Next Chapter

"Where are we going?" the little girl asked.

"I don't know what to do, but I want to live anyway. ”

The thick snow trapped the boy's legs entirely. He struggled to move, the sound of metal clashing with each step he took, and his hands and feet were chained together. Snowflakes rolled into his face like knives, and he didn't dodge, and he had nowhere to dodge. He stood tall like this, without even blinking an eye, dragging the chains, carrying the little girl on his back, and walked forward resolutely.

"I'm a little cold. The little girl said.

"I'm cold too, I'm cold together. The little boy said.

"Alright!" the little girl agreed.

Behind the two of them, deep footprints fell in the boundless snow white, and a faint red was faintly visible.

At the end of the footprints, it was not snow, but blood.

Blood stained the place, and everyone who fell had a surprised and frightened face, as if they had seen something unbelievably terrible.

Heavy snow fell and quietly covered it all.
