55 Tang Dynasty Religions

I think that the Imperial University is like a fragment of the world, or rather, the Imperial University is like a small world, and it has everything in the world.

If you analyze it carefully, various sects have appeared.

I mean, just as in Imperial University, all denominations have appeared in the world.

The wise Tang Emperor Li Hongsi declared that all sects were legitimate, and all sects appeared openly.

The reputation belongs to the emperor, but this work is still done by the imperial court.

Among so many sects, the most conspicuous are the two "cults" that have just been declared in Mongolia – of course, they are not now cults – Maitreya and the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect.

The end of Maitreya is the end of the "typical cult": it is disintegrated.

As soon as the new gods, Taoism, and Buddhism were declared unified as Maitreya, they heard the news of the new emperor's amnesty. After a quarrel between these three religions, most of the followers announced that they would break away from Maitreya and return to their respective religions. Only a small number of people remained in Maitreya and were loyal to Mia Qiang.

- But Maitreya doesn't actually exist anymore. The doctrine of Maitreya is that "to kill is to cross people", but now, the world is so free and so beautiful, who wants to kill people?

Mi Aqiang has no enmity with the imperial court, and the imperial court does not want him now, can he be guilty of opposing the imperial court? Mia Qiang has nothing to do anyway, and is still in front of his Maitreya sect leader. Although he and Maitreya claimed to rule the "Three Great Religions", the "Three Great Religions" had long since disobeyed him.

The new gods, new Taoisms, and new Buddhism, which had broken away from Maitreya, had a fierce conflict with the previous gods, Taoism, and Buddhism, and replaced them.

While I may say it as simple as I am, you'd expect the process to be bloody – but not at all. This process was too simple, and no one believed in the gods, Taoism, and Buddhism supported by the imperial court for a long time. When the imperial court did not send troops, did not pay money, and did not even support it in policy, the three King James sects immediately and quietly disappeared.

Yes, that is to say, the three major orthodox religions of the Tang Empire - Buddhism, Taoism, and Divine Religion - are the three major cults in the eyes of the previous imperial court: New Buddhism, New Taoism, and New God. Counting Kong Zhilun's "Neo-Confucianism", the four orthodox churches of the Tang Dynasty are completely opposite to the four orthodox churches of the previous imperial court.

Now, the head of the Cult of God is Yahjuen. The original Divine Cult Leader, Ye Anyi—in fact, he was only the "Divine Cult Leader" of the Hebei Imperial Court—hid in Yanjing, Hebei. Hebei's Divine Cult is the only Divine Cult that does not listen to the orders of the "Tang Divine Cult". Since most of the Cultists supported Yahzhuen, the court declared Yazhuen to be the head of the Cult.

Now, the head of Buddhism is Shakyatou. The new Shaolin was requisitioned by the imperial court several times, and the so-called "Buddhist master" died many times, and now the people who call themselves "Buddhist masters" are not very famous. Shakyatou is the presiding officer of the Shaolin Temple, relying on the support of the "Shaolin Army" to seize the position of the head of Buddhism. Since most Buddhists supported Shakyatou, the imperial court declared Shakyatou to be the head of Buddhism.

Now, the Taoist leader is Zhang Jiujiao. He is the younger brother of Zhang Baji, the former head of Wudang. Like Zhang Baji, he won the position of head of Wudang through a bloody competition. Zhang Jiuji, the head of Wudang, relied on the support of the "Wudang Army" to seize the position of the head of Taoism. Since the Taoists all supported Zhang Jiujiao, the imperial court announced that Zhang Jiujiao was the Taoist leader.

All in all, the means by which the three major Orthodox sect leaders of the Tang Dynasty obtained their positions were very simple. They took people to the headquarters of the Archchurch in Chang'an, and said to the original sect leader and supervisor, "Get out. So the original leader and supervisor obediently got out, and a new leader was born.

Although the Maitreya Sect has been divided, the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect is still very loyal, and its followers have always been loyal to the sect.

It's only natural that last year Poison Wanqiang - poor Poison Wanqiang is dead - killed so many disloyal cultists, and the rest were naturally loyal.

It can be said that the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect is the most existential sect, but there is one thing: it has changed its name. Now the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect is no longer called the "Ten Thousand Poisons Sect", but the "Holy Doctor Sect".

What the hell! Why do you sound so righteous as a "cult"? In the past, the doctrine of the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect was: survival of the fittest, but now the doctrine of the Holy Medicine Sect is: harmonious coexistence. Those people have changed so peacefully, I don't know what they think!

Probably they listened too much to the master. In the past, the sect leader said that "we want to oppose the imperial court", so they all "oppose the imperial court"; Now the leader of the church says, "We have to live," and they all "live."

I met with the Holy Doctor Sect Leader Wan Poison Bao and the Maitreya Sect Leader Mia Qiang in Chang'an. When we met, everyone was quite embarrassed. A few months ago, I felt like we were forever enemies, enemies to the death. I didn't expect it, I didn't expect that a few months later, I, as an official of the imperial court, and they were guests of the imperial court, we actually drank together!

In the Chang'an Enchantress Hotel in Xi'an County, we ate and drank together.

Wan Poison Bao was still glued to Miao Huahua, completely ignoring the singer who was toasting next to him. I'm sure those guys and singers who don't know the situation must be wondering, "Why does the young, handsome, chic, domineering, and Xuanhe Holy Doctor Sect leader have to like such a half-old woman who looks like a Qinglou woman?" ”

Wan Poison Treasure gave me a thumbs up: "Boss! The most convincing thing in this world is you, the boss! You're so powerful, you even dare to kill the Death Sect Master! Forget it about killing the leader of the Death Sect, even the emperor dares to kill him! If you dare to kill, forget it, and walk around like no one after you kill it. Not only is it fine, but he has also become a big official! ”

I was so frightened that I quickly looked around, and the guys and singers were all surprised.

I said, "Don't talk nonsense! Don't talk nonsense in public! How many times have I told you? When you know what to say and not to say, you'll grow up! Why are you still so naïve?! ”

I said to them, "Don't talk about it again." Oh yes, what's going on in Mongolia? What happened after I left? ”

Wan Poison Bao said, "It's nothing. We're back. ”

Mia Qiang glanced at the Ten Thousand Poison Treasure and told me about Mongolia.

Poor Emperor Dayuan, the leader of the Death Sect, they just called themselves "Emperor Dayuan" and "Sect Master of the Death Servant" less than an hour ago, and they died.

It took seven or eight years for Cao Mu Zhen to unify the thousands of tribes in the Western Regions and Mongolia. The Mongol armies in the Western Regions were far stronger than the inland armies, so these millions of troops were able to sweep through the interior. Sadly, he died like that.

Mongolia immediately fell apart.

Zhao Zhuojun barely managed to maintain a semblance of peace in Mongolia. He proclaimed himself the commander of the Mongols, but this was only a superficial commander, and he could not lead an army to attack the interior. Ironically, the imperial court heard that he was the Mongol governor and appointed him as the Mongol governor. Probably he felt that it was inappropriate to be in vain, so this traitor turned out to be the governor of Mongolia appointed by the imperial court.

And the Western Regions were still the territory of the slave general Li Hongguang. Originally, he had taken refuge in Cao Mu Zhen and decided to follow the "Great Yuan Emperor" to get a piece of the pie, and when Cao Mu Zhen died, he recognized himself as the "Governor of the Western Regions" in Dihua City. When the imperial court saw that he recognized himself as the governor of the Western Regions, it named him the governor of the Western Regions, so he really became the governor of the Western Regions of the imperial court.

After the death of Kusaki Zhen and Nameless, the Death Servant Sect immediately lost its backing, and its own survival became a problem. After Nameless's death, the deputy sect leader Xin Yongqiu established himself as the leader of the Death Serving Sect. He said that he was a descendant of the royal family of the previous dynasty and wanted to lead the Death Church to overthrow the Ming Dynasty.

Xin Yongqiu ruled the major "cults" in Mongolia in the name of the Death Cult - but no one paid attention to him. The former leader of the Death Sect Nameless once said in public that when the dog swallows the moon on the day, when the nine stars are aligned, it is the time of the apocalypse and the time of changing the dynasty. At that time, the Son of God and the Prophet would descend from heaven and lead the Death Servant Cult to rule the world. It's a pity that none of these exist, so why should the "Ten Cults" listen to the words of the Death Church?

The 10 major cults in Mongolia actually fought with the Death Servant Sect, and both sides suffered heavy casualties.

Their fight angered the Mongols. The Mongol army surrounded the major cults and drove them all out of Mongolia.

Hey, I didn't expect things to come to this point.

I said, "It's okay, the world is settled." ”

Mi Aqiang shook his head and said, "The Death Sect contacted us a few days ago and asked us to attack Chang'an. ”

Me: ". ”

Mia Keung: "I said the same thing. But the Death Servants said they would do it even if no one helped them. ”

I thought about it for a moment, well, it makes sense, if the Death Cult doesn't do that, they are not the Death Cult. For them, it doesn't matter whether they overthrow the Ming Dynasty or the Tang Dynasty, and it doesn't even matter whether they overthrow the imperial court, their only purpose is: death.

Mi Aqiang: "Although we are rivers and lakes and you are the imperial court, I still remind you to pay attention to Xin Yongqiu, that madman." ”

I nodded and said goodbye to them.

Along the way, various sects were seen recruiting.

As long as the sects are not anti-court, the court is too lazy to pay attention to them; As long as the court did not oppose the sect, the sect did not bother to pay attention to the court - so they were at peace for the time being.

It is between them that the conflict really erupts.

For example, the Women's League and Maitreya are mortal enemies. It is said that the doctrine of the Women's League is that women are the most important, and the (new) doctrine of Maitreya is that God is the most important, and they should not be in conflict, but they have conflicts in their masters, so they have conflicts. Of course, this conflict cannot be explained explicitly, only by doctrinal conflicts. The Women's League said that since Maitreya only respects God and not women, it is a cult and must die.

In addition, because the women's league also opposes negative men, opposes lewd Qinglou, opposes hypocritical scholars, opposes lowly commoners, and opposes vulgar private gangs...... If there is a cult, I think the Women's League is a cult. But it is not anti-Tang or anti-emperor, so although everyone wants to list the Women's League Sect as a cult, the emperor still does not agree.

In addition, the religion of equality and the religion of liberty are incompatible, the religion of truth and the religion of Maitreya and the religion of commerce are incompatible, and the religion of no posterior and other religions are also incompatible...... It can even be said that any one religion is not compatible with the others.

The imperial court was so foolish that it gave up being the enemy of the sects, so the sects became enemies of each other. How clever!

The only cult is the Death Cult. This is universally recognized. The court thought so, the religions thought so, and even the Death Church itself thought so.
