Chapter 301: Quitting Team Quidditch

The four of them ate lunch together in the auditorium, discussing Hagrid's magical biology class in the afternoon.

Harry was a little worried that Hagrid would make a mess of the lesson, and he had already had a hunch about it when he bought the Monster Book at the bookstore.

Several of them discussed the need to be more active in Hagrid's class, so as not to embarrass Hagrid too much...

Harry suddenly remembered something and turned his head to speak. "By the way, Ivan, Wood let me inform you that this Friday evening we have our first Quidditch training of the school year!"

Ivan paused as he fiddled with his knife and fork, but quickly and slowly tore off a large piece of steak and replied casually. "I'm not going to participate in this training, I'm quitting the Quidditch team this year, can you tell Wood for me then..."

"What? Ivan, you're quitting the Quidditch team? Harry exclaimed in surprise, unable to believe his ears.

Harry's voice drew the attention of the young wizards at the Gryffindor table, and George, who was munching on a chicken leg not far away, couldn't help but close his mouth in surprise.

"Why? Ivan? We can't live without you in Gryffindor, and we're counting on this year's Quidditch trophy! ”

Harry and Ron also nodded, they didn't want to see Ivan quit the Quidditch team!

"I have so many classes to take this school year that I really can't find time." Ivan said helplessly.

Although there is such a thing as a time converter, previous experiences have clearly taught Ivan that if this thing is abused, it is likely to die due to energy exhaustion.

That's why he's working on a schedule with Hermione, and given that, Ivan certainly doesn't want to distract his already modest energy from Quidditch.

After all, it's unlikely that the same achievement will be awarded a second time, and the GCA awarded with a Quidditch Trophy will not be as fast as a regular class.

George and the others were unwilling to comfort for a while, but Ivan was very firm.

"The Gryffindor team is full, it doesn't matter if I quit or not, and with Harry, the best Seeker, the Gryffindor team can win!" Ivan said refusal.

"Ivan has had enough to do lately, don't bother him with Quidditch!" Hermione also glared at them and said.

Harry and the others had no choice but to give up.

It didn't take long for Wood, who got the news, to rush over, and he had a straight face and wanted to persuade Ivan to participate in Friday's training camp.

But before that, Ivan took out his timetable for this year and handed it to Wood.

After the latter read it, he couldn't speak for a long time, and almost thought that he had read it wrong.

It wasn't until Ivan said he could check with Professor McGonagall and Hermione took out his schedule that Wood believed it.

Ivan was already so busy that he had to take several classes at the same time, so he naturally didn't have the face to let Ivan play Quidditch again, so he finally patted Ivan on the shoulder and returned with pity.

Ivan was also slowly relieved to solve a troublesome matter, he had been worried that Wood would insist that he participate in this year's Quidditch, which would be more troublesome.

After lunch, the group grabbed their books and walked out of the castle to prepare for their first lesson on protecting magical beasts.

The sky over Hogwarts was always gloomy due to the disturbance of the Dementors, but today it was a rare good day, and the dense dark clouds had dispersed...

Halfway through, Harry and Ron complained about the monster book in their hands, and even though they had roped it down, they couldn't silence them all the time.

Hermione, on the other hand, had already sealed the big mouth of the monster book with magic tape, and then wrapped it in a cloth and hugged it to her chest, but the book was still irritable and tried to break free from her embrace.

"Ivan, why are your books so obedient?" Hermione looked at Ivan with some confusion, he had the same book in his hand, but he was quietly in his hand.

"As long as you know how to deal with their weaknesses and touch the back of the book, they will be obedient." Ivan looked at Hermione and the others who were in a hurry, and explained.

Hermione did so, confused, and ran her fingers down the back of the book, and the irascible monster book trembled violently, and immediately stopped making a fuss.

"Great, it really works!" Ron also gave it a try with half a doubt, and then said in surprise, even he opened the book, and the book didn't mean to bite him.

"Ivan, how did you know this method?" Ron asked curiously, he bet even the salespeople at Liheng's bookstore didn't know about it.

Because when he and Harry claimed to buy two monster books, the clerks there almost cried, and it is said that some people were bitten when they were restocked.

"Someone has solidified magic such as item activation in this book, and as long as you find the node where the magic is weakest, you can temporarily interrupt the effect of this magic!" Ivan said aloud.

Since the two bloodlines fused, Ivan's perception ability is much sharper than before, and his alchemy level is very high, so it is easy to see how this monster book is made.

Apparently the makers of this book are also full of bad taste...

"Really, I don't know which bastard would use this method to make a magic book.." Ron cursed.

While chatting like this, Ivan and the others soon saw Hagrid's hut, which was rarely very lively, with about forty or fifty people coming, and it seemed that this kind of extracurricular course was still very popular.

It's just that the Slytherin cadets are here, and Harry even sees Malfoy, which makes his otherwise good mood a little bad.

The tall Hagrid stood straight at the door of the hut, wearing his moleskin coat, and looked very excited to count the heads, and when he saw that everyone was there, he waved his hand and beckoned the young wizards to walk towards the Forbidden Forest.

The young wizards were both a little worried and a little expectant, because Dumbledore had to emphasize the dangers of the Forbidden Forest every school year.

The Great Hound stuck out his tongue and followed them all the way.

Fortunately, Hagrid still had a plan in mind, and he didn't really take them on a day trip to the Forbidden Forest, but walked around the edge of the woods, and after a few minutes, he came to the outside of a small paddock.

"Let's get together!" Hagrid's loud voice shook the young wizards in the vicinity to pluck their ears.

After seeing that everyone was getting closer, Hagrid shouted again.

"Yes, that's it! First you need to open the textbook - show me which of you have subdued these cuties..."
