Sixty-five, the fierce battle at the gas station (I)
After silently taking out a local NPC, I needed to attract the attention of the enemies in the direction of the gas station in exchange for the safety of the two people in the gas station, but the trouble was that due to mission restrictions, I couldn't rush into the gas station, so I had to change to a gun with a sound to attract attention.
After the last time I fired, the enemy was obviously still a little overwhelmed, so I seized the opportunity and aimed at one of the hostile NPCs closest to the gas station building and shot my head. And the huge gunfire of the M700 also succeeded in transferring the enemy's attraction from the inside of the gas station building to me.
After my location was revealed, the enemy noticed that there were snipers, but because the distance was a bit far, they were not ready to fight back, but were ready to run into the building of the gas station, including the place where Meow Meow and the NPC girl were, of course. That's a bit of putting the cart before the horse.
To better attract enemy fire, I climbed onto the roof of the SUV in three or two steps, set up the M700 there, and quickly knocked down one of the closest enemy NPCs to the building. This time, due to my prominent position, the remaining two NPCs began to fight back against me. One of them fired at me with an assault rifle, but due to distance constraints and lack of accuracy, many bullets missed or hit the car. Just as I was about to take the risk and fight back, I noticed the strange behavior of another NPC, and as I turned my attention to him, I found that he was equipped with something that made me gasp: a recoilless cannon.
It was too late for me to find out, I jumped off the roof of the SUV as fast as I could, and before I could hit the ground, the shell had already hit the SUV and exploded.
In the vicinity of the explosion, I briefly lost my hearing and my health bar was cut so badly that I could barely move, but I knew that if I didn't move, the second shot would be really over. I endured the pain and crawled as far as I could in the direction of the roadside.
After finally reaching the vegetation on the side of the road, I put on a bandage and an energy drink there. Although the health bar gradually recovered and the pain began to ease, the psychological impact of being at the center of the explosion at close range was still very great. As my hearing regained, I heard gunshots coming from the direction of the gas station.
"Oops, could it be that Meow Meow Rice and they were attacked?" I shouted in my heart that if the enemy NPC opened up and attacked the two with a recoilless cannon, the two people inside the gas station building would have nowhere to hide.
I immediately picked up my sniper rifle that had fallen on the road and raised it in the direction of the gas station.
