The citizens of the three Baltic states are bent on revenge and the elimination of the threat to their homeland forever because the Soviet Union had destroyed their homeland before; As for the Poles who also chose to take part in the war against the Soviet Union, it was not only for the hatred of the country and the festival between the two countries that it was "since ancient times"; In Ukraine, which is the core of the Soviet Union, it is clearly divided into two factions, most of the citizens support the Soviet government, and after the fall of the cities, they even go down to the countryside to fight guerrillas, while the Ukrainian peasants, especially the rich peasants and middle peasants in the past, show a strong hatred of the Soviet regime, and the puppet army they organized killed even more partisans than the German army.

It is also easy to understand why this situation occurred, most of the citizens of the Soviet Union were working class, they were the ruling class of the Soviet Union, and the income and political status of the workers of no country in today's Shijie could be compared (Note 1), and the middle and lower class intellectuals such as engineers and teachers also lived happily after two and five years. Therefore, they were as strong as the working class in supporting the Soviet government. Moreover, because of the relatively higher level of education, the national consciousness of the citizens is generally stronger than that of the peasants, which is also an important motivation for them to persist in the struggle.

This was not the case with the peasants in the Soviet Union, unlike the Chinese Revolution, which relied largely on the peasants to achieve victory, because in the October Revolution Soviet Russia basically relied entirely on the working class and the old army to seize power, the peasants' help was very limited, and after the establishment of the new regime, most of the richer peasants did not cooperate with the government's grain requisitions, and even fought fiercely. Therefore, although the CPSU had a sickle pattern in its flag, it often regarded the peasants, especially the relatively wealthy rich peasants and middle peasants, as the object of struggle, so it naturally did not be polite to them. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the sense of superiority of the people in the city.

Moreover, the early industrialization of the Soviet Union required capital, and the Soviet Union at that time could not plunder foreign countries like the colonizers, and there was no other way than to use scissors to mean the peasants, and this naturally aroused greater dissatisfaction among the Soviet peasants.

This problem was further exacerbated by the Holodomor in Ukraine, when it was unlikely that tens of millions of people would have died, as later Western propaganda would have been, but two or three million should have been. During that difficult period, although the citizens of Ukraine had a hard time, they basically survived thanks to the efforts of the Soviet government, that is, almost all of them died Ukrainian peasants. Therefore, it is not surprising that after the German occupation of Ukraine, so many Ukrainian peasants will betray the Soviet Union and serve the invading army
