First and foremost, of course, the reconstruction of the fortifications on Mount Fakka was one of the most difficult...... The reason is that although the offensive of the Vietnamese devils was repelled by us, in order to increase the difficulty of rebuilding our army's fortifications and the supply and transportation of Faka Mountain, their mobile artillery blockade of our Faka Mountain has never stopped.

This is yet another proof that there are two sides to everything...... Because the artillery is not as strong as our army, the Vietnamese devils have forced them to use the relatively flexible tactic of "mobile artillery" very frequently in peacetime. The Vietnamese army even mastered the time interval of our artillery bombardment because of this...... From the moment the Vietnamese fired the first shells, our artillery needed to observe, calculate, and then communicate with the artillery in the rear...... This interval is usually ten minutes, which means that after ten minutes the Chinese artillery shells will be flooded in.

As a result, the Vietnamese artillery always moved quickly after seven or eight minutes of fighting......

On the other hand, the artillery of our army, although it is stronger than the Vietnamese army...... However, because there is no good way to deal with this kind of "mobile artillery" of the Vietnamese army, it is often still in a passive situation.

Of course, our artillery is not always in a passive ...... For example, there was an artillery observer who came up with such a good method......

This artillery observer's surname is Chen, and he is called Chen Laosan because he is the third in the family...... From this, it can be seen that he came from an uneducated family, otherwise the name would not be like this!

But don't look at his name so unearthly, but he looks like a gentleman...... And also from the military school. It's just that I joined the army in a hurry before I graduated...... At this time, the troops needed such literate soldiers to enrich the troops. Therefore, they often let the cadets join the army before they graduate, and they learn while fighting.

In fact, this way will be much better than graduating from a military school...... The reason goes without saying. The knowledge from the actual combat experience textbook is blended together, coupled with the bloody pressure of the real battlefield...... It's definitely much better than staying in the classroom or on the training ground!

Chen Laosan thought of a solution to this problem...... Through observation, he found that the artillery positions of the Yue Devils were not much different from each other...... After his analysis, he believed that this was due to the fact that Vietnam was mostly mountainous and there were few open areas suitable for artillery deployment.

So he came up with a solution...... Record all the artillery locations where the Yue devils swam one by one, and number these places, and then write down the coordinates of the calculated ones......

So ...... The next time he found that there were Vietnamese artillery firing at the same location, he didn't need to calculate the coordinates at all, and immediately reported the coordinates to the artillery in the rear after picking up the drawings and the phone...... So you save a few precious minutes. It was these few minutes that enabled him to catch the Vietnamese artillery who had not had time to withdraw again and again and beat them to heavy casualties!

This method soon became widespread among artillery observers......

However, this method is not suitable for popularization, because such a popularization is ...... The more devils find the problem...... The speed at which the Chinese soldiers opened fire seemed to be noticeably faster than before, so there was no need to think about it...... The more devils immediately advanced the transfer time by a few minutes.

Although Chen Laosan's method could not deal a blow to the Vietnamese army because the Vietnamese army advanced the transfer time, his trick generally reduced the combat time of the Vietnamese army's "mobile artillery" by a few minutes...... Don't underestimate that it is only a few minutes, and the time accumulates...... As a result, the number of artillery shells fired by the Vietnamese troops at our positions was greatly reduced, that is, ...... Chen Laosan has relieved the pressure on our front-line soldiers to a great extent.

It also made it easier for us to build fortifications and deliver supplies on Mount Faka...... The density of shells used by the devils to block the supply lines of our army is less!

Secondly, we made the same preparations for the fortifications in the two highlands of Puliude and Zhaokashan......

Last Battle...... ALTHOUGH PU LIU DUC AND ZHAO KASHAN WERE NOT BOMBARDED BY 160MM MORTARS, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE VIETNAMESE ARMY WILL NOT BE ...... IN THE NEXT BATTLE It would be a nightmare for the defense of Mount Faka if the two heights were to lose firepower, as was the case with the caves being blown up and the munitions buried...... I lost the fire cover of the left and right flanks. Then the Vietnamese army can rest assured that it will boldly surround Phaka Mountain and launch an offensive from any direction!

So...... Although the fortifications of the two highlands of Puliude and Taka Mountain are still intact...... However, we have also built stronger, smaller openings on these two heights for the storage of ammunition.

Facts have proved me right in this thinking. Because in the next battle...... At the same time as the Vietnamese army launched an attack on Phaka Mountain, it also launched a fierce attack on the two heights of Pu Lud and Zhao Ka Mountain!

From this point of view...... The previous "raid" of the Vietnamese commander should be said to be too anxious...... IF HE COULD WAIT A FEW MORE DAYS, WHEN THEIR 160MM MORTAR SHELLS WERE ENOUGH TO ATTACK THE THREE HEIGHTS AT ONCE, IT WOULD BE MORE THAN JUST FAKA MOUNTAIN...... Even Pu Liude and Kha Shan were going to fall under the control of the Vietnamese army.

However, it seems that the Vietnamese commander cannot be blamed for this...... As he envisioned, the last time that kind of battle ...... It's impossible that this Faka Mountain can't be won, and the commanding heights of Faka Mountain will be taken down...... Napu Liude and Kashan are not in the bag?!

So this is not actually a question of "impatience", but of "misestimating the situation on the battlefield", or it can also be said that ...... He miscalculated me, the commander.

We do the last one to prepare...... It's scouting!

What I estimated before...... We had five days to prepare, and that was all guesswork...... Fighting a war cannot be done by guesswork, although it is sometimes necessary...... But there is a saying that if you often walk by the river, you can not get your shoes wet, even if you are lucky enough to guess correctly, but as long as you guess once, you can't guess correctly...... There's a good chance you'll never have a second chance to guess.

Therefore, it is necessary to closely observe the movements of the Vietnamese army......

For this reason, our army even dispatched reconnaissance planes to conduct aerial photography...... At this time, it is obviously no longer suitable to use helicopters for reconnaissance, and the Vietnamese devils already know that we are using helicopters to cooperate in combat...... At this time, a lot of anti-aircraft fire will definitely be equipped in the Vietnamese direction, and then the helicopter will be tantamount to looking for death.

The results of the reconnaissance turned out exactly as I had imagined...... Every day, a large number of cars are pumping in the direction of Faka Mountain, and sometimes you can photograph cars pulling cannons...... It is clear that the Vietnamese army is transporting shells and concentrated artillery in the direction of Phaka Mountain!
