Andingmen - The old saying is that the military cart goes back to the city to go Andingmen. Actually, that's not the case at all. The Qing Dynasty implemented the banner and the people in Beijing, and the eight banners were divided into four corners and eight directions. In fact, Andingmen is a dung truck, because in the past, the vicinity of the Temple of Earth was the main dung dump in Beijing. The reason why it is said to be a military vehicle to return to the city is actually a kind of elegance of the name, which is the same as changing the stinky skin alley to the wall alley, the stinky leather factory to the Shoubi alley, the cowhoi alley to the inscription alley, and the dung factory compound to the Fenzhang compound.

Dongzhimen - bricks, timber cars and other people's cars. In the Ming Dynasty, Yongle Emperor Zhu Di sent the "military advisor" Yao Guangxiao to train "Pu Lao". Yao Guangxiao's name "Daoyan" is the "great monk" who will enter the phase, he knows the origin and specialty of "Pu Lao", and thinks that it is most appropriate to cast it on the bell. With the bell as the book, the bell to carry the road, Yao Guangxiao once cast a Yongle bell full of Buddhist scriptures at the behest of the Yongle Emperor, and the bell was not cast into a dragon-shaped bell button because the bell buttons were full of Buddhist scriptures. This time, it happened that the "Pu Lao" was not making a fuss in the southeast of the capital, so the point of Chongwen Gate on the southeast side of the capital was taken off and replaced with the "City Bell" with the "Pu Lao" bell button.
