Chapter 10: From the Sight of the Sunseeker
Next.
In his mage tower, the elven mage Hadron was flipping through the materials when he stumbled upon the special letter of recommendation from Orondo.
Delon Seferosa's son.
and the son of that one.
The elf thought about it and decided to report it.
With Orondo's special letter of recommendation, Hadron went to one of the six tallest mage towers in Violet Academy.
"Good day, may the sunwell always favor you, Hadron."
"Good day, Romans."
After greeting a colleague, Hadron took out the special letter of recommendation, "There is something I would like to talk to Your Highness. β
"Your Highness is having breakfast now, he already knows of your arrival, you can go over." Romans whispered.
Hadron nodded, entered a long hallway, and entered a room under the gaze of several elves.
There, an extremely handsome male elf with blonde hair and blue eyes sat in his place, smiling at him.
"You've got a mouthful, Hadron. I had fresh blood thorns from Quel'Salas today, and I asked the chef to chop them up, toss them with cream, and served them with Dalaran's grilled veal steak, and they tasted great. β
"Thank you, Your Highness. But I've already had breakfast. I've come to you because there's something I think I should ask you to see. Hadron waved his special letter of recommendation at the elven prince Kael'thas Sunstrider.
"Okay. Please show me. His Royal Highness's voice was as gentle as ever.
Hadron respectfully sent the letter of recommendation.
When the elven mage saw his Royal Highness the prince, he read the special letter of recommendation very carefully.
"A letter of recommendation? The letter was written by a lord in the northern part of the hills of Hillsbrad, the Earl of Talenmere. After carefully reading the letter of recommendation, Prince Kael'thas looked up at Master Hadrun, "Is there anything I need to pay attention to in this human count?" I don't see it in any speciality. β
"The human Earl of Talenmere is nothing, the key is the surname of this apprentice apprentice he recommended......" Hadron looked at His Royal Highness the Prince and prompted: "Sephorosa, this apprentice's surname is Sephorosa. β
"Sephorosa ......" His Royal Highness the Prince raised his long golden eyebrows, and he whispered, "I seem to have heard of it somewhere." β
Master Hadron sighed softly in his heart and prompted again, "Leanda, Your Highness. Ms. Leanda. Her human husband, whose surname is Sephorosa. And this apprentice mage, whom I had already met yesterday, is a hybrid of elves and humans. β
"Oh?" His Royal Highness the Elven Prince seemed to have finally remembered something, "You mean, Leanda's son has come to Dalaran?" β
Hadron nodded and said, "Quite possibly." He is somewhat similar to Her Highness Leanda. β
"Huh...... It's funny. My arrogant cousin has been missing for ten years, hasn't she? I didn't expect her son to be so old. Kael'thas chuckled.
"Hadron. What do you think I should do? β
"I'm just reporting to you. Let you know about it. Master Hadron said with his head bowed.
"Ignore him." After a while, Kael'thas said, "He's not an elf, and we're not responsible." Don't you know. β
"Yes, Your Highness." Hadron answered, he glanced at Kael'thas, "Then I'll go back first?" β
"Yes." Kael'thas nodded gently, and spoke, "Go, thank you, Hadren." May the light of the Well of the Sun shine on you forever. β
"May the Sunstrider be with the Sunwell......" Hadron also whispered a blessing, using the usual greeting of ordinary elves to members of the royal family.
Hadron walked for a while.
The Prince's close companion, Lord Romans the Magister of Dalaran, walked in.
"My dear companion, the closest Romans." His Royal Highness suddenly spoke to the Magister and said with a smile, "How long has it been since you been to a public classroom?" β
The Magister, who had come in to report on something else, was stunned, and he said uncertainly, "It's been a long time, maybe 10 years." β
"I think."
His Highness looked at him.
"Maybe you should go to a public classroom, too. In this way, our human friends will not feel that the elves are indifferent to the Academy. β
Although the prince only used a suggestive tone, Romans nodded without hesitation, "I'll go right away!" β
I didn't expect two hours later.
Romans returned to his Royal Highness the Prince with a look of surprise.
"How's it going, Romans." His Highness Kael'thas seemed to be just casually asking.
"He didn't go. The apprentice surnamed Sephorosa, he didn't go to the first public class! Romans uttered words that would surprise even His Highness the Sunseeker.
"I walked through three public classrooms. Didn't see him. β
The elven prince's face, which had always been gentle and calm, showed a change of mood for the first time, and his eyes widened a little.
After a long time, His Royal Highness the Prince from Quel'Salas whispered to himself, "Just as arrogant as my cousin." β
The other side.
When the sun was shining on the earth, Orondo, who hadn't been to class on his first day of school, slowly woke up from a chair in a corner of the Great Library of Magic.
The young aristocratic man rubbed his neck, which was now hard and aching because he had slept on the table all night.
"It's uncomfortable to sleep at a desk...... he muttered, then glanced at the clock in the library, a timekeeping instrument from a dwarf, a way of dividing the day into 28 hours. A popular way of keeping time among human nobles and mages.
"It's already afternoon?"
Worst!
Orondo remembered who he was now, and what he had missed out on as an apprentice.
"Public class! It's over, right?! Thinking like this, he quickly stood up and jumped a few times, and then ran out frantically.
As he ran out of the library, Orondo, who was running wildly, saw an acquaintance.
"Hey! Good afternoon, Kel'thugad. He said hello.
The latter didn't respond, he just looked at Orondo coldly with strange eyes, until Orondo's figure disappeared.
"Strange guy." Kel'thugad thought.
Kel'thugad walked into the Great Library, and at the vast first floor entrance, he paused.
βALah'AlsaοΌβ A character came out of the mage's mouth, and at the call of the arcane, a pale blue arcane elemental body appeared in front of him respectfully.
"Hello, Administrator." This elemental body can actually speak, and as soon as it speaks, it is the standard Dalaran human lingua franca.
"I want to know how long the apprentice who left just now, how long he has been here, and how many books he has borrowed." One of the part-time administrators of the library, responsible for sorting out the first ~ third floors of the junior mage Kel'thugad asked softly.
"Apprentice Orendo Sephorosa, who spent 25 hours, 36 minutes and 75 seconds in the library, borrowed 489 books."
