Chapter 126: Bright
Coming out of the house, a feeling of powerlessness began to creep through López's body, and with a soft sigh, he looked up at the chaotic sky above.
There's really no sky, damn it, López thought silently in his mind.
He couldn't think of any strategy to deal with the situation in front of him or break the deadlock, it was strange and slim.
Now, López can only force himself to start wandering around aimlessly, although it may not be of much use, he can't just stay where he is, he has a lot more to do.
After a little cheering, López decided to investigate the surrounding houses first, maybe there would be any clues, just do it, López turned around and quickly ran to the nearest house on the right.
After kicking the door open, he raised his leg and walked straight inside.
Of course, López may have had the will to be heard to stop him.
If you look closely, the furniture in this room is much more dilapidated than the previous one, and of course, if you take it all away, you may be able to make a fortune.
López jokingly thought that he seemed to have some of Narse's love of money, but perhaps he was just trying to distract himself with his cranky thoughts.
López searched the entire house.
He first found a secret compartment under the bed in the corner of the room, and there was a treasure chest that was not very large, and after looking closer, he gently took the treasure chest out.
However, the box was locked with a lock, which of course did not bother López, and he drew his long sword, which split open the iron chest with a single sword.
But the contents of the box made López feel a little boring, and it was nothing more than a pile of gold coins and some jewels, which were of no use to him at all.
After closing the box, López threw it back into the dark compartment and turned to continue the search.
After a while, he found a letter on a table not far away that had not yet been sent.
He gently picked up the letter and read it:
Dear Mayor Sirries,
I'm sorry, I agree with you, but as you know, life is very difficult, so I can only contribute 10 coins as much as I can, which is all my belongings, and I ask for your understanding.
Poor Carl Benn
After reading the letter, López couldn't help but subconsciously glance in the direction of the dark grid.
"There are people who are more stingy than the master. He whispered.
However, there is one piece of information that is somewhat useful, it turns out that Sylis is the mayor of Davos.
After a moment's thought, López gently put the letter back in its place, only to find that there was another letter underneath that had already been opened.
However, because the letter in his hand was completely pressed on it, he didn't notice it.
Throwing the letter aside, López picked up the following letter and looked at it carefully:
Dear Townspeople,
For the sake of the development of Davos Town, we hereby raise funds for large-scale cultivation, and we hope that you will actively participate in the town.
Sylreus
"Raise money to raise flowers?" López muttered to himself softly, but those flowers were indeed beautiful, and they had the value of cultivating.
Throwing the letter on the table, López began to search again, but there was nothing left in the room to explore.
Sighing, López walked out with his feet up again.
Turning around and looking around, López decided to take a look at the two-story wooden house, which was quite grand for other houses.
But he had only taken a few steps when a muffled whimper came from behind him.
This made López quickly look back, only to see countless undead slowly approaching him.
He could even smell the rancid stench that was spreading in the air.
López raised his hand and drew his sword, then turned and ran away quickly, ready to distance himself from the undead.
However, as he ran, he found that there were also undead in front of him, which made López have to stop.
But at this time, the undead behind him had already caught up, and those undead quickly pounced on him.
López raised his hand and reflexively slashed the evil spirit in front in half.
But that didn't leave López much time to react, as the next undead had already pounced, so he had to hurry up and continue wielding his blade.
Although barely able to defend against the attack, the number of undead did not seem to have diminished due to his actions.
It's not okay to go on like this, López thought, and at the same time, his body reacted quickly, he pushed the blade hard, and directly threw the undead who were gnawing at the blade out of the air, and smashed it on the undead behind him.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, López quickly turned around and prepared to flee from this place.
On the way to escape, López took a look at the terrain and finally decided to take shelter in the second-story hut first.
The undead moved quickly, and soon caught up with López, but the cabin was still close in sight, and he slashed open the lock on the door, and then dodged inside.
Once inside, López pressed his hands against the door, and then had the time to look back at the inside of the cabin, and he was lucky to have a bookcase next to him that looked rather heavy.
After a short thought, he reflexively pressed against the wooden door, but the sound of "dong dong" behind him was still endless, and the huge force made Lopez a little unable to hold on.
With a deep exhale, he quickly raised his hands and grabbed the bookcase, and then pulled him over so that he could hold on to the fragile wooden door, so that he should be able to hold on for a while.
But López's heart was still a little bottomless, rubbing his forehead, he quickly moved all the things in the room that could be moved to the side of the cabinet.
The sound of the thump still showed no sign of stopping, which made López more and more helpless, he really couldn't figure out what those things were.
After a short rest, the bored López began to search the house again.
Although this is not the time to talk about this, the furnishings in this room are indeed much better than the two wooden houses I went to before.
The first floor was cluttered by López, but nothing useful was found.
Scratching the back of his head, he raised his feet and walked upstairs, the second floor seemed to be more ornately furnished.
To the north of the room, there was a gorgeous-looking table with a gem-encrusted quill and a dried flower from the town of Davos next to it.
There are also some things that look like seeds next to the flowers, and letters that are pressed under the flowers and seeds.
López first picked up the flower and smelled it, but there was no fragrance on it.
Immediately afterwards, he picked up the letter on the table:
The fragrance of this flower is intoxicating, oh, it will surely make the town of Davos shine again, I promise, no matter what, it will be planted.
There is no signature or attribution, which does not fit the format of the letter.
But it seems that the flowers outside are the product of later, and he thought they were native to Davos.
