Volume 33 Curve Home (Part II)

I got up early because I had to go home. My ticket departed at 12 o'clock, and after making sure the power in the dorm was off, I locked the door and rushed to the train station early. Because it was the first time to take a train by myself, I didn't have much experience, it was all based on feelings. I've been wandering around the train station for a long time, and I've been thinking about whether to have lunch at the station, because I always feel that the things at the station are for killing pigs, and I have a lot of dry food, why should I be treated as a pig's head? In the end, time helped me make my choice, and I entered the station hungry. When I finally got on the train, I was a little surprised, I remember that the body was red when I first took the train, why is this a green train in front of me? When I got into the car, I found that the seats were crusty sofas with fans on the walls...... How is it completely different from what I used to sit on?? Who would have thought that even more devastating was yet to come.

I found my seat, put my luggage in the luggage rack, and took a little bit of food and put it on the small table. Because it was summer, thin clothes would make my wallet too conspicuous, so I stuffed it into my luggage in advance and carried 100 yuan in my trouser pocket. There were a few college students sitting with me, and it seemed that they were older than me, but they had a lot of experience in riding in the car anyway. After a brief conversation, we went our separate ways, after all, I didn't dare to let my guard down, and I hated talking to strangers.

The train slowly left the station, and my heart began to get a little excited, and I hurriedly looked out the window. As I left the city, the scenery along the way became more and more beautiful, but unfortunately my camera was in my suitcase, so I couldn't record this beautiful moment. Slowly, I began to understand the meaning of L. The summer in the Northeast is also very hot, after all, the climate in my country is generally high temperature in the summer. The sun shone into the train, making it extremely hot inside. Although there is a cool breeze blowing in from the window when the train is speeding up, L is not K, not T, not Z, L it must stop at every station, and the train stops before the wind blows for a while. Although there is a fan on the wall of the carriage, it is not an egg. In this way, I sat in the car sweating all the time, and the passengers opposite me changed again and again, and I didn't dare to ask them to look at the luggage. The sweat glands helped me reduce the urge to urinate, and I didn't drink much water, so I didn't move my ass much. Because of the hot weather, I didn't have the appetite to eat, so I bit a dorayaki. At that time, there was no WeChat, Douyin, iQiyi, and Tencent APP, and taking the train was really just a train.

The long hot afternoon had finally passed, and by the evening it was much cooler. The plains at sunset became more and more charming, and I wanted to stand up several times to get the camera in my bag, but I was afraid that my finances would be targeted and I would have to give up.

It was getting dark, and I thought my trip was coming to an end, but every time I stopped, it was a place name I had never heard of. In the end, I lost my confidence, and I was numb after too many disappointments. By seven or eight o'clock, the inside of the car began to get cold. Although our windows were closed, we couldn't control anyone else's, and the cold wind was swishing to my side. I began to want to get up again to get a coat from my suitcase, but the people next to me were sleeping soundly, and I couldn't disturb them, so I finally gave up on the idea, and had to keep my back as close to the backrest as possible, and then put my hands in front of my chest to try to keep my body warm.

I don't know if I've ever fallen asleep along the way, but when I see that my luggage is still in its original position, I will let go of my hanging heart, and once I feel sleepy, I will be worried again. In this way, the train ran for almost four hours, and at nearly 12 midnight, the train finally arrived! I thought it would take me seven or eight hours at most, but it took 12 hours.

Following the flow of people, I got out of the train station. Although it was midnight, the exit was still full of people. There must be no subway at this point, so you can only take a taxi to the hotel. Seeing the many taxis parked on the side of the road, I wanted to drag my luggage over. At this time, an enthusiastic uncle walked up to me and asked if I wanted to take a taxi. I've often heard that taxi drivers in Beijing are very enthusiastic, so I think he should be a taxi driver, so I nodded subconsciously. Seeing that I agreed, he immediately took my luggage and asked me to go to the car with him. The luggage was in his hand, so I was naturally not at ease, so I hurriedly followed him, for fear that he would run away. I was a little disappointed to walk through the crowd-filled plaza and finally get to where he parked. Although the car had taxi lights, it was a shabby red Santana, which was too much of a notch off the blue taxis outside. Anyway, it's all by car, and the place is not far away, so it's so late now, so let's make do. I gave the driver the address and stared at the meter, lest the numbers on it jump out of my range.

After seven or eight turns, we finally arrived at a community, according to the driver, this hotel should be in the community. I peeked out of the car window and saw the neon sign of the hotel. When I paid the money, I found that I had no change, so I handed him a hundred-dollar bill, and the driver gave me the money, I counted the amount and got out of the car and walked to the hotel with my luggage.

After checking in, I took a shower and washed my clothes. I took out my computer and connected to the Internet with the hotel's network cable, and then swiped the school, checked the location of the school for the class leader, and then went to sleep. Because I made an appointment with the head of the class to meet at noon, I could sleep more.

The next day, probably because I was a little unaccustomed, I woke up at 7 o'clock. I touched the clothes I washed last night, they were still a little wet, so I took out dry clothes and changed them, took the greeting gift and went out. The streets of Beijing are the least likely to get lost, so I was relieved to walk out after remembering the location of the hotel. However, at the gate I was blocked by a large iron gate, and access to this place requires access control...... So how did I get in last night? And the staff at the front desk didn't tell me about it when I checked in, even if I went out for a while, what should I do when I come back? Over the wall?

I have a principle in doing things, I can get things done by myself, and I definitely don't bother others. So I just watched how others could get in and out without an access card, and in order not to look embarrassed, I pretended to exercise and walk. After observing for a while, I found that I don't need an access control to go out, just a swipe when I enter the door. So I walked slowly towards the gate, and the gatekeeper looked like a thief at all, and obviously became vigilant. In desperation, I could only open Chrysostom: "Hello, what if I don't have a card back?" The uncle instantly became disdainful, and it happened that a person was about to come in, so he took out his card and swiped it, and said, "Isn't this okay?" So I went out of the door with confidence.

The best way to get to know a city is on foot. So I didn't think about taking any public transportation to get to the head of the class's school, anyway, it was early, just walk. Although it was July, the morning in Beijing was still a little cool, but I was walking, so I didn't feel cold. Along the way, I wanted to try the legendary old Peking bean juice, but I couldn't find one for sale.

The class leader's school is to train diplomatic talents for the empire, and it is not surprising that the class leader reported this school. The only surprise was that after studying Chinese as a foreign language for a year, she decisively chose to switch to Spanish. That is, she is going to start studying again from her freshman year. This kind of courage and perseverance is not something that ordinary people have, at least not that I certainly wouldn't.

When I arrived at school, it was almost noon. Following the instructions of the class leader, I went downstairs to their dormitory and ran into my head. I gave her the Northeast specialty, and she asked me to go to their school's restaurant for lunch. After all, I'm also a guest, and the guest is as he pleases, and the head of the class is also a lady, so it's all up to her arrangement. We ordered a large plate of chicken and added noodles. The head of the class said that they usually eat together like this, and they are affordable and full. During the meal, we talked about high school and the arrangements for our respective summer vacations. Because of the change of major, the class leader needs more time to study, so she does not plan to go home this summer. I was a little disappointed because I was still planning to get together for the summer. I also asked her how to get to the airport conveniently, and she said that going to the airport is naturally an airport line, and the subway is direct. The imperial capital is the imperial capital, and after the baptism of the Olympic Games, public transportation has become more convenient and efficient. After dinner, the head of the class took me around their campus and then introduced the historical background of the school and some interesting experiences.

The head of the class has always been keen to participate in various social activities, and now that he has changed his major, it is very rare to be able to find time to receive my old classmate. After walking around the campus, I said goodbye to her and walked back to my accommodation. In order to facilitate the subway the next day, I think the front desk of the hotel asked about the location of the subway station, and then went out to investigate to ensure that there was enough time.
