The positions of these equipment all have similarities, that is, the tunnels used to hide them are in a similar arc...... Among them, anti-aircraft guns suffered the largest casualties, with a total of 7 casualties...... The reason is that the anti-aircraft gun is very inconvenient to hide, especially since it weighs more than 2,600 kilograms...... Even if there are wheels, it is very inconvenient to push it, so several fighters died heroically when rescuing anti-aircraft guns, and there were even two fighters after knowing that they could not save anti-aircraft guns...... With the mentality of dying with the artillery, at the last moment he also commanded the anti-aircraft gun to fire a volley of shells.

Although it is said that there will always be casualties on the battlefield, and such single-digit casualties of our soldiers should be said to be very small, this does not satisfy me...... Because I know that such casualties are completely avoidable and not worth it in these circumstances. So I made up my mind that after the war, I must ask the instructors to do a good job of ideological work for the soldiers!

So under such tactics of our army, the Soviet helicopter gunships can be said to be helpless against the mortars of our army...... One is that our mortar positions are very scattered and often built on commanding heights with good line of sight. When the helicopter came, it could be seen from afar. The other is that the mortar is easy to disassemble and assemble. Even light mortars do not have to be disassembled at all...... Dozens of pounds of things are hugged and run.

The helicopter came, and we hid in the tunnel. The helicopter is gone, and we will carry out the cannon again and continue to fight...... They gave full play to the guerrilla warfare method of "the enemy advances and I retreat, and the enemy retreats and we advance," and only made the Mi-24 of the Soviet army fly to this side and there as soon as the cannon sounds and flies there...... It's going to be fighting again, and I can't prevent it.

And mortars can be said to be killers of infantry...... In addition, these mortars had been calculated before the war, and they had even been test-fired, so the shells drilled into the crowd of the Soviet army as if they had eyes, and only made the Soviet army scream...... The charge at Pass No. 5 was knocked back before two hits.

In fact, this is also the fact that the Soviet army is not strong enough to fight...... How could a company rush up only to be killed by the explosion and then retreat, so rushing back and forth...... Isn't the end result more casualty?

However, it seems that the Soviet army cannot be blamed for this...... A troop that hasn't fought in decades. In addition, the living conditions in the Soviet Union are good, and the pampered ones are already a bit like the rich second generation. What's more...... This war meant little to ordinary Soviet soldiers...... This if which country invaded the USSR...... Then I think these Soviet soldiers will be different when they fight.

But the battlefield is the battlefield, there are not so many "ifs" on the battlefield, the fact is that the Soviet charge only needs a single shell to bring them down...... After they retreated, they did not consider whether they were not fighting resolutely enough, but repeatedly emphasized fire cover and helicopter cover...... This style of play is okay against ordinary guerrillas...... After all, the Afghan guerrillas did not think about so many fortifications, and even most of the guerrillas did not have the habit of building fortifications...... According to them, if you can beat it, you can fight it, and if you can't beat it, you can run, what are the fortifications used for? I worked hard for a long time to build the fortifications...... Can they all withstand the planes and artillery of the Soviet army?

In a way, their ideas make sense. Because guerrilla warfare should not be fought on the defensive, and fighting a defensive war is not beneficial to the guerrillas.

But...... If you want to hold an important place. For example, the base area, and then for example, our Xijieo Valley...... Then you have to build fortifications.

As we do now, without the support of fortifications...... It was almost impossible to fight the Soviet army, which had a large number of helicopters and tanks.

So the battle lasted from early morning to noon...... After four hours of fighting, I couldn't take down the No. 5 pass...... According to the Soviet army's style of play, it is strange that we can take down the mountain pass that we defended.
