Ba County

It was a county-level administrative division in ancient China, which governed parts of today's Chongqing and Sichuan provinces.

In the first year of King Zhou (314 years ago), Qin placed Ba County, and the county governed Jiangzhou County (one said that Langzhong County was initially placed, and then moved to Jiangzhou County, now Jiangbei District, Chongqing, China), and the county initially governed Jiangzhou (now Jiangbei District, Chongqing), Dianjiang (now Hechuan District, Chongqing), Langzhong, Jiangyang, Danqu (now Qu County, Sichuan), and 6 counties of Fu County, and then successively established 5 new counties.

In the fifth year of Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (202 years ago), Ba County was still placed, and the following year, Jiangyang and Fu counties were changed to Guanghan County. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty in the fifth year of Yuanfeng (106 years ago) placed the 13th History Department, Ba County Zhiyizhou Thorn History Department, the county governance is still Jiangzhou County, the jurisdiction of Jiangzhou (now Chongqing Jiangbei District), Dianjiang (now Chongqing Hechuan District), Langzhong, Anhan (now Nanchong, Sichuan), Chongguo (now southern Sichuan County), Danqu and other 11 counties.

During the reign of Emperor He of the Han Dynasty (89-105 years), three counties were added, including Xuanhan (now Dazhou City, Sichuan) and Hanchang (now Bazhong City, Sichuan).

In the first year of Xingping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (194), Yizhou Mu Liu Zhang divided Ba County into three: Ba County to the north of Dianjiang, Yongning County from Jiangzhou to Linjiang (now Zhongxian County, Chongqing), and Guling County from Quren (now Yunyang County, Chongqing) to Yufu (now Fengjie County, Chongqing).

In the sixth year of Jian'an (201), Yongning County was renamed Ba County, and the county governed Jiangzhou County. The Southern Qi Dynasty moved to govern present-day Banan District, Chongqing.

Shu County

The vicinity of Chengdu was originally under the jurisdiction of the ancient Shu Kingdom. In the fourth century BC, the ancient Shu king Kaiming V (another version is Kaiming IX) moved the capital from Fanxiang (now Shuangliu County) to Chengdu.

During the reign of King Qin Hui, the Marquis of Shu, who was sealed in Hanzhong, was friendly with Ba, and Shu had a bad relationship with Ba, which caused the displeasure of the King of Shu. "Justice Huayang National Chronicles" recorded: "The king of Xishu sealed his younger brother in Hanzhong, called Hou Hou, and called Jia Meng because of his fate." The Marquis of Tho and the King of Ba are good, and the King of Ba is the enemy, so the King of Shu is angry and cuts down Tho. Tho Pemba, ask for help from Qin. Qin sent Zhang Yi to cut down Shu from the Meridian Road. "King Qin Hui destroyed Shu in 316 BC. King Qin Hui also destroyed Tho and Ba.

The Qin State established Chengdu County in Chengdu in 316 BC. When Shu was first annexed by Qin, it was not peaceful. In the first year of King Zhou (314 BC), King Qin Hui Fengzi Tongguo was the Marquis of Shu, with Chen Zhuang (a Chen Zhuang) as the phase, and the scope of governance was in the old Chengdu of Sichuan, Long'an, Tongchuan, Yazhou, Qiongzhou and Baoning Mansion to the west of the Sword Pavilion, that is, the ancient Shu Kingdom, and the current Chengdu County. In the fourth year of King Zhou (311 BC) (the sixth year of Yizuo (309 BC)), Chen Zhuang rebelled, killed the Marquis of Shu, and Qin cut down Shu. Qin made two more marquis of Shu, but they did not get along well with the king of Qin. In 277 B.C., the Qin State placed Shu County, set up a county guard, and Chengdu was the seat of Shu County.
