At that time, the plant urgently needed two copper pumps. The most difficult to process is the crankshaft, which needs to be forged and then machined according to the technical requirements. At that time, the forging equipment in the Hongxing Industrial Zone was in short use, so they took the method of breaking it into parts according to the existing conditions and processed it section by piece. In the spirit of "striving to save", they spent only a small amount of equipment, and in just three years, the output of synthetic ammonia was gradually expanded from 800 tons to 1,000 tons and 1,500 tons, and now they continue to move towards the level of 2,000 tons.

The production of a synthetic ammonia alone is not enough to meet the needs of agricultural production, and this thing is sprinkled into the ground and evaporates too quickly, so it can only be buried deeply.

Considering that if solid fertilizer ammonium nitrate can be used in mountainous areas, it will be more convenient to transport and store, so they decided to build an ammonium nitrate production workshop.

According to the requirements of that world, the production of ammonium nitrate required the construction of a five-story building to protect more than a dozen reaction towers and reactors, but they built all of them in the open field.
