Chapter 40: Christmas

And in Diagon Alley or Tumbledown Alley, unless he boils a compound decoction or improves his strength, Ivan is not ready to go.

Going there alone would be too dangerous for a young first-year wizard.

Ivan turned around and left, and before leaving, he bought a bottle of deodorant to eliminate the smell on his body, and after throwing the twelve silver sikes to old Rick, Ivan left here without hesitation.

He knew there must be one place where there must be Epiphyllum and Hemolytic Grass, and that was in Snape's potions pantry...

Although it was very risky to do so, Ivan had no other way now.

Returning the way he came, Ivan was able to pass through the cellar thanks to the fact that Duke Honey's boss was entertaining the guests.

Coming out of the secret passage, Ivan went to the Room of Request as soon as possible,

"I want a place to make potions." Ivan spoke.

In the next moment, Ivan opened the door of the Room of Requirement, and he was already in an unfamiliar space, surrounded by many bottles and jars, as well as a large number of potions-making equipment.

The only thing that Ivan regrets is that the cabinets and bottles used to store potions here are empty, and there are not even the most basic herbs.

"There is a room for requirement, and there are indeed limitations." Ivan said disappointedly, he had wanted to see if he could prostitute some potion materials for nothing.

Ivan found a cabinet and stored all the purchased materials in it, so that he could take it directly when he boiled potions in the future, leaving only the deodorant that could eliminate his own smell.

After doing all this, Ivan turned around and left without hesitation, and halfway through, the sharp-eyed Ivan also happened to see Quirrell wandering on the fourth floor, with a somewhat sneaky figure.

Ivan's heart moved, and he took out the map of the living point to confirm the location of Snape and the other professors, and a plan suddenly came to Ivan's mind.

......

For the next few weeks, Ivan spent the next few weeks keeping an eye on Snape's movements on the map of the living spots, occasionally looking at Quirrell's, and before he knew it, time was already on the horizon.

As we entered December, the weather was getting colder, and a few nights before Christmas were snowing, and when Ivan woke up in the morning to find that it was covered with a thick layer of snow, Harry and Ron were shivering with cold, and had to add a few more sweaters to their wide wizarding robes.

Ivan took the two of them to the fireplace in the lounge to make a fire, and used the Transfiguration Charm to create transparent windshields to block those ventilation openings, so that the whole lounge could be warmer.

But this made it difficult for the owls who delivered the letters, several of them hit the side windshield, and a large number of envelopes were scattered all over the ground, and Ivan went to the window to remove the windshield.

Outside the window, poor Quirrell was being hit by a bunch of enchanted snowballs, and Ivan even saw one of the sturdy-looking snowballs hit Quirrell in the back of the head with great precision, which made Ivan sweat for the Weasley brothers.

I guess these two guys dare to spoof Quirrell like this, I don't know if this is the pinnacle of their lives....

In the afternoon, Ivan finished his last Potions class with Harry and the others, and the whole of Hogwarts was boiling over, because tomorrow was their long-awaited holiday, and more importantly, they could finally go home!

However, for Ivan, he was not happy at all, because he didn't want to go back at all, at least until he figured out his memories, it was better to stay in school safely.

So when Professor McGonagall came over to register the list of students who stayed at the school, Ivan didn't hesitate to sign it, as did Harry.

"Ivan, aren't you going to go back either?" Harry wondered.

"Well, how can you feel at home at school." Ivan replied with a smile.

As if Harry had found resonance, he and Ivan were so bitter that he even wanted to stay at Hogwarts forever instead of returning to his so-called uncle's house.

To Harry's delight, Ron and Weasley brothers will also stay, as their parents are going to visit Charlie in Romania this year.

The only thing Harry felt a little sorry for was that Hermione had to go home, otherwise it would have been a perfect Christmas...

Ivan, Harry, and Ron were blocked by Malfoy on their way back after signing the agreement to stay at the school.

"Huh? See what I found? A couple of kids who don't want to stay in school," Malfoy exclaimed as Harry looked at Harry's bombardment, then turned back to Ron.

"And Weasley, your mother must have thought she had too much to give birth to and didn't want you anymore..."

"Malfoy!" Ron angrily rushed forward with a punch, and Malfoy drew his wand to cast a spell to fight back, and his two henchmen, Crabbe and Goyle, surrounded him.

Faster than them, Ivan took Malfoy's wand away with a direct disarming charm, and the remaining two stupid big ones who could only use their fists, Ivan's two leg locking charms made them fall to the ground.

Malfoy, who had lost his ability to resist, had to eat a right hook from Ron head-on.

Ron tried to keep moving, but an invisible barrier appeared in front of Malfoy's body and blocked Ron's fist.

Snape, with a straight face, walked down the stairs, waved his wand at will, unenchanted Crabbe and Goyle, and then looked at Ivan and the others.

"Assaulting classmates on campus, wanton abuse of magic, Gryffindor deducted ten points!"

"Professor, it's Malfoy—" Harry tried to argue, but Snape spoke again.

"Now it's a fifteen point deduction!"

Ivan stopped Harry and Ron, who were about to continue talking, and judging by Snape's swing of his wand and his spell, the three of them were not enough to see together.

Since he can't beat it, Snape is a professor again, and no matter how much he says, he will suffer...

Snape didn't embarrass Ivan and the others anymore, and after glancing at Malfoy with a little disappointment, he turned and left.

Malfoy got up from the ground angrily, glared at Crabbe and Goyle, who were easily dealt with by Ivan, followed Snape, and walked over to the three of them proudly, but his face was a little swollen...

"Snape is simply deliberately trying to get along with us, and if you want me to say that last time Harry had a problem with your broomstick, Snape must have done it!" Ron disgruntled.

"At the end of this semester, Snape has deducted nearly 100 points from our Gryffindors." Harry also nodded, agreeing with Ron's statement, and Snape was more likely than the harmless Professor Quirrell.

Ivan didn't help Snape explain this time, because Snape was so capable of pulling hatred, and even he was a little dissatisfied with Snape.

But that's fine, Ivan was a little resistant to sneaking into Snape's potions storage room and stealing the bonegrass, but now he doesn't think about it so much...

All that's missing is timing.
