Postscript 1

Tianbao's three years is a quiet year. In the history books, there are few things worth writing about this year. Although it is rumored among the people that a divine fire has descended in Chang'an and taken away many people, the official is secretive.

At the same time, Tianbao Sanzai is also an important year, and many people - including Datang himself - have undergone a huge turning point in this year.

In April, He Zhizhang's carriage returned to his hometown in Sanyin, but the He Mansion closed the house and did not receive any guests on the grounds that the old man was tired of traveling and traveling. It didn't take long for the news of He Zhizhang's sudden death at the age of eighty. The father and squire of his hometown only had the opportunity to read the two poems left by the old man after returning to his hometown, and no one was able to see him in person. The news reached Chang'an, the Son of Heaven dropped out of the dynasty to mourn, and the Manchu Dynasty civil and military tributed poems, which became a cultural event in the three years of Tianbao.

At the same time, Wang Zhonghe, who was far away in Shuofang, suddenly launched an offensive against the Turks several times more fierce than before, and had the potential to level the steppe. After several months of fierce fighting, the Turkic Usumish Khan was defeated and killed, and his successor, Baimei Khan, was also killed the following year, and the rest was annexed by the Hui. Since then, on the steppe, the name of Turk has not been heard of.

While the Shuofang was fighting fiercely, the northeast was peaceful. A general named An Lushan was promoted to the envoy of Fanyang Jiedu and Hebei Interview Envoy in September of this year, and he still served as the envoy of Pinglu Jiedu, becoming a rising political star in the Tianbao Dynasty. His loyalty was impeccable, and he won the unanimous approval of everyone from the Son of Heaven to the Right Minister, who believed that he could rest assured that the Hebei region could be handed over to him.

But these are not the things that the Son of Heaven is most concerned about. At the end of the third year of Tianbao, he officially accepted Taizhen in the palace, and couldn't wait to make him a concubine the following year. Since then, the princess and concubine have lived a life like a fairy couple in Xingqing Palace.

The Jing'an Division, as a temporary government office, was soon disbanded. Jing'an Sicheng Li Mi wrote a letter to resign, left Chang'an and began a journey to seek Taoism in Xianshan. This anecdote was rumored to be a beautiful talk among the residents of Chang'an for a while. Although he returned to Chang'an halfway, he left again under the persecution of Yang Guozhong and others.

lost the crown prince Li Heng, who had the most powerful help, and only lived a peaceful life for two years. Since the fifth year of Tianbao, the right minister Li Linfu has set off several major cases one after another, such as the Wei Jian case and the Du Youlin case, each time shocking the government and the opposition and implicating countless people. The crown prince has lost many cronies, and even forced to have two marriage changes, which is very embarrassing. He was so worried that his temples turned white.

This situation lasted until the Anshi Rebellion in the fourteenth year of Tianbao. Li Heng did not go to Shuzhong with the Son of Heaven, but fled to Lingwu to ascend the throne and respected the Son of Heaven as the emperor. As a result, the Tang Dynasty formed three forces: Emperor Taishang of Shuzhong, the Son of Lingwu and King Yong in Jiangling.

At this moment, Li Mi, who had not appeared for a long time, came out of the mountain again and came to assist Li Heng, but he resolutely refused to accept the official position and was only willing to stay as a guest secretary. Under his planning and scheduling, Li Heng was able to turn defeat into victory, defeat the rebels outside, suppress the Emperor Taishang and King Yong internally, and finally conquered the great cause of recovery, and was called "the prime minister in white". After the success, Li Mi resigned again and hid in the mountains and forests. After the death of Suzong, the emperors of Daizong and Dezong called him back to the dynasty as the prime minister, and Li Mi appeared several times as the prime minister, and returned to seclusion several times. In his life, he went through the four emperors of Xuan, Su, Dai, and De, and he rose and fell in all directions, and accumulated meritorious contributions to the Marquis of Ye County.

In addition to Li Mi, another legendary figure emerged in the Anshi Rebellion. This man was not from Middle-earth, but a Jing monk named Is. Is's vision is extraordinary. He was active under Guo Ziyi's account, served as a strategist in the army, and was appointed as a doctor of Jin Ziguanglu, a deputy envoy of Tongshuo Fangjiedu, a prisoner in the palace, and a purple robe. The Persian Temple was renamed Daqin Temple in the fourth year of Tianbao, and the development of Jingjiao in the Tang Dynasty reached its peak. In the second year of its construction, Yisi placed a stone tablet in the courtyard of the Great Qin Temple, named "The Popular Chinese Tablet of Jingjiao in the Great Qin" to commemorate the difficult process of the introduction of Jingjiao into Middle-earth. This monument has been passed down for thousands of years until today.

But whether it is Li Mi or Is, if you talk about the ups and downs of fate, they are not as legendary as Yuan Zai. After three years of Tianbao, this person's career was smooth all the way, and with a humble body, he married Yun Xiu, the queen of Wang Zhonghei, and it was a strange talk for a while. After the Anshi Rebellion began, Yuan Zai took advantage of the time to move, seized every opportunity, and gained the special respect of Suzong Li Heng and became one of the top echelons of the imperial court. After the death of Suzong, he colluded with the powerful eunuch Li Fuguo, and finally ascended to the throne and became a pivotal minister of the Daizong Dynasty, monopolizing power. Even Li Mi couldn't compete with it.

However, after Yuan Zai's dictatorship, he accepted stolen goods, was corrupt and extravagant, and acted without scruples. His wife and son also ran amok and were very arrogant. Daizong finally couldn't bear it anymore and ordered him to be arrested and killed. After Yuan Zai's death, according to the law of the Tang Dynasty, his wife was exempted from death, but Wang Yunxiu said: "The thirteen ladies of the Wang family, the maid of the Taiyuan Festival for twenty years, and the wife of the prime minister for sixteen years, who can write a long letter and Zhaoyang?" It's a blessing to die!" and died with him.

But there are other people who have not been able to leave some traces in the history books like them.

After the Anshi Rebellion was pacified, such a book suddenly appeared among the people, called "An Lushan Deeds", signed by Yao Runeng, the lieutenant of Huayin County. However, the author's life is completely blank except for this book, and it is not known what motivate him to write such a book.

This book records the life of An Lushan, which is divided into three volumes: the first, the middle and the second, of which in the second volume, Yao Runeng mentions such an incident:

On the 15th day of the seventh month of the fifteenth year of Tianbao, the rebels approached the capital, and Xuanzong led the people to flee Chang'an in a hurry. When they arrived at Maweipo, the crown prince Li Heng, the general of Longwu Chen Xuanli and others conspired to launch a mutiny and eradicate the traitorous minister Yang Guozhong. On this day, Yang Guozhong met several Tibetan envoys outside the Maweipo Post Station, and he was talking to them, when suddenly a large number of soldiers gathered around, shouting that Yang Guozhong had colluded with the Tibetans.

Yang Guozhong was shocked and was about to open his mouth to denounce. A knight named Zhang Xiaojing rushed out of the ranks, first shot Yang Guozhong off his horse with an arrow, and then cut off his head and mutilated the corpse.

With Zhang Xiaojing taking the lead, the morale of the soldiers was greatly boosted, and they surrounded the post station in one go, demanding that the Son of Heaven execute Yang Guifei. Xuanzong was forced to have no choice but to hang Yang Guifei to death, and the army retreated. This is the famous Maweipo Mutiny.

This mutiny changed the fate of many people. But who the knight who made the first announcement, what his origin was, and what his fate was afterwards are not mentioned in the book, leaving only a name, as if he had been born out of thin air.

Perhaps, when Yao Runeng wrote this paragraph, he suddenly couldn't suppress the surging in his heart, so he wrote this name by hand. As for why he is like this, it is not for future generations to know.
