Chapter Sixty-Seven: Ron, You're a Little Clever Ghost!

Malfoy's strange behavior confused Harry and the others.

Ivan understood what was going on, but he didn't expect this affinity talent to work so well, but he didn't know if it would last forever.

Ivan wasn't happy for long, though, because the bad news from Malfoy made him realize that time was running out.

"What do we do now? Someone from the Ministry of Magic will be here today! What about Charlie? Hasn't he replied yet? Harry panicked even more, ignoring that it was in the hall, and asked in a suppressed voice.

"Not yet, and I don't know when Charlie will write back." Ron was also a little anxious, and opened his mouth to propose. "Otherwise, we'll hide Noble secretly."

"But Noble is so big, there's no place to hide." Hermione said with a frown.

"Maybe we can sink it into the lake!" Ron swore an oath. "I mean, you can stuff a bamboo tube in Noble's mouth so it doesn't get drowned."

Ivan looked at him with a strange expression,

Ron, you're such a clever little ghost!

But Ron was right about one thing, if Charlie didn't arrive in time, they really had to hide Noble.

Given Nobel's size, the sunken lake was also one of the alternatives.

If Dumbledore could unleash a super-sized bubble head spell and convince the fishmen to be neighbors with a sleeping dragon for a few days.

Maybe Dumbledore would have found it easier to use the Vanishing Charm?

Ivan wanted to complain so badly that the Aurors would always rush to the end of the matter?

When did the Ministry of Magic become so efficient?

After a hurried breakfast, Ivan went with the others to today's Defence Against the Dark Arts class, and although Quirrell, who was the instructor, suddenly disappeared, they didn't receive any news that the class would not be required.

Obviously, there will be other professors who will be substituted for the time being.

Just as Ivan thought, as class approached, a familiar figure in a black robe walked up from outside the door.

The moment he saw Snape, Harry thought the lesson must have been terrible.

However, no matter how much Harry was disgusted, it didn't help. Snape walked smoothly all the way to the podium, put down the textbook he was holding, his eyes swept over the classroom, and then paused briefly on Ivan's body, and then suddenly spoke.

"Since your Professor Quirrell is considered the number one suspect in killing unicorns, stealing potions, and assaulting hunting ground guards, the Ministry of Magic has issued an arrest order, and I will temporarily act as the agent of Defence Against the Dark Arts classes for Grades 1 to 3 until the holidays!"

The sudden revelation made the little wizards below suddenly explode.

What the? The murderer was Professor Quirrell? How is this possible?

Quirrell has always been a cowardly and good man, which makes many young wizards unable to accept Quirrell's change of identity for a while.

How could such a person be a dark wizard? He was so timid that he fainted at a Halloween party...

"So, I'm going to teach you the first Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson, which is not to be fooled by the appearance of affairs, many evil dark wizards are good at weaving lies... You'd better have a few more eyes. Snape said mercilessly, not caring if it would frighten the young minds of the children.

A few of the Gryffindors turned pale with fright, because they used to think Quirrell was a bully, and they had secretly teased him during class, and now they were worried that Quirrell would come back to get revenge on them.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were a little surprised when they heard the news, but they quickly accepted it, after all, they had already sensed that something was wrong with Quirrell.

Not to mention Ivan, who had always known what kind of person Quirrell was, but he was a little surprised that Dumbledore was so quick to convince the Ministry of Magic to mark the missing Quirrell as a murderer, and wondered if any crucial evidence had been found in Quirrell's office.

"Silence!" The commotion in the audience made Snape frown frequently, and directly increased the volume to interrupt everyone's discussion.

"Now, let's take the first lesson, pick up your books, and we're going to study page nine, chapter three—" Snape said, and then, as if something had suddenly come to mind.

"Also, I need to inform you that the Transfiguration class in the afternoon of the first year has been cancelled..."

Hermione raised her hand in the air, wanting to ask why, but Snape rebuked mercilessly.

"Don't ask me why, that's not what you need to know!"

......

The Defence Against the Dark Arts class in the morning made Ivan very satisfied, because Snape was much more competent as a professor than Quirrell, at least he was genuinely teaching some relevant knowledge, rather than reading it over and over again with a textbook like Quirrell.

Ivan also knew from Hermione's mouth that the affinity talent he exuded seemed to be waning, or rather more restrained, at least not as obvious as in the morning.

This is good news for Ivan, because although the previous talent is powerful, even Harry and Ron can detect it, which not only does not work very well, but also easily arouses the vigilance of others.

At noon, another piece of good news came that Ron had received a letter from Charlie, stating that he would come over with a few friends at three o'clock in the afternoon and take the dragon away, saving Noble from sinking into the lake or being "disappeared".

It just so happened that the Transfiguration class in the afternoon was suspended, allowing them to find time to send Noble away.

By the time they had finished their meal and arrived at Hagrid's hut, it was already two o'clock in the afternoon, and Noble was still sleeping by the fire, not waking up in the slightest, presumably Professor McGonagall had come to reinforce his magic.

Yaya stayed outside the hut, not daring to go in at all, and when he saw Ivan's figure, he immediately flew over, and let out a whimper from his mouth, accusing Noble of occupying the house.

Ivan was comforted for a moment, and then checked the wound on his tooth and leg, which was bandaged, apparently had been treated by Madam Pomfrey.

It was close to three o'clock, and Ivan saw six figures flying towards him on broomsticks.

"It's Charlie, he's coming!" Ron waved excitedly.

After seeing Ron, several people in the sky also quickly descended, and the leader had fiery red hair, his face was covered with freckles, and his skin was tanned to brown and black, and he looked like he had been weathered in Romania.

Dragon research is not a simple job, in addition to knowing a lot of dragon knowledge, it is also essential to be able to bear hardships and stand hard work, and sometimes it takes a lot of effort...
