Volume Eighty-Seven Let the Wind Go
After five days of cats in the dormitory, Eric and I finally couldn't stand our behavior anymore and made up our minds to go out. In the morning, we both got out of bed and turned on the computer after being woken up by our respective biological clocks, and used the National Day travel photos and interesting sharing videos shared by everyone on Renren to completely sober up. 2010 was the Shanghai World Expo, and if I had applied for a school in the south, I would have lined up for a long time. However, being able to watch a group of people in the bedroom exposed to the sun and work tirelessly to send us photos and videos from various angles is also very "moving".
Eric has decided to go shopping with Wawa and get some fresh air for herself. And I'm planning to go to practice, even if I have to wait in line all day. The moment I left the dormitory, I felt as if I had been reborn, swept away the weakness of the past few days, and walked with a lot more energy. The two of us parted ways in the library, Eric walked straight to the girls' dormitory, while I felt the brief autumn coolness of Cha Ha Chong and strolled towards the station of the rail station.
Nine items have particularly high requirements for the venue, and the registration point that practiced reversing into the warehouse is definitely not good, and for some reason, even this registration point has been abolished, and our wave of people has been merged into another campus. There are relatively complete facilities and there are quite a few instructors. Lao Zhao and I have been there a few times, so we don't need to bump around like a headless fly.
When I got to the venue, I quickly found the big-tongued coach and found a place to line up obediently. For those of us who have just finished the reversing and transfer exams, the driving school first requires us to practice ramp up and side parking first, because these two must be examined, and after being proficient, there are continuous obstacles and unilateral bridges, because these two are the most difficult.
It's still relatively easy to park on the side, remember a few points like reversing into the garage, and then remember the number of laps of the steering wheel to get it into the garage perfectly. In addition, the parking spaces for the test and exam are all standard parking spaces, and there are no other unqualified and unskilled cars parked there before and after.
It's another thing to get up on a hill, and I haven't mastered the essentials after a few days of practice. First of all, after the car goes uphill, you have to keep to the right, you can't press the white line in front and on the right, and you can't get too far from them, although the coach has also told the reference object and the point, but there is still a gap between people. It's not easy, but the line on the right is really not good to master, and 20 points will be deducted directly from the line during the exam, and only 10 points will be deducted if it is too far away, but no one can predict whether the next project will be deducted again, and it is really a difficult choice. Then the most important slope to get started, the clutch and brakes have been stepped on, according to the coach, it is necessary to slowly lift the clutch until the steering wheel shakes, and then release the brakes, at this time the clutch must not move again, and wait until the car slowly runs up to a constant speed before continuing to loosen the clutch. However, the old and new of each car are different, and some cars feel like they are about to fall apart, and they start to slide as soon as they release the brakes; Some cars suddenly shut down when the clutch was lifted slightly.
It may be that everyone's mentality is similar to mine, try to rest if you can, but there are not many people who learn to drive during the National Day holiday, and it will soon be my turn. After being scolded by the coach a few times, I have almost mastered the performance of this broken Jetta in the driving school, and the level of the clutch and the shaking strength of the steering wheel have also been understood. The coach looked blankly ahead, not seeming to be worried about my operation. I drove the car slowly up a steep hill, and when I saw the stop line, I stepped on the clutch and then the brakes according to the point taught by the instructor. The expressionless coach on the side opened the door of the passenger cab, glanced at the white line on the right on the ground, and said, "It's a little far away!" Pay attention next time. With that, he slammed the door shut, and then gave me a look to continue.
The most stressful moment was coming, I slammed the brakes with my right foot, slowly released the clutch with my left foot, and got my hands on the steering wheel, staring straight ahead...... The steering wheel began to shake violently, and from what I can remember, I felt like I could already release the brakes, and the ball of my right foot began to lift and wait for the car to move forward.
"Elbow (go)!" The coach suddenly roared, which scared me with both feet, and directly turned off the car. I quickly pressed the clutch and brakes, and at the same time, the coach helped me pull the handbrake. The steering wheel was instantly soaked with sweat from my hands, and I looked cautiously at the instructor for some reason.
"Don't you feel the whole car is shaking?" The coach's face was very ugly, "hanging in the middle gear to light the ......"
I didn't have time to collect my emotions and quickly restarted the car, my feet still firmly on the clutch and brakes. "Elbow!" The coach gave me another order. This time I didn't dare to let the steering wheel shake violently, the clutch lifted a little and then released the brakes, and instead of moving forward as I expected, the car kept slipping backwards......
"Give the oil! Give oil!! The coach's tone was one of anxiety and anger. At this time, the coach car behind also began to rise up, and kept honking its horn. In the panic, I was already at a loss, and my brain began to drive, and I would only desperately press the clutch and brakes. It is estimated that the instructor in the back saw the situation in our car and no longer honked the horn, but let the students stop at the bottom of the slope and wait for us to drive the car away. This made me relax a lot, because after slipping back a little bit and the slope was lowered, I re-operated the car and started to move forward slowly. However, after all the brakes were released, the car slowed down again. "Give some oil, give some oil!" The coach began to urge again. I don't know why driving school instructors like to change such an easy-to-understand educational term as "step on the accelerator" to a very confusing word like "give oil", but through the context, I, a southerner, still decipher this secret phrase. "Give less!! Just move the car! "The coach cherishes the gasoline of the coach very much, and I feel that what I stepped on this foot is not oil, but the uproar of RMB.
After all the difficulties, the car finally went downhill, and the side parking after that was successfully completed, and the coach's face was much better. Because of the length of the nine exercises, one person can only practice once at most, so my day of practice is over. After a morning of physical and mental work, I consumed too much glucose, and I didn't eat breakfast before, so I was already hungry, so I hurried to school.
I was almost fainting from hunger when I was riding the train, but I didn't expect to get off the bus and walk to school, and I was so hungry. When I walked into the cafeteria, I was nauseous by the smell of food, so I had to walk straight back to my dorm room and wait for the next wave of hunger to hit.
Back in the dormitory, Eric had already returned, and upon inquiry, he learned that the two of them had just gone to the supermarket and had lunch. Since I left the computer in the morning, Renren has been updated a lot of new things on the Internet, I quickly sat down and began to absorb these spiritual food, flipping through the pages and found that everyone was reprinting a post, the title is about "Xiao Yueyue". When I first saw this name, I remembered the famous Xiao Yueyue incident in high school, thinking that it was a clerical error, and I thought to myself, how did this thing that made hundreds of millions of people ashamed come out again? Is there a new development? I didn't pay much attention to it, I was really tired from learning to drive all morning, and after a while, I went to bed and took a nap.
It was almost 1 o'clock when I finally woke up hungry. I went to the kiosk on the first floor of the dormitory and bought a bag of boiled instant noodles with sausage and eggs for lunch. After everything was ready, I was about to continue watching "The Big Bang Theory", when I suddenly remembered the previous post that Renren had reprinted on the Internet, so I clicked on a full version and started to look at it......
As a result, my instant noodles, like my three views, collapsed......
