The increase in United States arms production is due to effective secrecy measures. Governments are not very clear about this, but Hu Weidong, a traveler, can make a rough estimate based on historical conditions, and the rapid expansion of the US military cannot be concealed at all.

In June 1942, the number of combat aircraft in the Soviet Union has exceeded 20,000, the total number of tanks/armored vehicles/self-propelled guns has also exceeded 20,000, and the number of artillery is more than the sum of all other countries, and now the weapons and equipment of the Soviet army have mostly been upgraded, although they are not as good as the German army for the time being. Of course, these estimates are made on the premise of excluding China as a factor

Therefore, Hu Weidong believes that the previously determined strategy of alienating the Axis powers must make some adjustments, and in order to make World War II more tragic and last, China must find a way to help the Axis powers. Of course, it is impossible to directly enter the war, which will only drag China, whose comprehensive national strength is still very limited, into the abyss

In order to show China's strict attitude of neutrality, and in order to avoid giving the Soviet Union an excuse for interference, the Chinese government finally drove out all the German armed personnel in China according to the original plan, but at the same time secretly carried out a jishu exchange with Germany, unlike the previous China took advantage, this time the Chinese government did not care about the price, Hu Weidong handed over the design drawings of the Type 59 medium tank to Germany without asking for a penny, with Germany's industrial base, It is fully capable of bringing out this excellent tank copycat with the advanced level of Shijie in the 50s, and being able to continue to maintain the performance advantage of German tanks after the advanced tanks of the United States and the Soviet Union were equipped with troops.

The 59 design drawings given by Hu Weidong are only the initial model, and the performance cannot be compared with the so-called "59 magic reform" in later generations, but it can definitely go sideways during World War II. And Hu Weidong took into account that the current armies of various countries are equipped with a large number of anti-tank rocket launchers, anti-tank guns, and even most of the shells of tank guns use armor-piercing shells with super anti-armor ability and little impact on the muzzle velocity of the shell, and specially added the design of grille armor (which can be understood as barbed wire) to the prototype of Type 59, although this design is very simple, but it can reduce the killing efficiency of enemy ammunition based on the principle of shaped armor-piercing at least half (grille armor can make armor-piercing shells completely ineffective, but it cannot cover the entire tank, Therefore, in actual combat, it can also halve the efficiency of armor-piercing shells to damage the tank, of course, which is already very good), and greatly reduce the probability of the tank being completely destroyed (irreparable) and the death of personnel, and the impact on the performance of the tank is quite limited (the maximum speed is reduced by two or three kilometers per hour), which is really beneficial and not costly
