49. The battle for materials

I quickened my pace, but there was a little distance, and no matter how fast it was, it would take me about ten minutes.

Then, as I got closer, I heard the sound of car engines, and there was only one car on our team at the moment, which meant there were other cars in my team's vicinity.

As I was moving forward, I took out my walkie-talkie and tried to contact the three teammates who were collecting the supplies, but there was no response, and then I had to turn to contact my uncle, and after some conversation, we decided to meet up before moving on.

After a while, I ran into my uncle on the way forward. After we meet, we only need to climb a small hill to get to the place where the supplies are dropped. My uncle and I were both armed with sniper rifles and started climbing the mountain, and just then, the sound of gunfire began to be heard.

"Oops! Brother, let's hurry up! "Uncle shouted while crawling! I said yes, and then quickened my pace and rushed up the mountain.

As soon as we reached the top of the mountain, my uncle and I immediately set up our sniper rifles to observe the situation. I saw three cars surrounding a huge drop box, next to the drop box was our team's pickup truck, the pickup truck was smoking and there were many bullet holes on the surface, you can imagine how fierce the battle was when my uncle and I climbed this small hill; Three of our teammates were hiding between the pickup and the drop box, and due to the huge number gap between them and the NPCs, they were basically beaten to the ground, and even the occasional fire didn't make much of a difference.

As soon as I grasped the situation, I sniped at one of the NPC enemies closest to the pickup, and I shot a headshot, and then my position was revealed after the shot went out, which was also the effect I wanted, so that some of the NPC's fire was transferred to me. The NPCs' firepower was interrupted for a split second, and three of my teammates seized the opportunity to kill one of the NPCs as well. Soon, the NPCs started attacking again, and half of the NPCs' sniper targets shifted to me.

Uncle didn't know when he changed * to *, and said to me, "I'm still not good at using *, so I'll use the method I'm good at helping you!" After speaking, he opened fire on the enemy while sliding down the hill. Thanks to Uncle's efforts, some NPCs were attracted to him, so I took the opportunity to shift my position and hit another NPC's body, causing it to fall to the ground injured.
