise, a young man disguised himself as an ordinary person...... Vietnamese people will be thinking, why didn't this man go to the army?!

"So!" I continued: "If you think about how the Vietnamese army fought, how they talked, and how they lived, that is your life in the future!" ”

After saying this, I didn't say anything more, and waved my hand to let Chen Yiyi and Chen Qiaoqiao step forward and turn back to the command headquarters.

In fact, that doesn't sound like much...... It's just the life of a Vietnamese army!

But anyone who has been to the battlefield and fought knows it. The life of our front-line soldiers is hard. Or the life of the Vietnamese army is even more miserable. And now the reconnaissance brigade has to live in the way of the Vietnamese army...... The thought of this makes these fighters feel creepy.

This is a decision I have made in the past few days.

As I said before, our scouts do not have an advantage in going deep into the border to fight, or even have no advantage, but because most of our soldiers grew up in a peaceful society, so it is impossible to be as ruthless as the Vietnamese army agents.

How can you avoid these problems?

Teach them to be as ferocious as the more devils? Commanding them to do it to the elderly, women, or even children?

This is obviously unrealistic, and there will be two sides to it...... Once they are taught to do so, they can indeed gain some benefits on the battlefield now, but what about one day when they return to a peaceful society? Is there a way for them to transition back from that state?

I'm sure some of them might. But there is no doubt that there are also some people who will become our social problem...... This is one of the reasons why many bandits in this era have military experience.

So, the best thing to do is to let them pretend to be.

How do you pretend to be? That is, to completely put them in the kind of environment of the Vietnamese army and maintain the living conditions of the Vietnamese army, so that after a long time, even they themselves have some belief that they are Vietnamese, so naturally they can make the Vietnamese devils believe in it.

Of course, this is easier said than done.

The first is Vietnamese.

Of course, Commander Zhang took this into account when he transferred manpower...... If you don't know Vietnamese, it's too easy to be spotted if you want to disguise yourself as a Vietnamese soldier, just like a Vietnamese army agent. Many of them speak Chinese, which often plays an unexpected role at critical moments. And a lot of risks can be avoided.

For example, the reason why the base where the artillery radar was located last time was breached by Vietnamese agents was entirely because the soldiers of the tactical company had no experience and thought that those who could speak Chinese and wore Chinese military uniforms must be their own people.

However, it is not enough for only some people to be able to speak Vietnamese, and my requirement is that everyone should be able to speak not only but also accurately and fluently.

This is not easy to do, but there is a saying that "people are forced out".

I gave an order to all the fighters of the reconnaissance brigade, from the commander down to each and every one of them, to live in a base specially prepared for the reconnaissance brigade from today onwards.

In this base, they use the weapons of the Vietnamese army, wear the military uniforms of the Vietnamese army, and live in cat's ear holes or huts made of bamboo that are common in the Vietnamese army.

More importantly...... None of them are allowed to speak Chinese, and they must communicate in Vietnamese.

Of course, among them, I also specially selected some soldiers from the army who can speak Vietnamese fluently to live and train with them...... Some of our soldiers are border residents along the border of Yunnan, and they can speak Vietnamese fluently.

Obviously, at first, the warriors may not be used to this kind of life, and some may even have difficulty in ordinary communication, but after a long time, it will naturally be.

And this process is not as difficult as they imagined, because they don't need to learn all the Vietnamese language, and they don't need to be proficient or study any grammar...... They just need to memorize some common communication languages and practice the accent as correctly as possible, such as "the weather is nice today".

Of course, some of them will have higher requirements, after all, sometimes there is still a need for deeper exchanges on the battlefield, and this is the problem of those platoon commanders and company commanders.

For the fighters of the reconnaissance brigade, it was even more difficult to get used to the life of the Vietnamese army.

This is indeed a nightmare for them, because the suffering of the Vietnamese army is unimaginable to us...... For example, I didn't even have shoes to wear, and I couldn't eat enough.

Some cadres think that these can be appropriately relaxed, such as Zhao Jingping, who does not support this.

Zhao Jingping's statement is: "What if the soldiers are not well fed and clothed, their bodies are reduced, and their combat effectiveness is reduced?" How will they go to war then?! ”

But I feel that it is necessary to carry out special operations deep into enemy territory...... It is more important to disguise, combat effectiveness is of course important, but it should be placed on the back burner.

Because successful camouflage is the premise, if the Vietnamese army is allowed to see through it, it can be said that it almost means that the mission has failed, and even if the combat effectiveness is strong, it is difficult to escape the fate of being surrounded and annihilated by the Vietnamese army.

Therefore, after several arguments, it was finally decided that it had to be done according to the conditions of the Vietnamese army.
