Chapter 67: Harry's Headaches and Nightmares
"I'm sorry, Ferenze, I forgot that you were still waiting for me outside. Alan sincerely apologized, and also won Ferenze's forgiveness.
"It's okay, Alan. Seeing Gaia restore the unicorn's former glory, I know you must have had a wonderful night last night. Ferencze congratulated Gaia again, "Congratulations, Gaia, you can fly!"
Gaia was so happy that she couldn't help but flutter her wings a few times.
As it grew brighter, Alan was anxious to return to Hogwarts Castle and said goodbye to Gaia and Ferenze.
Before leaving, Ferenze repeatedly told Allen, "If you have time, you must come to the Centaur tribe." Alan agreed.
As final exams approach, the tension at school is getting stronger. Although Alan was very confident in his academic level, he still read all the textbooks and notes again in such a strong learning atmosphere. It is a good habit to learn from the past, and it is a good quality to be humble and cautious.
Unlike Alan, who lived a full life, Harry was visibly depressed. Ever since he had last returned from the forest, he had felt a sharp tingling in his forehead. This feeling of pain has been haunting him ever since.
Neville saw that Harry had not slept well all night and muttered to Flegg that he was suffering from a severe phobia of exams. Flegg quietly approached Alan, who he thought was probably the only one who could help Harry, besides the teachers.
Alan felt that Harry would never be able to toss and turn because of the exam. His performance must have something to do with that day's trip to the Forbidden Forest. Alan took a walk after lunch to find Harry and ask about him.
In fact, it was true, Harry was constantly awakened by the nightmare of the past, and it was worse than ever, because there was another hooded figure with blood dripping from the corner of his mouth in a cloud of black smoke coming towards him.
"Alan, do you think I'm too vulnerable, so easily scared, and have nightmares every day?" Harry was willing to open up to Alan, but he was also worried that his friends would look down on him. That's why he wouldn't talk to Ron and Hermione. Alan is different, he is knowledgeable, steady and reliable, and they are both teachers and friends.
"Harry, I don't think it's because you're scared. Gryffindor is known for its bravery, and you must have that quality when you were chosen by the Sorting Hat for Gryffindor. Alan was reassured, and he did.
"But, the Sorting Hat wanted nothing more than anything to put me in Slytherin. Harry muttered to himself, he had always cared about the Sorting Hat's choice in the first place, and if he hadn't insisted on it, he might have been sorted into Slytherin.
"Harry, everyone is not just a character. Who's to say that Slytherin isn't brave, and Gryffindor has no shortage of ambitious people. The choice of the Sorting Hat is just a reflection of your most outstanding potential. Since you have been sorted into Gryffindor, it means that you are indeed a man of heroic qualities. It seemed that Harry was not persuaded by Alan, and Alan did not bother to talk any more, and one day the truth would prove to Harry that Harry was a real Gryffindor.
"Let's talk about your nightmare, which may have something to do with the fact that the shadow passed directly through you, affected by the other party's magic. Of course, there may be other connections between you. Or maybe the events of the Forbidden Forest and your previous nightmares have impressed you too much. β
Alan can't tell Harry that it's your parents' murderer who has passed through you! his purpose is to ease Harry's troubles, relieve his pain, and allow Harry to pass his exams, not to lead Harry to a rambling search for Voldemort.
"Well, Harry, there's a potion that might relieve your headaches, or at least give you a good night's sleep. I just happened to have one to make, but two herbs were missing: moonstone powder and sneezing root essence syrup. As far as I know, Professor Snape's pantry should have both of these herbs in place. If we go and ask Professor Snape for helpβ" Before Alan could finish his sentence, Harry interrupted him frantically.
"No, you can't go to Snape, he won't help me. Harry's headache made it almost difficult for him to control his emotions.
"Well, don't worry, maybe I can figure it out. Alan soothed Harry.
Alan didn't think there was anything wrong with asking Professor Snape for help, and it was only right for a student to ask for help from a teacher! But if Harry didn't want to, he would have to think of something else.
The most formal way is naturally owl procurement, although it takes a long time, but it should be possible to get the desired results. The next way is to ask the seniors for help, but they don't necessarily have it. If Madam Pomfrey should have this herb, how would she explain it?
Alan decided to go to the owl shack on the top floor of the West Tower to find Benny, try to buy it first, and at the same time go to Professor Snape to inquire about it, if you can, you can get some medicinal materials to use first, and when the ordered medicinal materials arrive, you can replenish Professor Snape!
Harry didn't hesitate to agree to the offer. Begging for someone who clearly loaths him, he really can't do it, but what if it's a silent replacement?
The pain on his forehead and the nightmares of the day and night could be solved if life would be better! Harry couldn't stand the temptation and immediately decided to secretly replace the herbs.
"I think you had a Potions class in the afternoon, and you were in charge of dragging Professor Snape and I went to his private pantry to get the herbs. "Alan had looked at Harry's timetable and knew his schedule inside out.
"Good!" Harry readily agreed. After saying goodbye to Alan, Harry immediately approached Hermione and Ron to discuss how to get Snape's attention and hold him back that afternoon.
"Harry, as long as you keep making mistakes, you should be able to get most of his attention. Hermione hit the nail on the head.
Harry was reluctant to be scolded, but it was undeniably effective.
"Maybe we can create some chaos in the class so Harry doesn't have to get scolded. Ron's proposal was more in line with Harry's thoughts. A few of them decided to ask George and Fred about pranks, and no one was better than them.
In the afternoon, Alan asked Professor Flitwick for leave under the pretext that he was unwell and needed to rest, and Professor Flitwick agreed without hesitation, and was very concerned about Allen's physical condition, which made Alan feel guilty.
However, it was useless to think too much about it, so we solved the problem that was bothering Harry first. After becoming invisible, Alan strode towards Professor Snape's office.
