Chapter 72: The Meditation Basin (First Update, Asking for Recommendation Votes)

William had lunch and dinner in the office, but Dumbledore hadn't returned.

He put down a copy of "Today's Transfiguration", walked a few laps, and did the ninth set of radio gymnastics in the principal's office to move his body.

Those principals were half-squinting again, trying to learn one or two body forging techniques from the Eastern Continent.

The most popular is Tai Chi, and just now a few principals complained that the frame was too small to show their bodies.

William also didn't understand where this group of portraits came from with so much energy, and how boring it was.

William leaned against the window, a small breeze blowing, and the whole castle seemed to be quiet.

The night is so beautiful.

He found the view of Hogwarts from here, apart from the tall tower of the Ravenclaw common room.

Unfortunately, it would be many years before Dumbledore would retire, otherwise William would have wanted to apply for the headmaster's position and inherit the office.

The night is getting deeper and deeper.

The Aurors, who had been standing guard at the school gate, also left.

Of course, judging by the map of the living spots, Dumbledore and Snape are also gone, exactly the same as yesterday.

William was bored, he spun around twice and returned to his chair.

Suddenly, he noticed a silver glow flickering in the glass box. He looked back for the source of the light, and found that the door of a black cabinet behind him was not closed, and a bright silver light was shining inside.

William hesitated for a moment, then got up and walked over and pulled the cabinet door open.

Inside the cabinet was a shallow stone basin with oddly shaped carvings at the mouth of the basin, which William recognized as Runiwen and a few other alchemical symbols.

But he didn't recognize the meaning of these fonts.

Ancient Runiwen was an elective subject that he had only started in the third grade, and he had not yet learned this level.

The silver light came from the contents of the basin, and it was like a bright piece of silver, but it was constantly flowing, like the water rippling in the breeze, and like a cloud, spreading out and swirling softly.

William looked down, and he expected to see the bottom of the stone basin—but beneath the surface of the mysterious substance was a carriage, and he seemed to be looking into it through a circular skylight.

William leaned his face closer, his nose an inch from the glassy substance.

He saw a few little wizards sitting in the carriage, as if arguing about something.

William recognized it as a Hogwarts train.

William continued to look down, as if he saw young Professor Snape...... It's too easy to recognize, and his temperament is almost exactly the same as when he became an adult.

William couldn't see what's going on in the corner. He leaned closer, the tip of his nose touching the surface of the strange substance.

Dumbledore's office suddenly toppled over—William's body lunging forward, head down in the pot.

But his hair didn't hit the pelvic floor. He fell in a cold, pitch-black mass as if sucked into a black vortex.

Suddenly, William found himself sitting on a bench in the carriage at the bottom of the basin with the foul sound of the train in his ears.

William knew what it was, he had seen it in some kind of alchemical science book.

- Meditation basin.

A very precious and rare alchemy item that can be used to view memories.

But it wasn't Dumbledore's memory, it was the memory of some young wizard in the carriage.

At this point, the noisy group of boys were talking, and only one girl was sitting in the corner by the window, her face pressed against the windowpane.

Moments later, young Snape pulled open the door and sat across from the girl. The girl glanced at him, then turned her head to look out the window, she had been crying.

"I don't want to talk to you." Her voice tensed.

"Why?"

"Penny her, she hates, hates me. Because we read her letter to Dumbledore. ”

"So what?"

She looked at him with extreme disgust.

"She's my sister!"

"She's just—" He quickly shut up, and the girl didn't notice what he said, too anxious to wipe her tears.

"But, Lily, we're going!" "That's it, we're going to Hogwarts!" ”

She nodded, wiped her eyes, and smiled reluctantly anyway.

"You'd better get into Slytherin!" Snape said she was encouraged by the fact that she was in a better mood.

"Slytherin?"

In the carriage, there was a boy who had no interest in Snape and Lily until he heard the word and looked away.

It was a boy with light black hair, a bit like Snape, but he had a pampered look on his face that Snape would never have.

"Who wants to get into Slytherin? I think I'd better get out of here, won't you go? The dark-haired boy smiled and asked the boy who was lying lazily across from him.

But the man didn't laugh.

"My whole family is from Slytherin." He said.

"Oops!" The brunette boy said, "I think you must be too!" ”

The man grinned.

"Maybe I'll break that tradition. If you had to choose, which college would you like to attend? ”

The brunette boy drew his sword out of thin air.

"Gryffindor, a house of warriors! Same as my dad! ”

Snape snorted with a slight scorn. The brunette boy turned to look at him.

"Do you think there's anything wrong?"

"No," said Snape, though his little sneer clearly didn't mean that, "as long as you're willing to be a simple-minded man with developed limbs......

"So which house do you want to go into? It looks like you have underdeveloped limbs and a very simple mind. The boy next to him interjected.

The brunette boy laughed, and Lily stood up, her face reddening, looking at the two in disgust.

"Let's go, Severus, let's find another carriage."

"Oo......oo

The two boys mimicked her cold and haughty tone, and the dark-haired boy tried to trip Snape as he passed him.

"See you later, snot!" A voice shouted, and the door slammed shut.

But the scene didn't go away.

This suggests that the memories do not come from Professor Snape and the girl named Lily.

The brunette boy said, "Meet me, my name is James Potter, just call me James." What about you? ”

"My name is Sirius Black."

The two shook hands.

William was stunned, this was actually the father of the famous Harry Potter, and the other was the betrayer in Hagrid's mouth.

"What about you?" Jaime asked the other children.

A boy dressed in tatters and with a somewhat pale face said, "My name is Remus Lupin, just call me Remus." ”

The boy next to Jaime was about to speak, but Jaime put his arms around him and smiled, "His name is Tywin, and he's my friend." ”

Tywin's face was crimson, a little resistant to this intimacy, and a little joyful.

It was then that William noticed that Professor Tywin, as Hagrid said, was really ordinary as a child.

Whether it is appearance or temperament, it has changed drastically from growing up, and there is no calmness that always smiles.
