So there was no way, I could fight as much as I could, and I immediately ordered the number detected by the artillery radar to be detected in real time to the artillery regiment...... With a burst of artillery fire, the Vietnamese artillery fire quickly became mute.

At the same time, this is also a message to the devils and the front-line soldiers of our army: the artillery sighting radar has reappeared!

Obviously, this information alone can achieve the morale of our army and shock the Vietnamese army in a very large way. Because this almost means that our army can fight artillery, and the devils can only be beaten...... This is one of the reasons why I planned this month-long artillery battle, our purpose is to boost morale and deter the Vietnamese army, right? Since artillery warfare can basically achieve this purpose. So why not?!

But then again, no equipment in the world is invincible, and any equipment has its weaknesses and flaws, and these weaknesses and flaws are often discovered and exploited by the enemy first.

This is not difficult to understand, for example, the artillery sighting radar used by our army, all we can think of is how powerful this artillery sighting radar is, how it should be used in the next battle, and how it will hit the enemy again on the battlefield, without considering what weaknesses it has on the battlefield.

This is not the case from the enemy's point of view...... Not to mention the heavy casualties they have suffered under the artillery radar before, it is foreseeable that they will have to face the problem of artillery radar on the battlefield in the future.

This is also a problem of "natural selection, survival of the fittest"; if the more devils can't think of a suitable countermeasure, then what awaits them is to be eliminated in the war, which forces the devils to rack their brains to find the weaknesses and defects of our army's artillery sighting radar.

This can be said to be the charm of war...... If we look at it from a macro point of view, this is actually a kind of self-competition of human beings, just as we Chinese are familiar with the saying "when we are weak, we will be beaten", it is precisely because we do not want our countries and nations to be eliminated in the war, so all countries in the world strive to develop themselves and strengthen themselves, so that human society will progress to today's process.

Of course, war is not a good thing from the perspective of human nature, but there are many things in society that have been invented and created in the blows and counter-attacks of war, and from this point of view, war is actually the driving force for social progress.

The same is true for artillery sighting radar, and if the Vietnamese army does not want to be eliminated in the war, it will have to come up with some feasible ways to deal with it.

There are two weaknesses of artillery sighting radar, one is that the number is small, and the other is that the effect will be greatly reduced on rainy days.

The first weakness can be said to be quite strict, which we have not been aware of before, and we don't even think that it is a weakness, but now it is exposed as soon as the war starts.

Our army has only one artillery sighting radar, and to be exact, only one is used on the battlefield. Although at this time our army imported two more from Sweden, that is, a total of four. But two of them were used for dismantling studies...... The military industry has to disassemble these two gun-sighting radars imported from different countries and study them side by side, which will undoubtedly speed up the imitation process to a great extent. There is also a gunnery radar that is used as a backup in case the radar on the front line is blown up or malfunctions, and can be replaced in the event of an important battle.

So at the same time, there was only one artillery sighting radar used by our army on the front line.

According to exclusivity, the Vietnamese army only needs to know where our artillery sighting radar is...... It is not difficult to know this, the Vietnamese artillery and even the infantry can easily perceive whether our army has an artillery sighting radar, as long as the Vietnamese artillery position is accurately grasped, then there is basically an artillery sighting radar.

Since there is an artillery sighting radar at this location, and there is only one artillery sighting radar for the Chinese soldiers, it means that there is no artillery sighting radar at other locations.

The Vietnamese army's approach was to determine the position of our army's artillery sight radar, and the artillery in other places let go of the fire.

For example, the current situation is like this, we use artillery aiming radar to suppress the Vietnamese artillery in the direction of Zheyin Mountain, and the artillery of the Vietnamese army in other directions will be happy.

It should be said that the impact on our army is still quite large, because our army has the idea of underestimating the enemy because of the usual urine nature of the Vietnamese devil artillery; on the one hand, this is because our army has artillery sighting radar but the Vietnamese army does not, and on the other hand, our army's artillery is superior in numbers, and in artillery battles, it is generally caused by pressing the Vietnamese army.

As a result, many artillery units did not change their artillery positions for a long time, and the Vietnamese devils usually discovered the location of these artillery positions without making any difficulty, but only recorded them until they were sure that there was no artillery sighting radar in this direction, and then suddenly there was a fierce bombardment.

As a result, what makes me a little angry is that although our army has lost its voice in the direction of Zheyin Mountain, there is constantly information from other directions that our artillery units have suffered losses.

At first, we did not realize that there was any connection between the two, but whenever we fired at the Vietnamese artillery positions, the Vietnamese artillery in other parts of the country also fought happily, so we realized that the Vietnamese army had seized the weakness of our army's small number of artillery sighting radars.

The second weakness we had already discovered during the test of the artillery sighting radar before, but we also didn't think it was a big deal, at most we chose to strike at the Vietnamese army when the weather was good.

But the battlefield tells us that this is not the case.

I believe that this weakness was reported to Vietnam by the Soviet Union, because a weak country like Vietnam itself does not have experience and knowledge in the use of radar, and on the other hand, our army does not use artillery radar on the battlefield very often, and it is unlikely that the Vietnamese army will sum up this weakness in actual combat.

This is the value of intelligence, and the Vietnamese army quickly reacted accordingly when they learned this: they chose the time to return fire on a rainy day, and even if the weather was clear, the Vietnamese artillery could move at dawn...... The air humidity in Vietnam is very high, and fog tends to rise on the positions before dawn, and the fog will also reduce the performance and detection range of the artillery sighting radar in stages.

At this point, we have only two options, one is not to rely on the gun-aiming radar, and the other is to pull the gun-aiming radar closer.

But it is clear that the more you pull the gunning radar forward, the more dangerous it becomes, and this danger is not something we can afford.

Therefore, the role of artillery sighting radar has been greatly weakened under the various countermeasures of the Vietnamese army, and fortunately, we did not pin all our hopes on artillery sighting radar at the beginning, otherwise we would not know how to deal with this situation at this time.
