Chapter Seventy-Three: Accidents
Knock knock!
The hurried knock at the door awakened Count Raphael's thoughts, and rubbing his tired face, he looked out the window at the cold night, his brow furrowed slightly.
The invisible life energy opened the door, and the figure of Atley's butler appeared in the bedroom, holding a red letterhead in his hand.
"Master Raphael, there's urgent information."
After seeing that it was Atley's butler, Count Raphael's old face was lighter, and the old fellow who had followed him for decades would not disturb his rest unless it was something important.
He often sighs to himself sometimes that he is getting old and his daily energy is really limited.
Count Raphael took the red letterhead, the subtle flow of life energy, the seal fell off, and he took out a piece of paper full of words, and his face suddenly became solemn.
"Can you confirm that the source is reliable?"
"It can be confirmed that it is from the outpost that was previously planted in the town of Irwindale, and now it has successfully infiltrated the military intelligence office left behind by the Elmfaro Empire." Butler Atley said in a deep voice, a little disgust flashing in his cloudy eyes.
"And that's what the bed bugs are saying."
Tapping lightly on the table with his right hand, Count Raphael suddenly laughed, and he handed the red letterhead to Butler Atley, and said with a smile.
"It looks like our Modrian Knight is in big trouble and I don't know how this little guy is going to deal with it."
Butler Atley swept the contents of the red letterhead, his eyes fixed, the contents of which were somewhat astonishing and full of greedy desire.
Refined iron ore has been found in the town of Irwindale and is rumored to have been excavated by the Modrian knights from deep within the Loenwall Mountains, with an unknown amount of deposits.
"The vein of refined iron ore is enough to make some aristocratic forces do crazy things!" Butler Atley's face showed hesitation, and then he asked softly.
"Should we pass the news on to the Modrian Knights, maybe he doesn't know about the changes in the town of Irwindale right now."
Refined iron ore, refined iron veins, that are all strategic materials.
According to the laws of the kingdom, any veins found in the territory of the nobility belong to the nobleman, and other nobles and forces cannot be robbed.
But what if that nobleman died suddenly? Even the family has disappeared completely?
This happened a lot in the history of many kingdoms, and usually ended up with a few powerful nobles working together to develop the veins.
"Of course, since you have already bet, then go ahead and call, in the end, it is just a question of how much to lose."
"If he can resist the forces in the northern part of the kingdom, then we will be rewarded more than we imagined." Count Raphael's tone was indifferent, it was just a vein of refined iron, and it was not in the eyes of the Harriman family.
And at this point in time, the Harriman family should not act excessively, he looked south, and the old eyes were filled with waves, which was the center of the Stoke Kingdom.
For some reason, Count Raphael remembered the words of His Royal Highness the Grand Prince before he left.
"Has the chaos begun?"
......................
The green environment in the Blue Strawberry Hotel is nice, and Modrian walks in the exquisite garden after a morning workout, and the colorful flowers are blooming in the spring, and the air is filled with a light fragrance.
He wiped his sweat with a towel as he walked to his room, and when he was ready to wash up, he headed to Harriman Castle, where he found a miscellaneous book yesterday that contained an introduction to the Lenwall Mountains, and perhaps something to be gained.
"Butler Atley!"
At the door of the hotel room, Modrian saw the old butler of Harriman Castle, who seemed to have been waiting for a while, holding a red letterhead in his hand.
"Good morning, Modryen Knight." Butler Atli said gently, then handed over the letterhead in his hand. "There seems to be some news coming out of your territory, I hope you can learn about it sooner rather than later, and be prepared in advance."
My territory? Fort Digs?
Modrian frowned slightly, and after taking the letterhead, he quickly browsed the information inside, and his fair face became solemn.
Irwindale Town, Refined Iron Ore, Refined Iron Vein!?
It seems that someone is challenging my level of patience. Modrian thought back to the oak tavern in the town of Irwindale, and his grim expression flickered.
"Thank you Harriman family, I will take it to heart." Closing the paper, Modrian bowed to Atley's butler.
If you can know the news in advance, the more time he can think about it, don't underestimate this advance time, there are a lot of things that can be done.
"Harriman Castle will still welcome the Knights of Modryen if there is time." Butler Atley was still smiling gently, his expression unchanged.
Modrian calmly looked at the old man in front of him, and only now did he realize that he didn't seem to feel a little life energy and spiritual strength from this old man, which was a bit not simple.
"Once this is over, I will come to visit Count Raphael again." Modrian nodded in promise.
Watching Butler Atley leave, he had a hunch that perhaps the next time he came, he would know a lot of things he had never known.
After hurriedly calling Bobby, as well as Needham and the other 4 Trefali legionnaires, Modrian did not mess with himself and still chose to stay at the Blue Strawberry Hotel.
According to the instructions before leaving Fort Digvo, if something serious happens, Fort Delvo will urgently send someone to the city of Edalas to inform him.
"Refined iron veins, I think there are already a lot of people eyeing my prickly fat, right?" Modrian looked at the city of Edallas in the early morning and thought silently.
In the eyes of all the forces in the northern part of the kingdom today, Modrian, who has destroyed the Iron Thorn Cavalry, is a rising star, with sharp fangs.
But now that the others are in Edalas City, not in Fort Digwo, there will be some room for manoeuvre.
As long as there is enough interest temptation, there will definitely be people who take the risk.
"The journey back may not be very quiet, so it seems that you need to prepare early."
A dark green stream of data emerges in the pupils, and Modrian calls out the rudimentary framework of the system.
[Name: Modrian Perris]
[Strength: Knight (Knight's Body, Scarlet Breathing)]
[Blue Essence: 617 points]
[Orange Essence: 0 o'clock]
[Victory Points: 0 points]
[Item: Random Class Card*5]
During the more than a month of exploration in the Lemmor Mountains, Modrian's harvest was not bad, except for the many monsters he slaughtered, and occasionally obtained some relics of wandering mercenaries and adventurers.
The accumulated Blue Essence can provide 6 random summons in League of Legends, as well as the previous completion of [Temporary Mission: Destiny of War!] ], the reward obtained is 5 random class cards, which can be used if necessary.
Originally, he wanted to explore the function of the system with the random class card that was reserved, but now it is a matter of his own life, and he has to prepare more.
And while Modrian was silently waiting for the arrival of Fort Digvo, the undercurrent in the city of Edalas was surging at this moment, and many noble carriages were hurrying on the clean streets, with the sound of horses' hooves and the waves falling in all directions.
Like the Harriman family, these aristocratic forces got some news in advance, but they were much slower than the Harriman family.
