Chapter 4: Hello, Hogwarts

After emphasizing the precautions of the semester, Dumbledore seemed to be the somewhat unobtrusive and kind headmaster again, wearing a somewhat crooked wizarding hat on his head, and spoke loudly.

"Before going to bed, let's sing the school song together!"

As Dumbledore's voice fell, Ivan clearly saw that the faces of the professors on the stage had changed, and several senior students were also constipated.

Dumbledore, on the other hand, waved his wand to himself, and a long golden ribbon floated out of his wand and turned into words like a snake.

The wand was like a baton, and under Dumbledore's guidance, the Hogwarts anthem resounded throughout the hall.

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts, please teach us, whether we are old or bald, or young men with crazy legs, our heads can be stuffed with new and interesting things..."

Various versions and various tunes were mixed together, and the Weasley brothers, who tried to lead everyone astray in the mix, Ivan also fished in troubled waters and sang a few words blindly, and after singing, he unexpectedly felt that the mixed tone.... It seems to sound pretty good.

Ivan couldn't help but wonder if there was something wrong with his musical aesthetic...

Fortunately, there was also the headmaster Dumbledore who had the same feelings, and the respected white wizard was moved to tears under the influence of the music, and it took a long time to break free from the melody, wiping his tears while reminding the prefects that they could go back.

Ivan followed the flow of Gryffindor freshmen up the spiral staircase to the highest floor.

At the end of the hallway, Percy stopped on a wall with a portrait of a fat woman, and before the freshmen could ask questions, everyone saw the fat woman move, change her position, and speak solemnly.

"What's the password?"

"Dragon scum." Percy replied.

The fat woman nodded, out of the way, revealing a circular hole in the wall, which Ivan knew was the Gryffindor common room.

After entering, Ivan realized that the place was much bigger than he had imagined.

The red lion flag representing Gryffindor hung in mid-air, and the large lounge was neatly arranged with several long tables with comfortable chairs under them, and a dark brown fireplace against the left wall, the burning flames illuminating and dispelling the cold of the night.

Gryffindor's bedroom is a room for five, with five four-poster beds in a spacious room, and their luggage placed neatly stacked aside.

With no memory, Ivan couldn't even recognize his suitcase and bed.

Just as Ivan was about to wait for his roommate to choose a bed first, a gray-white owl suddenly flew from the top of the western railing to Ivan's shoulder and pecked Ivan on the face a few times.

"Maca?" Ivan was stunned for a moment, and then remembered the name in his mind for no reason.

"Coo~" The gray-white owl responded with two sentences.

"Whether it's or not, I'll call you Maca from now on." Ivan reached out and scratched the owl's neck, and Maca narrowed her eyes in comfort.

With Maca's guidance, Ivan quickly confirmed that the bed against the wall on the west side was his own, and there were very few things around, except for bedding and pillows, some clothes and daily necessities, and a few textbooks to carry.

It is worth mentioning that Ivan found a small sign next to his bed, which was thoughtfully engraved with the words Ivan Hals.

The other beds had similar signs, but Ivan hadn't noticed them just now.

Not long after Ivan was alone in his bedroom, the sound of a door being pushed outside, followed by a slightly familiar voice.

"I didn't expect the Sorting House to be just a hat, and I thought I was going to fight the trolls, so I knew I shouldn't believe George's nonsense."

Pushing through the door was a little wizard with fiery red hair and freckles on the bridge of his nose, babbling something out of his mouth, while the little boy behind him looked a little thin with a pair of glasses.

Harry? Ron?

Ivan was somewhat surprised that he was in the same bedroom as the savior Harry, which was a coincidence.

"Hello, I'm Ivan Hals!" Ivan stepped forward and took the initiative to say hello.

"Hey, I'm Ron Weasley." Ron had only noticed Ivan's presence.

"Hello, I'm Harry Potter." Harry also held out his hand.

Ivan shook Harry's hand, then looked at Ron and smiled. "Your brother George and Fred told me about you at the meeting just now."

"Oh, damn it, I don't believe they're going to say anything nice about me." Ron felt angry when he thought about how George and Fred usually played tricks on him.

Harry was a little pleased with Ivan's attitude that was different from the others, after all, every time he met other wizards since he entered the wizarding world, he either made a fuss or wanted to see the lightning scar on his head.

I have to say, Harry thought this kind of behavior was really stupid.

The friendship between young wizards can sometimes be established in a short period of time, not to mention that Ivan, who has read the original book, knows the two well, and deliberately caters to them, so they naturally quickly become friends.

Harry was in his dorm room talking about the injustices he had been treated before coming to the wizarding world, and Ron was talking about a joke or two about being teased by the Weasley twins, and it wasn't long before Neville and another young wizard in the same dorm joined in and chatted until late before they went to bed.

The successive changes throughout the night made Ivan really tired, almost as soon as he touched the bed, his body softened, and he couldn't get up again, and even the originally planned plan for the exploration system was forgotten.

Faintly, only the sound of Ron counting rats could be heard, Ivan raised his eyes to look, and then the quilt was placed over his head, and his lips moved silently a few times,

Hello, Hogwarts!

.......

Early the next morning, Ivan woke up from his dream, looked around blankly, and realized for a long time that he was going to class.

Suddenly having to move from the hospital bed to the classroom, Ivan was still a little uncomfortable for a while.

However, Ivan had no plans to be late for his first class at Hogwarts, and although it was still early, Ivan felt that it was better to leave early, considering the skinny stairs in Hogwarts school.

Of course, before leaving, I didn't forget to call Ron and Harry, who were still in bed.

I don't know if it's the influence of Harry's savior aura, or Ivan's bad luck, just in the process of going downstairs, he encountered two disappearing steps, and poor Ron even hit the wall disguised as a door!

Thankfully, it was because of Ron's personal demonstration that Ivan and Harry were spared....
