Chapter 20 Emergencies

Soon after the meeting, we worked out the training subjects.

The main thing in this is to let the soldiers how to control their own emotions and conflict with the enemy, which seems easy but difficult to do, mainly because the soldiers who go to the battlefield to fight are all in one breath...... This is a method commonly used by veterans, in fact, it cannot be said that it is a veteran, it should be said that it is a method commonly used by our army.

Just like when we first entered the battlefield, the instructor would take us to the village to visit some houses that were blown up by the Vietnamese army, and listen to the villagers tell about the evil deeds of the Vietnamese army, which is called pre-war mobilization in our army.

This method is quite effective, after listening to these evil deeds of the Vietnamese army, the soldiers will naturally hold back a sense of being bullied by the Vietnamese army and want to settle accounts with the other party.

By the time we were veterans, this kind of pre-war mobilization was practically dispensable.

On the one hand, this is because we have accumulated enough hatred with the Vietnamese devils on the battlefield, and there is no need for additional "mobilization" at all, and on the other hand, the veterans will think of some scenes of fighting with the Vietnamese army or falling into the hands of the Vietnamese army before going to the battlefield to cultivate hatred.

There is a saying that "people are not ruthless without grass and trees", we Chinese are not like the Vietnamese, the Vietnamese have grown up in decades of war, they are born with a kind of animal nature and do not need such mobilization at all. However, we have grown up in peacetime, and if we had not mobilized in this way before the war, we might not be able to do anything on the battlefield because of our softness.

This can also be seen that the battlefield is not a place about human nature, it just requires us to ignore life.

After a long time like this, the soldiers can now be said to be reflexive, as long as they go to the battlefield, they naturally have a kind of hatred in their hearts. There is a murderous atmosphere.

But now it is easier said than done to suppress this hatred and murderous aura.

And this kind of suppression does not mean complete suppression, and if it is suppressed too much, it will not be able to scare the Indian devils. What's more, if we suppress it too much, we will not be able to fight in other battlefields in the future, so this requires us to grasp a good degree.

Our method is to make a humanoid target and conduct a simulated exercise.

This approach is not new. In fact, it was the method of training the armed police at the beginning, but it was just tossing the humanoid target into the image of the Indian army.

However, there is a difference in this training, and the armed police are required to be able to distinguish between hostages and criminals during training, and we ...... It is resolute not to fire the first shot.

In other words, this is the principle that our country has always adhered to, and according to the words of the superiors, it is: "No matter whether it is justified or not, as long as the first shot is fired, it is ignored."

In fact, there is a certain amount of truth in this, you must know that the international situation is complicated now, and it will be difficult to gain a foothold in international public opinion after the first shot is fired.

So we had to make the fighters bite the bullet and grit their teeth and not pull the trigger on the humanoid targets that bounced out one by one. That is, it means that he would rather sacrifice his own life than adhere to this principle.

Of course, this will have the sequelae, that is, when we return to the battlefield in Vietnam one day, we may lose our lives because of this hesitation. But the task at hand is imminent, and we can't take care of it so much, so it's a big deal that we will carry out some reverse adaptation training after completing this task.

Of course, I felt aggrieved in my heart for this training soldier, and this was the time for the instructor and instructor to play a role.

In other words, in this training process, it is actually more of an instructor and instructor doing ideological work for the soldiers, emphasizing over and over again that this is related to the war between the two countries, and the slightest mistake is likely to bring a heavy burden to the country.

This is not alarmist, China's current form is indeed not suitable for opening up another battlefield, and it is precisely because of this that the Indian side wants to take advantage of the border. So we had to be careful.

I trained like this for two weeks...... Our plan was to train for a month, but the shape shì didn't give us that much time.

"Battalion Commander Yang!" On that day, while I was watching the soldiers train intensively, Staff Officer Li hurried up to me. "The situation has changed, and the Indian side has suddenly strengthened the strength of the outpost and built a new outpost not far away," he said. ”

I couldn't help frowning when I heard this, it was clear that India was starting to encroach further.

"The superiors mean ......" Staff Officer Li said, "The reason why India will make further moves is most likely because our army has not reacted to their provocative actions, so the superiors think that we must start the operation in advance." ”

"Hmm!" I nodded.

This is a must, considering that India now has a heavy transport plane, the Mi-26, which is like a game to transport building materials or supplies, and can build five or six posts at will. If we don't react, I'm afraid the situation will soon become unmanageable.

"Master Wu wants to know if you're ready?" Staff Officer Li asked.

"Ready!" I glanced at the fighters on the training ground and replied.

The truth is that I don't know the bottom of my heart. But there is no room for me to have any other voices at this time.

So that night we learned some necessary Hindi, such as "this is China's inherent territory", "surrender the gun and not kill" and so on...... Later, I learned that this preparation was not used at all. It's not that we don't learn Hindi well, there are only a few sentences in total, and we can memorize it after reading it a few times with a few Chinese characters with similar pronunciations, just like the "Nuokong Pine Page" on the battlefield in Vietnam.

The problem is that the Indian language is not yet unified...... According to statistics, there are a total of 1,652 languages in India, of which 33 are spoken by more than one million people, and there are as many as 18 official languages stipulated in the constitution.

We were halfway home to learn Hindi, but unfortunately the Indian devils we had to face were speaking Urdu.

But there is no way to do it, we can't learn all the 18 official languages of India.

In fact, this is also a mockery of India, as a great power...... It is a big problem to know that language unification is a big problem, and if there is no unity of language, there will be many problems, such as difficult cultural integration, communication difficulties, ethnic conflicts, power integration, and so on.

To give a simple example, China is a populous country with a population of more than one billion, because of the unity of language, there are few communication difficulties between the armies, but India is different...... The Indian army may need interpreters because of different languages, and in an emergency, there may even be communication difficulties and the fighter plane will be lost.

After one last pass for the fighters, we finally boarded the helicopter that went to the front line early the next morning.

According to intelligence, the Indian army threw a total of one company near the Sandro River...... First one platoon built a post, and then two additional platoons set up another post.

In order to be able to shock the Indian army without revealing all its strength, we decided to send two platoons each with five Black Hawk helicopters, or a total of ten Black Hawks, to the Sandro River to establish two posts.

Originally, in order to achieve the effect of shocking the Indian army, Division Commander Wu felt that we should send all twenty-four Black Hawks at one time.

This can indeed be a blockbuster, but at the same time, it will also show its hole cards as soon as it is made, and after a while, the Indian army will feel that the Chinese are nothing more than that.

But if we increase step by step, it will give the Indian army a constant surprise...... The first time I saw the squadron's ten Black Hawks, this was a process from existence to nothing, and the Indian army would think after being surprised: "China is just ten Black Hawks, and it is not a problem."

But soon the number of the ten Black Hawks increased to twelve, and then to fourteen...... This will make the Indian army feel again and again that it has misjudged our strength, and the follow-up Chinese Black Hawks seem to be increasing in a steady stream, as if there is no bottom, India simply cannot judge how many Black Hawks there are on the Chinese side.

To put it simply, this is a kind of psychological warfare, that is, using the fear of the twenty-four Black Hawks and the Indian army to create the illusion that our army has enough Black Hawks.

Division Commander Wu quickly adopted my opinion, so the first to go up were the first platoon, the second platoon, six sniper groups, and the battalion headquarters...... At this time, I also had to go up, after all, this is a major matter between countries, and I need to command and coordinate on the front line at any time.

Ten Black Hawks loaded with soldiers and supplies quickly took off from the base and flew in the direction of the Sandro River, and on the way to the helicopter to the destination, I observed the soldiers around me, their faces were still as resolute as ever, but their eyes were a little confused.

Obviously, they weren't sure what they were going to face when they went to the front this time, or what the outcome would be.

In fact, it was not only them who were confused, but even I, the commander, felt a little at a loss, because this was the first time that we did not go to the battlefield with a battle plan...... In fact, we can't make a plan for this situation, even if we want to, because no one knows what awaits us.

Is it war? Or is it a false alarm?

As a modern person, I prefer that this is a false alarm, because the Sino-Indian conflict in history did not erupt into a second Sino-Indian war.

But on the other hand...... I also feel that the outcome is still unknown, because of my involvement, and I am afraid that if I don't try to fight for something in the process, or can't change something, the trajectory of history will probably unfold in the other direction. (To be continued)
