Chapter 49: The Big Three

Houston is the largest city in Texas, the fourth largest city in the United States, and the largest economic center on the Gulf Coast.

Houston is world-famous for its energy (especially oil), aviation industry, and canals. The Port of Houston is the sixth largest port in the world and the busiest port in the United States, with the largest tonnage of foreign ships and the second largest port regardless of nationality. The Fortune 500 headquarters is second only to New York City. Houston is home to the Texas Medical Center, home to the world's largest and most important research and treatment facilities. Houston also has the lowest cost of living and housing prices among the 27 major metropolitan areas of the United States with a population of more than 1.7 million.

The think tank of the Urban Institute, described Houston as "one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse metropolises in the country." Houston's diversity is driven by a large number of immigrants, which is attributed to its relatively low cost of living, strong job market, proximity to Latin America, and role as a refugee resettlement center. Now known as the center of African-American political power, education, economic prosperity, and culture, Houston is often referred to as the next Black mecca.

And Olajuwon's influence on Houston is huge, and as soon as the Lakers got off the plane, many fans put up banners.

"Swept Out" plus a pig's head.

"You're Not as Good as Iverson"

"No Sea in Houston"

Kobe Bryant and O'Neal glanced at each other, these fans are really ......

"Guys, don't get affected, they're fighting us for the number one spot in the West. These things are here to disturb the mind. Rambis rushed to the occasion, fearing that a large number of rookies on the team had not experienced this kind of scene and would be disrupted.

Kobe Bryant doesn't care, but he sees O'Neal's neck thickened, and this game will be interesting.

At the hotel where the Lakers were staying at night, O'Neal found Kobe.

"Kobe, help me win this one." O'Neal's face was serious, Olajuwon had become his demon, he didn't know why he had hope for an 18-year-old rookie, what even a peak penny couldn't do, he actually believed that an 18-year-old hairy boy could do it.

But O'Neal has a keen instinct by nature, and he feels that Kobe Bryant may really be able to help him win this game, and O'Neal wants to win Olajuwon too much, and if he wants to become the league's No. 1 center, then he must win the championship from Olajuwon.

O'Neal and Bryant talked late, and they pulled Eddie Jones, Bruce Bowen, and Campbell over. A couple of starters plan to play a game that is very different from what they have done before.

There's no chance of winning with the Big Three, and they have a myriad of ways to break down your defences with one goal. Defensively, they have Olajuwon as a pillar of optimism. Referees often give privileges to these high-profile stars, who have a lot of experience to perform small actions.

If you want to win, you have to run.

In this game, Kobe Bryant will take the Lakers to run and run.

。。。。。。

"First up is our MVP power forward, the rebound hill, Charles Wade Barkley!" Barkley, with a fierce face, jumped onto the field.

"Now it's the University of Houston, Glider, Clyde Drexler!"

"The finale is our Houston King, Big Dream, Hakeem Olajuwon!"

The Compaq Center roared with joy, and their Big Three gave them the strength to cheer.

"It's not a small formation." Fisher ran up to Kobe Bryant and said to him.

"Relax, we're going to have a lot more big scenes than that."

The Lakers' starting lineup for this game was not adjusted. And the starting lineup of the Mosaic team is PG Matt Maloney, SG Mario Elie, SF Clyde Drexler, PG Charles Barkley, C Hakeem Olajuwon.

Before jumping the ball in the middle line, Olajuwon said to O'Neal, "Boy, are you going to be swept by me in the West this time?" ”

O'Neill's neck was thick again, and his forehead was bruised, this old rascal was really disgusting. O'Neill really wanted to take the No. 1 center position, but this Olajuwon was like a mountain that held him back for many years.

Olajuwon easily jumped away in front of a somewhat distracted O'Neal, and Matt Maloney controlled the ball through half court before handing it to Drexler at the top of the arc.

Drexler handed the ball to Hakeem Olajuwon under the basket, and the legendary center began the matchup.

Olajuwon knows that the current O'Neal's physical fitness has suppressed him, but Olajuwon is not false at all, he has never been a player who plays completely on his body.

Olajuwon held the ball with his back to his shoulder, his shoulder shaking to the left, but quickly turned to the right and cut in.

O'Neill didn't shake his head, blocking Olajuwon's path. saw Da Meng's dexterous foot turn again, and another left turn turned over and jumper.

O'Neal's center of gravity had stepped back and there was no way to interfere with Olajuwon, who was on a step-back jumper, and the ball went into the net.

O'Neal quickly picked up the ball, and after exiting the baseline, he threw the ball vigorously forward.

Bryant was already running to the front court when Olajuwon made a move, and Bryant jumped up on the empty half court to receive O'Neal's pass, and took three steps inside to fly and smash the ball into the basket.

"Bang."

"Yo, your little brother has two brushes. But can this stealing points win the game? Olajuwon said to O'Neal beside him.

"Better than the old guys around you who hug your thighs."

"What, are you looking for a beating?" Barkley's eyes widened, and the arrogant Sir Bar didn't like to hear about hugging his thighs and throwing himself into the enemy, and joining this kind of topic if he couldn't beat it.

"They're champions before you join." Bryant, who ran back to the halfcourt, intervened into the conversation.

Barkley couldn't say a word for a long time, and his heart was galloping.

Barkley decided to hit back at this kid with his performance on the field, and this kid was sharp-tongued and afraid that he would not please him in words.

Barkley elbows the ball, faces Campbell, and hits with his back. Campbell was pushed back by Barkley, who arched into the box and threw a shot.

"Boy, do you see? This is the power of the great Sir Ba. Barkley made a toning move that showed off his biceps and turned to look at Bryant. Bryant ran to the front court with the ball.

Matt Maloney followed Kobe Bryant closely, and he knew that if the ball missed again, he would be repaired by a few old hooligans in the locker room after the game.

Bryant didn't care about Matt Maloney's defense, and two big cross-dribbles broke through him, at which point Drexler stepped in.

Kobe Bryant is not greedy for the ball, and does not look at people passing the ball to Eddie Jones outside the three-point line.

Eddie Jones catches the ball and shoots and hits a three-point shot!
