The endless gap like a black hole was constantly emitting black energy towards the earth, sucking his gaze directly into it.

At the same time, some kind of presence inside felt his gaze.

A pair of scarlet eyes opened and looked at him with a sense of feeling.

Under the eye of that gaze, an energy mixed with various negative emotions such as destruction, greed, blood, and killing was transmitted to Kukai's mind, and began to erode his sanity.

No matter how he used the Buddha's power to resist, he couldn't even break the Heavenly Eye and break free from the erosion of that negative energy.

When you are staring into the abyss, the abyss is staring at you.

Seeing that his sanity was about to be eroded by the unknown existence, Kukai resolutely carried the Buddha fire and set himself on fire.

To this day, he still doesn't know the name of the being he saw that day.

The whispers that do not belong to human beings have been transmitted to Kuhai Ear.

"I am willing to gather all my life's cultivation and leave a trace of good seed for the sentient beings of the Three Realms."

Where the empty sea dissipated, a wisp of pale Buddha light condensed into a small grass, swaying on the other side of the River Styx.
