From this we can also see that the Vietnamese army we are facing is not inferior, because even in the situation where he was unable to open his eyes due to the sudden attack and tear gas, he was still able to judge our position by the sound of gunfire and throw a grenade very accurately beside our soldiers.

When I heard this, I thought that if there were only a dozen or even a few of them in that Vietnamese army...... Then maybe the tide of battle will be reversed. The reason is that the number of our troops is too small, as long as a grenade is thrown up to suppress the fire of our soldiers for a few seconds, the Vietnamese troops, who are forced by tear gas, will soon rush up like a tide and drown our soldiers.

But fortunately, this kind of thing did not happen, after all, there are very few military talents like this in the Vietnamese army. And it is conceivable that he is also very likely to be shot and killed in the ensuing battle.

Compared with the cost of one serious injury and two minor injuries of our army, the casualties of the Vietnamese army are miserable: the original garrison of the main peak was beaten into a honeycomb, and most of the wooden houses they erected were partition walls made of bamboo chips, which could not block the bullets of AK74 at all, and because they were already secondary kills when they hit it, the bullet holes were all the size of eggs, and there were even some bamboo pieces that were brought by the inertia of bullets.

Needless to say, the artillery observers let the explosives pack in the enclosed space and blow them to shreds, and the bloody blur could not even tell how many people could tell.

The worst was the company in the tent area. Dead, dead, wounded. And the death is very ugly. All of them had dirty faces, as if they had been executed crying out for the earth.

I believe that no soldier would want to die in such a way, especially since the Chinese and Vietnamese soldiers are two countries known for their bravery and tenacity.

"Report to the battalion commander!" Only then did Scar report to me: "The battle is over, and our army has successfully occupied the main peak of Kuolin Mountain!" Three of our soldiers were wounded! ”

There is even an episode in this that I don't know: the Vietnamese army was in charge of garrisoning the main peak of Kulam Son by a battalion commander surnamed Nguyen, who was shocked when he received the news of the loss of the main peak, but he did not report the situation to his superiors.

The reasons for this are twofold:

One is because this battalion commander Ruan is a cadre who has won the trust of his superiors, and he has never suffered a loss in many battles with the enemy on the battlefield. The disadvantage on the battlefield made him a little conceited. And this time it was such a big one...... Naturally, he didn't want this incident to affect his superiors to know the truth about this matter, and let it affect his image.

Another reason is that he knows from the intelligence on the front line that there are not many Chinese soldiers who raided the main peak. So he hoped to recapture the main peak again as quickly as possible, and then he could report to his superiors with confidence: "The Chinese elite troops raided the position of our main peak, but they have been repelled by our army!" ”

In this way, not only can you not damage your own image, but you can also turn bad things into good things, why not?!

So this Ruan battalion commander decided to suppress the information for the time being, and even when the neighboring friendly troops heard the sound of gunfire and explosions and asked about the situation, he deliberately lied about the military situation, saying that it was only a small number of Chinese troops sneak attack, and they had already controlled the battle situation and did not need support......

It seems that no matter which country there will be some officers who are reckless for utilitarianism, and fortunately we met such a Vietnamese officer on the battlefield, which bought us more time and a lot less danger.

It is said that Scar was still wondering when he fought this battle, obviously there were stations of the Yue devils all around, and he could form a flanking attack on the main peak at will, why was the Vietnamese army so stupid to rush desperately to the main peak from one direction, that is, the anticline.

Facts have proved that Battalion Commander Ruan obviously underestimated the combat effectiveness of these 30 or so Chinese soldiers, and the 30 or so soldiers led by Scar are selected soldiers from our synthetic battalion agent company, that is, the elite of the elite. The benefits of helicopters here are obvious:

On the one hand, the Vietnamese army's charge was from the anti-slope to the main peak, and at this time our army's long-range artillery could not play any role at all...... If you really want to fight, I'm afraid that only the main peak where our army is stationed can be hit. But the helicopter is different, it "whirring" a few times, it crosses the main peak, and then a big turn can shine on the anti-slope of the Vietnamese army, machine guns and rockets, only the charging Vietnamese army hugged the head of the rat and ran at all, there is no power to fight back.

On the other hand, you must know that Scar and the others all used paragliders to glide to the main peak of Kuolin Mountain, which determines that they do not carry much ammunition, and most of their equipment is small arms, and these ammunition was also partially consumed in a previous battle. Of course, when organizing the defense, Scar and others also knew that they would collect the weapons and ammunition of the Vietnamese army as preparations, but most of the equipment and ammunition of the Vietnamese army were blown up and damaged, and the ammunition of the Vietnamese army was stored in the anticline and there was not much ammunition on the main peak...... This is to be able to avoid the bombardment of our artillery fire.

Therefore, if you only rely on the ammunition carried by Scar and others and the captured ammunition to defend, I am afraid that you will not be able to prevent the Vietnamese army's attack at all.

But there are helicopters that are different, the helicopters at this time are helicopters full of ammunition, and they are equivalent to powder magazines in the air, especially the rockets, the two helicopters fired a salvo and immediately blew up the dense position of the Vietnamese army into a sea of fire.

As for Scar and the others stationed on the main peak, it seems that all they have to do is to indicate the target for the helicopter, give orders, or use the AK74 in their hands to clean up some fish that have slipped through the net.

In fact, to be honest, if it weren't for the fact that the battalion commander Nguyen concealed the military situation for his own selfishness, it would still be difficult for Scar and other thirty soldiers to hold the main peak, after all, the Vietnamese army can attack our army from several directions at the same time, plus the assistance of mortars, machine guns, bazookas and other factors that pose a threat to helicopters, this battle is actually not easy to fight.

Even we had the artillery battalion ready to use artillery shells to block the Vietnamese offensive in the direction of the positive slope, but these were not used for the time being.

In our battle plan, the next thing is the time for our agent company to parachute into the anticline of Kuolin Mountain. This airborne landing had to choose the anti-slope plane, because there were too many obstacles in the forward slope. That's the direction in which the Vietnamese army defended our army, isn't it? So the barbed wire, mines, bamboo sticks, and so on can be said to be everywhere, and we don't want to be blown up as soon as we reach the ground or the soles of our feet are pierced by bamboo sticks.

What is certain is that there are far fewer of these things on the anticline, and that is the more devil's own transportation and supply line, and if they make these on the anticline, they won't be tossing themselves!

Parachuting on the anticline was the only choice for us.

However, there is another problem here, that is, there are too many Vietnamese troops on the anticline. As mentioned before, the Vietnamese army always concentrated its main forces on the anticline. In this way, our airborne troops will immediately face the main force of the Vietnamese army when they are airborne on the anticline, and at this time our airborne troops have not even had time to assemble.
