Chapter 419: Candy
"There is one thing I have to apologize to you. Karkaroff felt that he was stupid before, how could he be dazzled by the reputation of the Three Witches Tournament, it was too unwise to stumble on Alan.
Karkaroff was a little hard to talk about, but he knew that it was much better to say something before it happened than to apologize after it happened. This is also a kind of surrender!
"Oh, you say. Allen's eyes narrowed, but his expression remained gentle.
"Given the strength you showed in the second race, Madame Maxime and I strongly asked for the third race to change the way the game was played. While the project hasn't been finalized yet, the game should be about the Warriors trying to use as little or no magic as possible. Karkaroff rubbed his hands uneasily.
Alan smiled and nodded, and Karkaroff let out a long sigh of relief, and his tense nerves relaxed.
Allen, who had subdued Karkaroff, wrote to Mr. Harris about the situation, and Allen, who was in a good mood all day, seemed to be doing everything exceptionally well.
In the evening, Alan leaned against the windowsill and looked out at the field, at the black, rustling treetops of the Forbidden Forest and at the sails of the Durmstrong ship.
A small eagle owl flew over the green smoke rising from the chimney of Hagrid's hut towards the castle, and then vanished around the owl hut.
Alan looked down and saw Hagrid digging vigorously in front of his hut. Alan didn't understand what he was doing, and it looked like he was cultivating a field to grow vegetables. Just then, Madam Maxime came out of Beauxbatons' carriage and headed for Hagrid. Looks like she wants to talk to him.
Soon the two of them stood together, and Alan saw Madame Maxim put her hand on Hagrid's hand, and the two huge figures were very close, and Alan's hand rubbed his chin repeatedly - did this Madame Maxim really have a crush on Hagrid, or did she want to take the opportunity to get information about the third game later?
But Alan's good mood only lasted until breakfast the next day. As Alan struggled with the sumptuous and delicious bacon, eggs, and pickled herring, the owl who delivered the letter flew in, and Alan looked up at the owl.
He wasn't the only one doing this, all the little wizards looked in amazement at Ron's location, and after a gray owl landed on the plate in front of him, four barn owls, a tan owl, and a grey forest owl flew in and out.
The Gryffindors around him got up and moved away from him, lest the spilled food stain his clothes.
More and more owls scrambled forward, all trying to be the first to get the letter to him.
"This—this is ridiculous—" Ron opened a letter, then viciously tore it to shreds.
The letter that Ron tore up had a strong English touch, it was a letter of encouragement, an encouragement of love. The owner of the letter shows fanatical support for Ron and Krum's love, believing that Ron has done what he wanted to do but was unable to do.
Some of the Hogwarts wizards also sent anonymous letters to Ron through the owl, believing that Ron was too brave and that they would never dare to disclose their sexuality as Hogwarts wizards.
There was also a very peculiar letter, not handwritten, but as if it had been spelled out with letters cut out of Wizard's Weekly.
You're a vile bad wizard. You must have shamefully used an aphrodisiac to confuse Krum and Harry Potter. They deserve better men. Go back to your Burrow.
"These are all kinds of letters!" Ron's expression grew impatient, and he tore the letters open one by one, saying in despair, "Krum deserves a man a hundred times stronger than you...... You should be boiled in green algae......"
He swept the letters to the ground haphazardly, and had no patience to read them any longer.
Beneath the letters, a huge package is revealed. The package is delicately wrapped and finished with a purple bow. On the top of the wrapping paper is written: To the cutest red-haired boy in the world - Ron Weasley.
Ron patted the package, and he gently ripped open the bow and tore open a corner of the wrapper, revealing the colorful candy wrapper.
"It's candy. Ron was finally a little happier. He reached through the torn corner and grabbed a handful of candy.
He happily held it in front of him, wanting to smell the sweetness of the candy. Suddenly, he screamed and waved his arms desperately.
Just as he was leaning his nose to the candies, the colorful candies suddenly turned into large black spiders and quickly crawled on top of his hands.
With Ron's swing, the broken package began to vibrate and tear apart with a pop, and black spiders poured out of it.
Ron jumped onto the stool in fright, but the spiders sped in his direction as if they had spotted him. What frustrated him the most was that some spiders were thrown on his head and face, probably with too much force when he was swinging his arms.
The spiders climbed up the legs of the chairs, and Ron jumped off the chair screaming, staring at the spiders with wide eyes, and retreating as he looked, and many of the little wizards laughed maliciously when they saw Ron's embarrassed appearance.
Wherever Ron passed, the little wizards jumped on their chairs one after another, and no one made a move, and it seemed interesting to see Ron out of his mouth.
Before he knew it, Ron retreated to Ravenclaw's table, and the spiders were much faster than him, covering him so densely that Ron couldn't bear the fear anymore and fainted.
Seeing the worried expressions on the faces of the Weasley twins and Ginny, and under the surprised gaze of the Ravenclaws, Alan sighed and stood up, his wand pointed at the dense spiders, and at the same time a plume of black smoke came out of the spiders' bodies, crackling like fried beans, and then disappeared without a trace.
Alan didn't make another move, and calmly sat back in his position. If it weren't for the fact that he saw a few of the spiders in the swarm being particularly venomous, and that Mrs. Weasley mailed him gifts every Christmas, he thought it would be funny that Ron was treated like this.
These spiders reminded Alan of the eight-eyed giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest, which multiply quickly, and although the soul energy that can be extracted is far less than that of wizards, it is relatively easy to eliminate the unnecessary parts, but it is very suitable as a tonic for absorbing souls, and most importantly, it is estimated that no one will have any sympathy for the disappearance of this kind of thing except Hagrid, not to mention that it is illegal for Hagrid to let them live in the Forbidden Forest.
While everyone's eyes are drawn to Ron, Luna also receives a letter from the four owls.
Faced with the owls desperately trying to attract Luna's attention, Luna picked up a plate of cured meat and put it in front of her, allowing the owls to enjoy it, and then unhurriedly dismantled the letter from the owl's feet.
