The original design concept of the guinea pig came from the "Mouse in the Wall" in the Cthulhu Mythos, and I believe that for those who know Cthulhu, the entry-level story of "The Mouse in the Wall" should be known.

Also a reference to the Skaven Rat from Warhammer, the Rat from the New World, of course, you can also call it "Jerry".

In addition, from his abilities to the positions held by the Mystic Hall, the mouse is designing for the standard "investigator" identity set by Cthulhu.

From the very beginning of the design of the Mystic Hall, I was thinking about what kind of character I would be the chief disciple of Mr. Truth.

In the end, it was decided to use a small animal.

The setting of the chief is more important.

Because Su Qi's positioning in the Hall of Mystery is the KP in the running group game, he is destined to have a weak sense of existence, and the interaction is mainly between the characters.

I needed to balance the settings of several characters so that they had enough "abilities" and "personalities".

"Ability role" provides Su Qi with ability help, which is equivalent to dividing the protagonist's ability into several people.

In the mysterious hall of "personality role", Su Qishao can take the initiative to speak, and he can also make the interaction promoted, which is equivalent to splitting the protagonist's goal into several people to talk about.

Personality role: A stylish deterrent in the mysterious hall, just like the sect needs a master to sit in charge, because of Su Qi's KP positioning, he is like the "sect" itself, and is destined to not be this master, so he needs a role that stands in the position of a master.

However, this master can't be a real master, otherwise the plot doesn't make sense logically, so I chose a "fake master", "fake boss" as the chief master.

I wanted him to interact less with the other members, so I simply made it not good at talking.

I want to make him have unique needs, like make him like cheese.

I want him to be very unable to replace Su Qi's uniqueness and not steal the limelight of the protagonist, so I make him very weak, preferably very small.

The guinea pig, and so it was born.

I didn't give the guinea pig any special abilities at first, I expected it to be more ordinary, it would be better.

Of course, in order to get in touch with the plot, I made it smarter and more inquisitive, came into contact with the shrine, entered the Hall of Mysteries, and became the "big guy" in the eyes of Kujo and Hugo.

This kind of setting of one emperor in each era is very emotional and interesting, and I used this as inspiration to design the transcendent person.

Because it is an urban theme, it is very difficult to add the setting elements of fantasy, so I thought for a long time about how to retain the "artistic conception of the emperor" without losing the sense of substitution of the urban background.

Finally, there is the transcendent person now.

The mystery of an era feeds a transcendent person.

You can also understand it as:

Fabricate the "deception" of an era and achieve the emperor of an era.

The person who transcends is to transcend the thinking mode of the masses of that era, and control the thinking of the masses of that era in a way similar to the Snajin box.

Why did I keep mentioning the rabble before, the book I saw when Su Qi first went to Heimen was the rabble, and I repeatedly mentioned this concept later.

Because mastering the "rabble" is a necessary condition for becoming a transcendent person, which belongs to the power system in this book, I laid the setting of the anchor line in order to tell this story well.

The "rabble" setting I chose is also based on the current business, finance, and Internet industries, which are more popular than this topic to nest.

The navy is a sharp knife, and public opinion is power, and I turned it into a tangible ghost and god in this book, a stylish anchor.

The story is not speculation and imagination, but refers to actual cases, such as the diamond scam I cited earlier, which took so much space, just to give an example to let people who don't understand the concept of this scam understand what kind of behavior pattern these emperors, these masterminds, and these transcendent people I am going to write about in the future.

Many people thought it was novel before the setting of Deep Sea Anchoring, but why did I design this power system?

Then, in response to the decrease in horror, this is something that more than one person has told me, and someone mentioned it to me two months ago.

In fact, the reason is very simple, this is not a horror article in the first place, so I didn't try to create a horror atmosphere, and I can't be scary if I think horror is now.

Because the protagonist has become stronger.

Terror comes from the unknown and invincible, this book has a power system, and it is destined that the atmosphere of terror can only be produced in the early stage, and once the protagonist begins to climb the power system, it is impossible to be terrifying.

Since when? It starts with the plot of meeting Hans Christian Andersen.

At that time, the plot went in two directions.

A direction, there is no black door, there is no power system, I can write ghost stories repeatedly, the protagonist can see the contrast that others can't see, solve an event to get a divine object, use this routine to repeat hundreds of thousands of words, and even be a genre for many people to follow, in fact, it's not without this now.

This can be very popular, and it can also be a stable cycle routine, the protagonist does not climb the power system, and the horror atmosphere will not be destroyed.

But this is completely meaningless, not to mention hundreds of thousands of words of repeated routines, how tired you are, the main thing is that I don't like to write such a book, or that I'm not good at a single routine unit drama, what I'm good at is doing complex settings, paving the story line with excavation points, and multi-line parallelism makes me feel that there is content to write.

Another direction is to join the Black Gate, open the power system anchored in the deep sea, introduce the transcendent people and the mystery of the times, and really pull this worldview to a very big place, and have the opportunity to write more about these interesting settings.

Of course, I could have foreseen that the sense of terror would inevitably be destroyed, and it would cause many people to abandon the book, after all, I saw a lot of people coming for the terror feeling.

The concepts of "memes" and "memes" I mentioned above are integrated into the setting of the book in a kind of "not like an overhead overhead", so that the story can flow smoothly and conform to the setting.

On the one hand, the eight hundred bhikshunis fit the setting of the mastermind behind the scenes, and on the other hand, I chose "Infinite Dweller" and "Drifter" as references, but I still think that the content that is more oppressive is more in line with my needs for shaping this era.
