Kilometers away, the artillery units of the Europa army slowly opened up in formation, and with the blowing of the horn of attack, at the moment when the infantry troops began to push forward, the cannons lined up directly launched a covering artillery bombardment towards the mountains and forests in the distance!

The cannonballs that flew out continued to bombard the mountains and forests, and the powerful artillery bombardment could easily destroy the stout towering trees.

In the face of such a wide range of shelling and suppression, Zhou Yi, who was obviously mentally prepared, calmly ordered......

"All retreat, out of range of enemy shelling."

Shelling like this cannot last forever.

The purpose of the other side is nothing more than to cover their soldiers with artillery bombardment and rush into the mountains and forests.

When the soldiers of the Europa army officially approached, in order to avoid accidentally injuring their own people, the covering shelling would naturally stop.

For the highly trained infantry of the regular army, a kilometer-long charge on foot is really nothing.

A large number of Europa soldiers, under the cover of shelling, frantically poured into the mountain forest area with rifles in their hands.

Due to the shelling just now, the ambushes in the outer mountains and forests have basically all retreated, which allowed the Europa soldiers to enter smoothly.

However, shelling cover like that basically ends there.

As I said before, if this is fired again, it is estimated that it will hurt my own people.

And the shells are not cabbage, the high cost of each one is there, in this situation where the target is basically not visible, just for cover, who can afford to play like this?

Now turn the perspective back to the mountain forest, and where you can see it, the towering trees all over the mountain make the complexity of the mountain forest terrain skyrocket.

Due to the limitations of this special terrain, the Europa army, which could no longer maintain the overall military formation, had to be broken into pieces, dispersed into small teams, remained vigilant, and covered each other to advance slowly.

In this situation, the dominance of this battle has undoubtedly begun to shift.

Figures quickly shuttled on the thick branches of the towering trees, their movements were swift, but they were extremely light, like a breeze blowing through the forest, and the Europa soldiers below could be said to be completely unaware of their presence.

Until the sharp arrows that came from the roar mercilessly pierced the throats of those enemy soldiers!

"Enemy attack! Enemy Attack!! ”

Amid the screams, Europa's soldiers subconsciously glanced around, trying to locate the attacker.

However, where is the Windranger troops hidden in the mountains and forests so easy to find?

Not to mention that there is more than just one Windranger unit in this battlefield.

Looking at the Europa soldiers who were frantically sweeping their eyes there, searching for the enemy's location, another force on the side of the civilization of the Ten Thousand Worlds was also quietly moving.

The trigger was pulled, and a dense burst of gunfire came from all directions, and the bullets that flew out accurately hit the enemy Europa soldiers.

At this time, it is the Terran guerrilla troops who are also responsible for garrisoning the southern border to cover the movement of the Windranger troops!

In other words, in terms of the number of soldiers, in fact, in every army of the civilization of the Ten Thousand Worlds, the Terran soldiers occupy the vast majority.

"The enemy is over there! Fire, fire! ”

In the face of the counterattack of the Europa soldiers, the guerrillas in the southern territory on the side of the civilization of the Ten Thousand Worlds took advantage of the surrounding cover and hid behind the trunk of the big tree, avoiding those attacks.

The guerrilla force was able to attract the attention of the Europa soldiers and keep the Windrangers hiding in the branches of the trees in hiding in their possession.

In this wave, the mutual cooperation between the two forces can be said to be extremely tacit.

Looking at the group of Europa soldiers below who were staring at the guerrillas' hiding place and firing wildly, the Windrangers who were half-crouching on the branches of the big trees were also unambiguous, and between the bows and arrows, a sharp arrow began to quickly reap the enemy's life.

In this battle, although the southern border troops do not have an advantage in strength at present, with the blessing of the terrain environment, once this battle starts, it is really not an easy thing for the other side to get rid of their maneuvers and easily break through their cordon.

Through the information that was constantly transmitted back, Zhou Yi, who was always confirming the battle situation ahead, was slightly relieved in his heart, according to the current battle situation, as long as the Windranger troops and the guerrilla troops have maintained this tacit cooperation and continued to deal with the troops of the Europa army, they should be able to buy them a lot of time.

However, just as he was thinking this, several explosions suddenly roared from within the outer woodland, which startled his heart.

"Hurry up and check the situation on the outer battlefield!"

Without having time to think about it, Zhou Yi hurriedly signaled a scout beside him to rush to confirm what was happening on the outer battlefield.

And at the same time, in the outer battlefield of the mountain forest, under the impact of the explosion, the splashing fire instantly ignited the surrounding towering trees!

The faint light of the fire, carrying billowing smoke, is gradually rising over the mountain forest.

"! It's an oil drum! Among those enemy soldiers, there were people with oil cans!! ”

In the mountains and forests, the battle was already extremely fierce, and in the case of bullets flying around, no one could guarantee that they would not blow up the oil drums on the opposite side with a single mistake.

Not to mention the opposing Europa soldiers, they can now choose to take the initiative to blow up those oil barrels.

In this environment, once the oil drum bursts, carrying sparks, the scattered and splashed fire oil will pose a great threat to the mountain and forest environment.

In the surrounding mountains and forests, the fire is spreading rapidly.

Zhou Yi, who received the latest news, frowned, and hurriedly gave an order, signaling the guerrilla troops to retreat temporarily.

On the premise that the other side has oil drums, once the guerrillas open fire, there is a risk of detonating the oil drums and expanding the fire.

The guy on the other side has no intention of giving up setting fire to the mountain!

Looking at the fire spreading in the mountains and forests in the distance, the corners of Charlie Crumbel's mouth slightly hooked at the rear of the battlefield were faintly proud.

"Pass the order down and let the troops withdraw temporarily!"

He didn't want his soldiers to die in the fire, and now that the fire had spread, he just had to watch the show outside.

Under the premise that there was no rain for a week, his high-purity fuel oil can be said to be the best ignition material, so that the whole fire spread quickly, and in just a few moments, the mountain forest in front of him has fallen into a raging sea of fire!
