Chapter 69: The Wind Fills the Building

After a few days of silence, the Soviets finally couldn't hold it anymore...... This time, we got the news in advance, and the news came from Captain Dezno, who had "cooperated" with us before.

Exactly...... It shouldn't be said that it is the head of the self-Dezno, here's the thing...... Commander Dezno received some news that the Soviets were going to launch a large-scale attack on a certain place in a few days...... As a government corps commander, it was easy for Dezno to get the news, such as a large-scale transfer of Soviet troops, a large concentration of supplies, etc., or he heard some rumors in a meeting, in short, Dezno got a date.

And then...... The commander of the regiment Dezno began to think: should you inform the partisans?

If you don't notice...... Although it doesn't hurt me, I just don't know.

On the contrary, there are many risks associated with informing the guerrillas, such as my official position, my family, and so on......

But...... It is not without benefit to be notified, for example, the previous "cooperation" with the guerrillas easily won a "battle...... Not only is there not much risk, but it has also received a lot of awards.

So...... "Cooperation" with the guerrillas was necessary...... This is not only his own way to promotion, but more importantly, he can ensure the safety of his own troops, including his own lives...... Therefore, it is also time to give the guerrillas a little benefit, let them know that we have the possibility of "long-term cooperation", and at the same time express sincerity and gratitude!

So...... He brought in a subordinate who had connections with the guerrillas...... There are more people in the Afghan government army who have connections with the guerrillas like this, and Dezno, as the regiment commander, will of course have a number of such lists in his hands, but because the situation is tense at this time, he has not seriously liquidated them.

And then there was a conversation...... For example: "You have to be vigilant these days. Don't let the guerrillas sneak into the city. It is also necessary to pay attention to the movements of the various armed forces in the city. Especially in the morning after three days...... Cheer me up! Do you understand? ”

And so we got this time...... Three days later in the morning!

Once we had that time, we had a discussion...... Some people think that this is an old trick played by the Soviet Union, like last time, to put out fake news, while others find it credible.

In this respect...... The Soviet army used the Afghan government army to release fake news in the past, it was not just as simple as releasing a few fake messages to deceive the guerrillas, but more importantly, the news was false and true, true and false...... We don't know which one to believe.

But...... Our opinions were quickly agreed: regardless of whether the news is true or not, let's equip it as if it were true, and there is nothing to lose by preparing in advance anyway.

Mobilization efforts were soon underway...... The fortifications of the mountain pass were to be completed immediately, and the ammunition was insufficient to replenish in time. There was one more communication between the fighters and the Afghan guerrillas...... This kind of communication is carried out by shouting and gesturing, and the first thing we did in the training of the Afghan guerrillas was to teach the Afghan guerrillas the skills of hand gesture communication in our troops.

This is due to the fact that our fighters do not speak the same language as the Afghan guerrillas...... Although we brought a few interpreters, such as Saheid, the fighters communicated with the Afghan guerrillas in the hundreds, and at any time and at any time, and it was impossible for everyone and every moment to have an interpreter for them to explain.

In particular, some of the forces are still mixed with Chinese and Afghans...... For example, in the anti-aircraft artillery unit, two Chinese soldiers and four Afghan guerrillas operate the same anti-aircraft artillery, and in the mortar unit, two Chinese soldiers are responsible for command and coordination in a mortar platoon...... It would be a nightmare for these forces to be unable to coordinate because of language barriers.

On the other hand. It is impossible to get the soldiers to learn Persian or the Afghans to learn Chinese...... Although language is easy to express quickly, it is impossible to learn to be able to communicate without barriers in a short period of time.

But gestures are different...... The gesture image is easy to understand. For example, to stop moving forward is to raise the right hand and not move, to move forward is to wave the hand forward, to lie down is to use the palm of the hand to do a few downward movements, etc......

As the saying goes, sharpening knives is not a mistake for woodcutters, and our training starts with gestures from the very beginning, because we know ...... Only when the basic problem of communication between the two units is resolved can the training play its due role.

It's hard for Afghans to learn Chinese, it's hard for us to learn Persian, but if we all learn gestures...... The whole process becomes simple.

Later, of course, for the sake of convenience, the units developed to replace some simple orders with the length of the whistle...... This is also a must, such as when fighting...... If the light can gesticulate, then can't the guerrillas stare at the commander while charging? When you go to battle, you have to keep your eyes on the target!

That's why whistles are used...... For example, a whistle sound of "Di Di Di ......" represents a gathering, or all the attention, and then "Di Di ......" is "hit", and then there are commands such as throwing grenades, which can easily order the guerrillas to carry out some kind of tactical action in a uniform manner on the battlefield.

Of course, this has to be after training again and again, otherwise there are so many commands, and gestures...... Some guerrillas with poor memory or slow reflexes will be confused.

So the preparations were quickly and methodically carried out, the soldiers did the last drill and exchange, and the command also incorporated translators...... The translation was in response to the situation where Afghans reported on the fighting situation after the Chinese soldiers died. The people were temporarily moved to the depths of the mountains...... The valley is surrounded by high mountains, and it is three to five thousand meters above sea level, so it is very easy to turn into the mountains, which is one of the reasons why the valley is easy to defend and difficult to attack...... If we can't defeat the Soviets in the valley, then we will go deep into the mountains on both sides to fight guerrillas, and when the Soviets have withdrawn, we will fight back from both sides, and then we will fight back from both sides.

The reason why Pesur was beaten so wolf last time was entirely because he fell for the tricks of the Soviets and was accidentally surrounded.

But we ...... We are not Pesul, we are a group of soldiers who crawled out of the pile of dead people, I would like to see what the Soviets are capable of "clearing" us! (To be continued......)
